Chapter 111 -81: Uprooting Three Camps in One Day, Slaughtering Them Until They Dare Not Descend the Mountain to Rob and Glide!
“I won’t go down without a fight!”
Li Bao’s hairs stood on end. He stomped the ground, his figure twisting rapidly as a burst of True Qi erupted around him. His arms shook like sieves as his long spear transformed into a streak of crimson light, attempting to block the attack.
“Die!”
The saber gleam tore through the crimson spear light effortlessly, like a Flood Dragon opening its maw to swallow a red fish whole.
Li Bao’s body trembled violently. Under this overwhelmingly unstoppable blade, his entire being shattered explosively. His limbs and bones splattered in all directions, dotting the thin layer of snow around them like blooming plum blossoms. His gruesome death didn’t look like he had been killed by a saber at all.

Zheng Jun sheathed his saber and exhaled a puff of mist, rapidly replenishing the True Qi he had just consumed.
This strike seemed entirely unremarkable on the surface, yet it had drained a considerable amount of Zheng Jun’s True Qi. After all, his opponent was a Qi Storage Martial Artist. Killing one in a single strike inevitably required a massive expenditure of True Qi.
However, the small ink-wash characters that appeared before his eyes left Zheng Jun deeply disappointed. A Qi Storage Martial Artist had only increased his progress by 78 points. This rate of progress was simply too arduous. Ten thousand points… did he have to kill over a hundred Qi Storage Martial Artists? Zheng Jun felt incredibly frustrated.
Meanwhile, Li Bao’s remains were splattered all over the ground. The surrounding lackeys were dead silent, their faces filled with absolute shock. One of the lackeys even rubbed his eyes, utterly unable to believe the scene unfolding before him, suspecting he was seeing some sort of hallucination.
They wondered if their boss was really dead. Had he actually been hacked to death in just one strike?
The lackeys opened their mouths as if to say something, but not a single word came out.
“And then there’s you lot,” Zheng Jun said, looking at the surrounding Blood Refining lackeys. Even a mosquito was still meat; no matter how weak they were, a single strike would still grant him a decent amount of repayment points.
“Brothers, let’s take him down!” the second boss roared in anger.
The lackeys scattered across the hillside finally snapped out of their daze. However, looking at Zheng Jun and his overwhelming murderous aura, they hesitated. They wondered if they should fight him. Perhaps they should just forget it and run away. He was only one person, after all—could he really kill all of them?
“Kill him!”
The second boss had lost all sense of reason. He raised his spear and charged at Zheng Jun. His name was Li Geng, Li Bao’s blood brother! Such was the depth of their brotherhood.
“Hmph!”
Zheng Jun snorted coldly. With a flick of the Beirong Saber in his hand, an explosive crack like spring thunder instantly rang out. The saber’s gleam flashed, accompanied by a sound akin to a tiger’s roar and a dragon’s howl.
He stepped forward and drew his blade!
CLANG!
The saber light flared like a swimming dragon bursting from the sea. Amidst the tumultuous storm, it surged like a raging river. With several slashes, the blade light multiplied from one to ten, and ten to a hundred. In a mere instant, the area was transformed into a sea of blood and flashing blades!
“Ahhhh!”
“Run away! There’s no way he’s just at Qi Storage; he must be an Outer Gang Martial Artist!”
The brilliant saber light flashed like a sky full of stars. Along with these dazzling streaks, a chorus of miserable shrieks echoed all around.
After just a few breaths, the ocean-like waves of saber light died down. What emerged in their wake was a torrential downpour of blood and flesh spraying across the mountain. The falling snow mingled with the rain of blood. Red and white converged.
As the bloody rain splashed onto the ground, Zheng Jun’s black clothes fluttered wildly in the wind. Formless True Qi clung to his body, repelling any splattering blood from coming near him. The dispersing shockwaves slowly melted the surrounding snow, turning it into a mixture of slush and blood that trickled down the slope.
Glancing around once more, aside from the five kidnapped hostages, there were only two or three lucky bandits left. They hadn’t been slain by Zheng Jun, but they were already paralyzed with fear.

“Spare my life, great hero! Spare my life!” ℯℯ𝘭.
One rather clever bandit immediately rolled over and began kowtowing to Zheng Jun incessantly, not daring to show the slightest bit of disrespect.
Meanwhile, the five kidnapped hostages stood frozen like statues, their faces deathly pale. It seemed they had never witnessed such a horrifying scene before.
“I am Zheng Jun of the Black Mountain Guard. I came up the mountain today solely to eradicate the bandit menace,” Zheng Jun said with a cold expression. He sheathed his saber and asked coldly, “Do you know the locations of the other strongholds nearby?”
“N-No, I don’t,” the rather clever bandit trembled, his voice quivering as he spoke.
Upon hearing the word “No,” Zheng Jun’s gaze sharpened. The Beirong Saber at his waist shot out of its sheath. With a flash of white silk-like light, a head the size of a bowl instantly rolled to the ground.
This time, Zheng Jun didn’t sheath his saber. Instead, he looked at the other two bandits. “What about you two?”
Staring at the Beirong Saber dripping with blood from its tip, one of the bandits was terrified out of his wits and immediately shouted, “I know where Third Song’s bandit lair is!”
“Very well.”
Zheng Jun nodded. With a backhand slash, he struck down the other bandit who hadn’t spoken, then commanded, “Take me there.”
Third Song, formally known as Song Shi, was a Peak of Blood Refining Martial Artist with half a foot already stepping into Qi Storage. He was also a Village Chief of one of the Black Mountain Nineteen Strongholds. It was better than nothing.
“Y-Young hero.”
Just then, a crisp voice rang out. Zheng Jun followed the sound and saw a young girl standing under a cloud pine tree. Her face was slightly stiff from the freezing cold, and her hands were trembling. Stopping Zheng Jun, she bowed gracefully to him and introduced herself, “I am Sun Qiwei, and this is my second older brother, Sun Qizhen. Thank you for saving our lives, young hero. We will never forget this profound kindness!”
“Mhm.” Zheng Jun gave a slight nod. “Is there something you need?”
If this Miss Sun hadn’t stopped him, Zheng Jun really would have forgotten about her. After all, Miss Sun and her three handmaids had no Martial Arts skills whatsoever; they were purely ordinary people. As for Sun Qizhen, he was in the Blood Refining realm, but his bones and muscles had been locked down, hiding his aura.
