Living With My Yandere Professor
Chapter 149: Caught By Friend
Andrew turned to look at Scarlett, about to tell her that he would drive instead.
But before the words left his mouth, he saw Scarlett looking at him with bright, expectant eyes.
"Actually... I really want to see it too."
"..."
For a moment, Andrew didn't know what to say. After gathering his thoughts, he finally replied, "Even if I wanted to wear one, there aren't any cosplay outfits for me."
As he spoke, Andrew looked toward Catherine, hoping she would back him up.
However, she was still upset over his earlier defiance and looked at him with obvious dissatisfaction.
Hmph. Why didn't he tell Scarlett, 'Why should I listen to you?'
"Yes, I really don't have any male cosplay outfits," Catherine admitted coldly.
Andrew then looked back at Scarlett.
"Teacher, see? There aren't any outfits for me to wear in the first place. Besides, cosplay outfits usually need to be custom-made to fit properly. I'm so thin that if it isn't tailored for me, it'll look terrible."
"Mm, I know."
Scarlett rested one hand on her chin, her gaze still fixed intently on Andrew, her eyes filled with anticipation.
The last time Andrew had seen Scarlett look at him like that was when he was taking off his clothes in the rental apartment.
After a moment of silence, she spoke calmly.
"Actually, I think you could try wearing a dress."
"???"
Andrew's eyes instantly widened.
"Teacher, we're going out to have fun. That wouldn't be appropriate, would it?"
"I know."
Scarlett nodded before calmly adding,
"But I just want to see it."
"!!!"
What?! She's not even trying to hide it anymore?
---
On the weekend, Scarlett sat in the passenger seat wearing her cosplay outfit.
Catherine, dressed as Hatsune Miku, held up her phone and continuously took pictures of the driver, "Little Sister Scar."
Even Scarlett, who normally sat quietly and looked out the window during car rides, kept her eyes fixed on Andrew.
"You've already looked at me several times. Do you really have to keep staring?" Andrew asked as he drove, growing embarrassed under their constant gazes.
"Aiya, don't open your mouth. The moment you speak, the illusion is shattered."
"..."
Andrew had naturally fair skin, and with Scarlett and Catherine helping him with his makeup and costume, his Keqing cosplay might not have been a perfect recreation, but it was undeniably beautiful.
His long, slender legs looked especially elegant in black stockings, making even Catherine want to reach out and touch them.
After arriving at the comic convention, the three got out of the car and walked inside together.
Almost instantly, countless eyes turned toward them, and many people raised their phones and cameras to take pictures.
No one noticed anything unusual. Everyone assumed that three beautiful girls had come to enjoy the convention together.
It wasn't Catherine's first time attending a comic convention, so she quickly spotted an acquaintance.
Excitedly waving, she hurried over to greet them, immediately leaving Andrew and Scarlett behind.
Andrew didn't mind. It was the perfect opportunity to take Scarlett around and explore the convention together.
Wherever they went, photographers approached them, hoping to take pictures.
Someone from a talent agency even approached Scarlett, hoping to recruit her as an internet celebrity.
In truth, if Scarlett ever wanted to become an influencer, she wouldn't need an agency at all. With her appearance alone, she could easily gain millions or even tens of million of followers.
Of course, Scarlett had no interest in becoming an internet celebrity and politely declined the invitation.
She had simply come to spend the day with her little boyfriend.
As time passed, Andrew gradually got over his initial embarrassment and began confidently leading Scarlett around by the hand.
After they had finished exploring the convention once, Scarlett suddenly stopped, gently tugged at Andrew's skirt, and said,
"I need to use the restroom."
"Mm."
Andrew nodded.
When they arrived at the convention's public restrooms, Scarlett went inside alone.
Andrew also felt the urge to use the restroom, but as he stood at the entrance, he looked down at his surprisingly feminine appearance before glancing at the signs for the men's and women's restrooms.
He fell into deep thought.
He obviously couldn't go into the women's restroom.
But entering the men's restroom dressed like this seemed just as dangerous.
Maybe I should just hold it until I get home.
Andrew thought to himself.
Just then, another photographer approached him.
"Miss, may I take a picture of you?"
Andrew nodded without saying a word.
He had to admit that cross-dressing like this was surprisingly fun.
