Limitless Summoner System

Chapter 161: Recon with Adam (1) [Birthday Bonus Chapter]

Despite Sophie’s accomplishment, the next week was quiet. Too quiet. Tyler enjoyed his regular rotation with the girls and went on some dates with them during the week, but school was so beyond boring that he was starting to get stir-crazy. Not even the Land of Summoned Monsters scratched his itch. Something that was weighing heavily on his mind was what would happen if he did end up having children after having conversations with each of the girls about it during the regular rotation.

They all felt it best to wait; they were just in their first and second years of university. Nyx was most open to the idea, as she was 21 and a princess. None of their "clocks" mattered due to immortality, but his biggest fear was what would happen if he fathered a child. He wasn’t human anymore. Thankfully, Isis had all the answers he needed.

"Tyler. Stop dwelling on this. It’s quite simple, really. If you want a vampire child with Nyxara, I will bless your seed with human and vampiric DNA or vampiric DNA. If you want the Eidolon to pass on, I can do that as well. These are easy solutions and something you should not be dwelling on," she explained clearly.

"That’s good to know, but that takes almost all the fun and joy out of becoming a parent, doesn’t it? Isn’t it the big surprise and hoping for a happy, healthy baby?" Tyler asked politely.

"Of course, but let me ask you this. Would you rather guarantee that your wives and your child are safe, that your child is brought into this world when you are ready, and that all the risk is taken out? I can’t choose which gender, so that will still be fun!" Isis said with a kind smile. "Would you like me to talk to them for you?"

"Yes, that would be really nice of you. I’m lucky to have all of you. I feel like I don’t get to spend any alone time like we used to. I remember the days when Vivian would just go talk to one of the girls or pop out and give me a breakdown on them. With 12, things get a little chaotic." Tyler sighed.

"Why are you so down, Tyler?" Shadow asked, perplexed.

"Do I feel that way? I don’t think I am. Maybe it’s just all the stress of the unknown. I’m not sure. I thought this would be different... I don’t know the difference or what type of difference, but the fact that I can just change into a phoenix whenever I want is cool," he admitted.

"Stop beating yourself up, kid. I thought you moved past this a long time ago. Stand up for what you believe in, protect what’s important to you, and enjoy your life." Rex grinned. "Once upon a time, you did kick my ass. Why not take a weekend in the Eidolon realm by yourself?"

"And leave the girls hanging? That seems rude..."

"You’re with them 24/7, dude. I’m sure they could use some girly time," Ritsu chuckled. "Life is a balance."

"You sound like Athena. Maybe you’re right. Thanks."

Tyler brought up the suggestion, and his wives were all for it. His only worry was that something could happen while he was away, but they reminded him about the system messaging function.

’Oh, right. I almost forget I have this thing sometimes. I used to use it for everything, but it’s been months since I’ve received a daily quest. I’m not going into that forest with Tiamat hanging around, and it’s not like I really need it to cast magic anymore.’

[That’s because the system was designed to get you up to speed and provide you with a foundation, not be a crutch for you to lean on. You are developing nicely. Just continue on that path. I would try to get your staff to level 10. Summoning Bahamut and Asura is a big deal.]

’How do I even get to that level? It’s been moving so slowly ever since I took all those charges from the Necrams.’

[You’ve answered your own question.]

A smirk grew wide across Tyler’s face. ’Take it to the enemy.’

[A simple reconnaissance mission should suffice. No use biting off more than you can chew.]

Tyler let the girls know his new plan, and they wanted to go with him. He told them having 5 of them would be too obvious and he simply wanted to scout the elven lands. He told Amanda she didn’t need to see her homestead in ruins for the first time like that and that they should enjoy a ladies’ night with CeCe, Katy, and all the others they hadn’t been hanging out with a lot lately.

Tyler texted Adam, who was happy to hear from him.

"Need a wingman and a scout. You down for a little Necram recon mission?" — Tyler

"Hell yeah, bro! When?" — Adam

"2 hours?" — Tyler

"Let’s get it!" — Adam

Kass handed Tyler a jug of Esper’s special potion and told him to behave himself and teleport out at the first sign of trouble. She also suggested speaking with Tommy about getting a headset so he could film what he was going to see.

Ring. Ring. Ring.

"Yo, what’s up, Tyler?" Tommy answered.

"Hey, Tommy, how are you and Mia doing?"

"Well, bro, thanks. What can I help you with?"

"Do you have a small camera I could attach somewhere on my body? I’m going to go on a little scouting mission to see if I can get some intel on the Necrams, and I figured you’d be the perfect person to ask."

"Yeah, man, just swing by and I’ll get you set up with something," Tommy said cheerfully.

"You sure you don’t want me to pay for it or anything?" Tyler asked.

"Nah, man. If you’re doing it for the good of our planet, what’s a camera or two? Just be careful. I’ll see you soon, I’m guessing?"

Tyler teleported to his front door and knocked. Mia answered with a giant grin. ℯ

"You can hang up the phone, Tom!" she shouted as he quickly sprinted down the stairs.
