Beichuan Ye’s face was not looking good but he understood that in this exploration of the Divine Palace Ruins, casualties were inevitable. Luckily, no important figures died, or the losses would be much greater.

Ling Chen nodded. These skeletons might not be strong individually, but they prevailed in numbers, posing little threat to Saints but significant danger to those whose cultivation hadn’t reached the Saint Realm.

"Where did you two go just now?"

A Bei Chuan Family elder looked dark and glared at Ling Chen and Hong Ye, "At the Bone Woman Shrine, you disappeared, and again at the Rain Demon Shrine. Are you just running away when facing danger for your own safety?"

"Silence, Brother Ling isn’t that kind of person!"

Beichuan Ye frowned, reprimanding.

Hong Ye sneered, "Hmph, if not for my master, you would all die here. How dare you reproach my master, truly ungrateful dogs."

Beichuan Ye was puzzled why the skeletons crumbled on their own. He suspected something controlled them but hadn’t found its precise location, surprised Ling Chen had discovered it.

"My Bei Chuan Family, thank Brother Ling for this lifesaving grace."

Beichuan Ye solemnly clasped fists.

"No need."

Ling Chen waved his hand, continuing, "Since we’re allies, mutual aid is expected. But we’ve spent too long here, other forces may have already reached the Central Shrine ahead of us; we need to hurry."

Beichuan Ye nodded, immediately signaling other Bei Chuan Family members to move; the Central Shrine was the core of Ise Shrine. If detained elsewhere too long, they might miss the treasures of Central Shrine, wasting time and opportunity.
