Lord of All Gods
Chapter 3322
These people and demonic beasts truly act without restraint, leaving devastation wherever they pass, showing no consideration whatsoever and not even bothering to clean up the battlefield.
Ye Liuyun noticed quite a few corpses on the ground with storage rings still uncollected, so he released several Return One Realm Ninth Level puppets to help clean up the battlefield.
These puppets immediately caught the attention of the Li family’s experts, and several cultivators charged toward Ye Liuyun. He didn’t have the puppets intervene—instead, he used Spatial Force and heaven-earth energy to swiftly dispatch these experts himself.
He also soul-searched a few elders among them, confirming that this was indeed a branch of the Li family. Moreover, the Li family operated numerous industries; almost all profitable ventures on these planets belonged to them.
"The Li family’s strength is comparable to a dynasty!" Ye Liuyun roughly assessed before casually devouring those elders’ souls.
He considered their considerable strength a good thing—it provided perfect training opportunities. Otherwise, encountering such bandit families wouldn’t be easy.
Ye Liuyun’s battle finally alerted a Ninth Level Peak cultivator who directly attacked him. Unexpectedly, this cultivator was a sword cultivator. While his sword intent wasn’t as strong as those sword cultivators Ye Liuyun had previously subdued, it was still considered quite decent among sword cultivators.
Ye Liuyun didn’t draw his blade. Instead, he wanted to test whether Spatial Force and heaven-earth energy could block a single strike from him.
He surrounded himself with overlapping spaces to offset the sword cultivator’s attack, then concentrated as much heaven-earth momentum as possible to clash against that sword strike.
However, his heaven-earth energy wasn’t particularly powerful to begin with—broad-area heaven-earth energy against a single beam of sword light didn’t accomplish much. In the end, he could only rely on overlapping void spaces for defense.
Yet that single slash actually cleaved through even the overlapping void spaces, coming straight at Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun could have taken that strike with his physical body alone—he would have survived it—but it would have been rather embarrassing; at minimum, his clothes would have been ruined. So in desperation, he thought about using divine essence for defense.
Suddenly, he recalled Jiang Yuanhao’s qi-protecting sword aura. Without time for hesitation, domineering blade intent erupted from within him. Though he held no blade in hand, that powerful blade intent actually managed to block the opponent’s sword intent head-on.
The opponent’s sword intent had already been weakened considerably by Ye Liuyun’s heaven-earth energy and Spatial Force; otherwise his hastily unleashed blade intent might not have blocked it successfully.
After all, this was a technique he’d just attempted—he wasn’t proficient with it yet. But seeing it work immediately made him start practicing stronger blade intent to protect himself while learning how to mobilize that blade intent specifically against frontal attacks.
The sword cultivator was also startled when he sensed Ye Liuyun’s suddenly erupting domineering blade intent. He immediately realized Ye Liuyun’s blade intent far surpassed his own sword intent in strength.
What puzzled him was why YeLiunyin refused cross blades directly despite having superior weapon mastery but wasted no time launching another full-power thrust concentrating all available force behind point-blank range
"How do I move it? His sword slash can even split the void apart!" Ye Liuyun was somewhat puzzled. No matter which void he moved it to, that slash could still tear through the void.
"Can’t your current Heaven and Earth power break through the void of the Taixu realm?" The book demon retorted, also reminding Ye Liuyun.
"Alright, I’ll try!"
Ye Liuyun figured that even if his Spatial Force couldn’t break through that layer of void barrier, he could still wear down most of that sword intent.
So he immediately slowed down his Heaven and Earth power attacks, giving the swordsman a chance to strike at him. The swordsman didn’t think twice and immediately seized the opportunity to attack Ye Liuyun.
This time, Ye Liuyun simply exerted his full strength to tear open the layer of void barrier leading to the Taixu realm, moving that layer of void in front of him.
"As expected, my Spatial Force can tear through that barrier now!" Ye Liuyun was quite satisfied with his own progress.
After the swordsman’s slash entered this layer of void, it indeed didn’t come back out—it simply vanished.
"I already told you, your Spatial Force is strong enough—you just don’t know how to use it!" The book demon said disdainfully.
"I didn’t know I’d become this strong before!" Ye Liuyun explained to him.
"Tch. Even with your previous Spatial Force, there were ways to deal with that slash!" The book demon said contemptuously.
"Then tell me, what other method is there?" Ye Liuyun used a provocation tactic.
"Can’t you make relative spaces expand or contract? If the space where that swordsman is becomes smaller, or if your space becomes larger—wouldn’t his puny sword intent become negligible?" The book demon asked Ye Liuyun rhetorically.
"How small and how large would it need to be for the sword intent to become negligible?" Ye Liuyun was somewhat skeptical.
"As long as you understand the principle of relative change—how large or small isn’t entirely up to you? Truly foolish!" The book demon sighed, feeling that he had power but didn’t know how to use it.