Because there were so many people, Scarlett was probably still waiting in line inside. Andrew waited outside for quite a while, posing for photos and interacting with many passersby.
Since he never spoke, a rumor gradually spread throughout the comic convention that the Keqing cosplayer was a mute beauty.
After waiting for nearly twenty minutes and still not seeing Scarlett come out, Andrew began to worry. Just as he was about to take out his phone and call her, another voice sounded beside him.
"Miss, may I take a picture of you?"
Andrew was about to refuse, but something suddenly clicked.
That perverted voice... Why does it sound so familiar?
When he turned around, he saw Ethan standing there, wearing a baseball cap with a camera hanging around his neck.
Startled, Andrew blurted out,
"Holy crap! What are you doing here?"
The moment he spoke, Ethan nearly dropped his camera.
"Holy crap! You're a guy?!"
"Wait a second... Your voice sounds really familiar!"
Ethan suddenly realized that the "beauty's" voice sounded oddly familiar, especially with that irritating tone that practically begged for a punch.
Seeing this, Andrew frantically shook his head and turned to leave.
"No, no. You heard wrong."
Being caught cross-dressing by his best friend would be unbelievably embarrassing.
But the more Ethan listened, the more convinced he became. He quickly stepped in front of Andrew, carefully examined his face, and his eyes widened.
"Holy crap! Aren't you that dog bastard Andrew?"
"No... no."
"Dog bastard, you're still trying to deny it?"
Seeing there was no way to hide anymore, Andrew quickly raised a finger to his lips.
"Shh! Keep your voice down, okay? What if someone else I know is here? If word gets out, how am I supposed to show my face ever again?"
"You really are Andrew?"
Ethan exclaimed as he looked Andrew up and down.
If Andrew hadn't spoken just now, he would never have imagined that this stunning beauty was actually his best friend.
At that moment, only one thought remained in Ethan's mind.
Brother... you're gorgeous.
"Andrew, you've secretly become a cross-dressing master behind our backs. You look this good, yet you never told us."
"Told you what? And you still haven't answered me. Why the hell are you here, you dog bastard?"
"I just came to hang out at the comic convention. If you can come, why can't I?"
Ethan looked around before asking,
"By the way, are you here alone? You're such a shut-in that you normally wouldn't come out for something like this."
Before he could finish speaking, Scarlett's voice came from behind him.
"I'm back."
Ethan's first thought upon seeing Scarlett was that Andrew, that dog bastard, had somehow managed to cheat on her.
But he quickly dismissed the ridiculous idea.
Looking more carefully, he recognized that the woman before him really was Scarlett.
Under Teacher Luo's usual authority, Ethan immediately straightened up and politely greeted her.
"Hello, Teacher Luo."
Scarlett also noticed Ethan and greeted him with a gentle smile.
"Mm. It's the holidays now, so there's no need to be as formal as you are at school."
After taking Scarlett's classes for so long, this was the first time Ethan had ever seen her smile.
It truly was a smile capable of captivating an entire city.
No wonder my brother is so hopelessly smitten.
Just then, a commotion suddenly erupted from the center of the comic convention.
"Thief!"
The entire venue instantly descended into chaos as many people hurriedly checked whether any of their belongings were missing.
A man dressed entirely in black, wearing a face mask, pushed through the crowd toward the exit. He kept his head lowered while clutching something tightly in both hands, clearly trying to conceal what he had stolen.
The moment he emerged from the crowd, the victim spotted him.
"It's him!"
Having been exposed, the thief immediately broke into a sprint.
Seeing security guards already blocking the main exit, he changed direction and dashed toward the rear exit—straight toward Andrew and the others.
Andrew immediately sensed the danger and instinctively stepped in front of Scarlett, afraid the desperate thief might try to take her hostage.
However, before he could react further, he felt a gentle hand push him aside.
The next moment, Scarlett raised her right leg high and delivered a powerful kick straight into the sprinting thief's abdomen.
"Pfft!!"
The force of the kick sent the black-clad thief flying backward. Foam sprayed from his mouth, and his eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets. He collapsed onto the ground, groaning in agony, before the rushing security guards quickly surrounded and restrained him.
Standing off to the side, Andrew couldn't help feeling a little dissatisfied.
That bastard got off too easily. Getting kicked by Scarlett was more mercy than he deserved.
