Limitless Summoner System

Chapter 93: Tyler’s True Identity

Tyler was surprised he felt like he was just in a regular car ride. He observed several control monitors, digital panels, almost everything was technology he had never seen before. He was glad the cockpit had small windows on the side so he could take it all in. This was nothing like the Earth galaxy; this was special. There were several planets and moons he could see amongst the stars that illuminated the otherwise dark outer space.

’I wonder how much this thing cost. This is amazing!’ He thought while noticing Adam was enjoying it just as much as he was.

"Hey Captain, do you mind if I ask you something?" Tyler asked politely.

"Sure, what’s on your mind?" He responded kindly.

"How often do you travel in space and why does everything feel smooth?"

"Right bro? I was just thinking the same thing. This doesn’t feel like space travel, it feels like a super fast car ride!" Adam exclaimed.

"Now that I’m captain I travel much more frequently than I used to. I’m not sure if you’re up to date on vampire lore, but around 2000 years ago technology and magic improved so rapidly that it made space travel routine. The OEA was formed before my time but has been with the planet for as long as anyone can remember."

"My parents told me that it’s run by a demigod. Is that true?" Adam asked with joyful curiosity.

"Yes. Aphrodite had a child with a demon when the gods and goddesses created this planet to create and bless humans, vampires, werewolves, demons and elves. He’s been here since the planet’s conception and formed the OEA based on instructions from the gods."

Tyler was stunned and stopped listening as the two remained talking about vampire lore and the history of the planet.

He felt foolish for not asking Ash, Bahamut or even his system about the origins of Vexarra. He just dove right in and started trying his best to adjust to his new life. Tyler sat quietly on the spacecraft still admiring everything. He noticed a massive ship that gave him chills.

’System, please analyze that ship.’

[Error: Cannot Analyze. Unknown entity.]

’They’re watching us.’ Tyler thought sadly.

"Keep your head up kid. If I would have known about any of this I would have told you. I had that lame ass who couldn’t use fire magic, we didn’t last long. He got killed by a beast when he was 22. Poor bastard," Ash said empathetically.

"That sucks. I can’t imagine being reborn over and over with someone new so many times. That has to be terrible..."

"Yeah, well, a lot of that is my own fault. I should have followed the rules."

"The rules of being locked up like a caged bird when you’re a mythological Eidolon? I say you did the right thing. So, if Earth was in a different universe, how many are there?!"

"Although we have existed for as long as we have, there are several universes and galaxies. Eidolons existed before summoners came to fruition. Gods and goddesses created summoners on planets with magical users but much like Vexarra, it always ended the same. They abused our power and ended up extinct," Leviathan sighed.

"Why am I able to hear you when you’re in the Land of Summoned Monsters Leviathan?

"You’ve been able to do that since Bahamut’s blessing Tyler, I just don’t think you ever realized it." Ritsu said cheerfully.

"You treat us so well and let us come and go so I think with everything going on in that busy brain of yours, you just lose track of who is where and when." Vivian said genuinely.

"I really do love and appreciate all of you. I’d be a lost man without my family of familiars and my new family and friends." Tyler said sincerely, but still had a hint of sadness to his voice.

"Please be honest. Did I really have Vexarran parents who died?"

"No. Your body was created by the system when you were reincarnated. My mom set up the system to give you credits every month so you could think of it as your Earth parents taking care of you. Sorry if that hurts, you’re a new creation Tyler."

Tyler sat speechless as they approached the OEA headquarters. There was a large floating logo illuminating the dark space over a large mothership. Captain Graves started working with the central control panel and within two minutes, they were docking in a reserved area for only captain’s ships. They parked in the designated spot and Adam noticed Tyler wasn’t himself. They exited the ship and as the officer grabbed Professor VanHorn, Adam decided to whisper to Tyler.

"Yo bro, everything ok? You look like you’re sad. What’s going on man?"

"I’ll be fine. Just a lot going on right now. I appreciate you asking though."

"Alright well let me know if you need me. I know you have your new family to look forward to and your familiars are expanding. I just thought you should know I think it’s incredible that you are the same, nice kid who I met back in the lounge. You’re so much more powerful but still the same kindhearted dude who said it was Attractive Academy," Adam said cheerfully.

Tyler smiled. "Thanks bro. I appreciate you too and that means a lot."

"I can’t believe we’re here. My parents told me if I ever got in trouble with the OEA they’d disown me." Adam chuckled.

Tyler laughed. "That seems a bit harsh."

"Well, getting sent to this mothership is a one way ticket to eternal damnation if you know what I mean." Adam said with a hint of fear in his voice.

"Well, at least we should end up on their good side. Let’s just hope this goes well." Tyler said while giving him a hug. "I love you bro, thanks again for being my best man."

Adam grinned. "Yeah I love you too bro. Let’s get this over with so we can go back home."

"Alright you two, follow me."

They followed the Captain out of the docking bay. They walked through two long hallways before reaching a smaller reception area, having to stop twice at retina scanners for access.

They signed in and received witness badges.

"This is where I say goodbye. I wish you both the best of luck and it was nice meeting you, my Prince," Captain Graves said with a polite bow.

"Nice meeting you too sir! Thanks again for everything, that ride was amazing!" Adam exclaimed.

"Thank you again Captain. If you ever need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’ll happily assist you with whatever you need," Tyler said politely.

The officer smiled and walked with Professor VanHorn down a different path. Tyler and Adam were directed by the receptionist to a small room that had two people sitting in it.

"Hello Tyler and Adam, we are here to brief you on your testimonies on behalf of the prosecution."

"I am attorney Jackson and this Attorney Eliza. We will be providing you with a briefing on what you need to explain in order to ensure Professor VanHorn is convicted."
