Chapter 2343: Chapter 2352: A Thousand-Watt Third Wheel
"It’s okay, Ms. Clark can bring the Young Master along." The driver responded quickly, without hesitation.
Enna Clark was completely out of options.
She could only turn her head, look at Bobby, and say, "Darling, come with me."
Bobby’s eyebrows furrowed into a frown.
He shot Enna Clark a silent glance, a look that seemed to say ’Enna, you’re secretly meeting another man, be careful or Mr. Dubious will find out and explode like a volcano.’
Enna also returned his look with an expression of helplessness.
Bobby received Enna’s helpless look, pursed his rosy lips, and relented, "Okay."
Scott Harris watched as Enna Clark led Bobby towards the nearby café, his head pounding.
What now?
Should he tell Baron about this?
If he tells Baron, he fears Baron might get jealous.
If he doesn’t tell Baron, it goes against his principles.
While he was conflicted, Enna Clark had already entered the café with Bobby.
The café was brightly decorated with a modern European-style that gave the place a high-end, tasteful vibe.
As soon as she entered, her gaze fell upon the café’s sole patron—Lyle Westbrook, sitting at the window seat. Compared to the last time she saw him, he looked much better. For some reason, perhaps just a figment of her imagination, she felt he exuded a bit of melancholy.
She was looking forward, and the person in front also lifted his head, as if sensing her gaze, their eyes met in mid-air—
Enna’s heart skipped a beat, and that uncomfortable feeling resurfaced.
Just as she paused for a few seconds, Bobby suddenly broke the subtly indescribable ambiance floating in the air.
"Hello, Uncle Westbrook."
His voice was clear and loud.
No trace at all of him previously saying he wanted to put the flowers Lyle Westbrook gave in the bathroom.
While cheerfully greeting Lyle Westbrook, he also tugged at Enna. Any discomfort she felt quickly faded away due to Bobby’s comical little gesture.
Isn’t Bobby always disdaining Baron Lawrence?
He was angry for days over Baron forcing him to study, ignoring everyone.
Yet when facing Lyle Westbrook, he seemed to transform into a different person, showing no sign of his usual displeasure towards his dad.
His tail raised in vigilant mode, rather like Baron’s little spy planted beside her, constantly reminding her not to cheat.
Enna chuckled at her own imagination, feeling more relaxed. She walked over and greeted the man sitting there, "Lyle Westbrook, long time no see."
"Long time no see."
"What would you like to drink?"
"Two glasses of orange juice!" Bobby answered quickly, not forgetting to secure his spot, sitting directly opposite the angelic-looking man, putting down his school bag, and naturally gesturing to the seat beside him, "Mummy, sit here."
"..."
Mummy...
He only called her ’mummy’ in situations he deemed dangerous.
Ordinarily, he’d refer to her as ’woman’, and at most when angry, shout her name. Now, suddenly calling her mummy so obediently, intentionally saying it clearly, made Enna’s skin crawl.
The waiter happened to approach with the order pad, and Bobby immediately repeated to him, "Two glasses of orange juice, with ice."
