Chapter 1860 - 1870: The Proud Bobby
Chapter 1860: Chapter 1870: The Proud Bobby
She never expected that the man who was always so superior and domineering would be willing to act as a horsie for Gigi, just because Gigi casually mentioned she couldn’t see ahead clearly.
In the past, Baron Lawrence would never have done this.
Who could possibly ride on the head of the President of the Lawrence Corporation?
Yet now, not only did he do it, but he did it so naturally. There wasn’t the slightest sign of anger or reluctance.
Enna Clark quietly curled her lips, finally speaking to him, "Baron Lawrence, be careful not to let Gigi get hurt."
Baron had thought she wouldn’t say a word to him all day today, but surprisingly, as soon as they reached the amusement park entrance, she initiated a conversation.
His dark pupils sparkled with light, and his mood couldn’t be described as anything but good. With his thin lips touching, he firmly grasped the little girl on his shoulders and said, "Don’t worry. No one will get hurt again!"
Neither she, nor Gigi, nor Bobby, would ever get hurt again!
"Let’s go, let’s have some fun in the amusement park." He strode inside, leading the little girl in confidently.
Although Bobby was still feeling conflicted, seeing him carrying Gigi on his back seemed to lessen the contradiction.
Enna took his hand, smiling at him gently and said, "Let’s go, Bobby. You’ve always wanted to ride the rollercoaster at the amusement park, right? Today you can ride as much as you want."
The handsome little boy’s eyebrows were delicate, and though he clearly wanted to, he turned his head aside and said, "Who said I wanted to ride, I definitely didn’t."
"Sure, sure, I want to ride, okay? Baby, just accompany me today, alright?" The brat surely forgot it was him clamoring to come to the amusement park this morning.
Bobby found a way to slide down the steps immediately, glanced at her, and held her hand tightly, saying, "We’re already here, so we must play well to make it worthwhile."
Later he was going to drag the Dubious Man to ride the rollercoaster, preferably five or six times in a row. He didn’t believe the Dubious Man could handle it!
This time, Baron Lawrence didn’t clear out the amusement park, and it was crowded with people, many of whom were families with children playing.
Of course, there were also couples and friends out having fun together.
He himself was like a moving beam of light wherever he went, always standing out, and becoming the focus of everyone’s eyes. Almost as if he was born to be dazzling.
Enna had long been used to such attention; anyway, with Baron Lawrence around, receiving such attention was normal. It would be strange if there weren’t many people watching.
But today, perhaps because Bobby and Gigi were there, surprisingly, not many girls were sending flirtatious glances or deliberately playing loudly to get their attention.
All there was were voices of praise and admiration.
"Wow, that man is so handsome. And his son, look, he’s really handsome too. I’ve never seen such a good-looking elementary schooler."
"Yes, he looks so cool with that stern face. Oh my, he looks like he’s around 10 or so; how could there be such a cool kid. He’s nothing like my little nephew who still has a runny nose."
Bobby isn’t anywhere near 10; he’s only 9, 9.
Enna really wanted to tell them that the cool little guy in their eyes was actually a stingy person who liked to watch soap family dramas for older women.
But wanting was one thing; of course, she had no problems and wouldn’t actually do that.
Otherwise, given Bobby’s prideful nature, he would definitely be hopping mad!
