Chapter 139: A Wholesome Reception

Nyxara continued kissing Tyler despite all the messages running through her head. The wedding was a success and she was glad to have this new system.

All of the wives were excited but confused and wanted to speak to Tyler about it. Unfortunately, they had a massive reception next with a DJ and more guests. Tyler and Nyxara walked hand in hand with the other ladies, who all had their dresses turn white again.

They followed the King and Queen to a giant reception area where over 1000 people were standing and cheering. Every race was represented aside from elves. Amanda wasn’t surprised but a small part of her wished to see some form of congratulations from her family.

Sophie, Kass and Nyxara’s parents sat at a table close to the head table where Tyler and his new wives all sat.

"Tyler, have you always had this ability?" Nyxara asked quietly but the girls all wanted to know the answer.

He was honest. "I got it when I found out I was coming to the school. It was designed by Asura and we shouldn’t tell anyone. That includes the King and Queen. It’s our thing and the gods want it to stay that way. Athena told me to find balance when she visited me when I was unconscious."

They all smiled and ate their meals, aside from Nyx who just drank blood. Kass’ flesh was made to look like a regular steak and she also had a glass of blood. None of them wanted alcohol.

The King and Queen both said kind words regarding Tyler and his wives but what surprised everyone the most was Adam’s speech.

"I remember the first day I met Tyler... He was so bummed he didn’t get Sophie’s number. Then at a party he miraculously disappeared and all the nonsense he told me about a Land of Summoned Monsters suddenly made a lot of sense. An immortal human with immortal wives and the only summoner in existence. Despite all of that, he’s always stayed this nice, humble kid who’s never lost sight of what’s important. I’m sure his parents are smiling down on him from Paradise and I hope all the vampires are excited as I am to one day follow him. Cheers!"

Everyone clapped and Tyler smiled, giving each one of the girls a kiss.

He danced with each one in reverse order from the marriage. Nyxara and he had a rehearsed routine they performed flawlessly to the delight of all of the guests. Kass and him danced to a much slower song and she just rested his head on his shoulder.

He and Amanda had fun and let loose. Amanda was really good at dancing and Tyler wasn’t so it was a great showcase for Amanda. She even twirled him and leaned him over to end it, which caused a good amount of friendly laughs.

He and Sophie rocked back and forth slowly as they both encouraged all the other guests to join them. Everything was going nice and smoothly.

"So a limitless system that was your trick to going beyond SSS. What does that mean for us?" She whispered into his ear after kissing his cheek.

"I wish I knew more Sophie but I don’t. I just know Asura gave you all the tools to be successful and you should be able to see your stats. You have to be close to SSS," Tyler smiled and kissed her again.

"You look beautiful by the way. Can we talk about something not related to ranks and magic?" Tyler laughed.

Sophie blushed and smiled. "So what’s the plan tonight? Are you still going to spend it with Nyxara?"

"Nah. I want to spend time with all of you. It doesn’t feel right to leave my wives to sleep alone on their big day. I just hope we all have fun on our honeymoon."

"Honeymoon?! What about school?" Sophie gasped.

"That’s probably the last thing on my mind right now. I got us excused for two weeks as long as we show up for our events. The rest is all a surprise!" Tyler smirked as the music stopped.

The rest of the reception was guests greeting them at their table. Many had kind words of encouragement and a rather large mountain of gifts formed behind them. Amanda was having a great time but kept looking down at her phone.

"I’m sorry Mrs. Rask but your new family thinks you’re pretty special," Tyler said with a smile.

"They actually texted me. I just don’t know how to respond," she frowned.

"What did they say?" Tyler asked while wrapping his arm around her.

"Congratulations on no longer being pathetic."

Before Amanda could react, Tyler asked the King and Queen if he could make a formal announcement to the elves. They agreed and Tyler grabbed Amanda and stood in front of a camera. When he got a thumbs up he started talking very charismatically and kindly.

"Hello to all of our elven allies. As the new vampiric prince, I’d love to introduce you to one of the most important vampiric nobles in Vexarra. This is Amanda Rask, an elf who you’ve outcasted and persecuted since she was a child. Today she stands with me proudly as a S ranked noble who has mastered Qi. Anyone who speaks negatively of her will have to answer to the Vampiric King and Queen. Everyone have a great day and may the gods bless all of you."

Amanda smiled and blushed while Tyler spoke, looking at him and the camera with a sense of relief.

"Thank you Tyler. I love you, that was sweet." She said while giving him a kiss.

"Of course. Now they can’t say anything negative about you. So stop worrying about them and let’s enjoy our night together." Tyler smiled while walking towards the King and Queen.

"What about Nyxara?" Amanda sighed.

"She’s fine with it. We will all have plenty of alone time on our honeymoon." Tyler grinned.

"That was a very kind and intelligent thing to say Tyler. You remained diplomatic while ensuring one of your wives cannot be spoken poorly of. You will make a great King some day," King Atwood said with a curt nod.

"Thank you for trusting me and thank you for a wonderful day. This is beyond my wildest dreams of what I pictured my wedding day would be. Do you mind if I steal my wives for the rest of the night?" Tyler asked with a big smile.

"Of course not. Many of the guests will stay and drink. We will entertain them, do not worry. Enjoy your honeymoon!" Queen Atwood said with a large smirk.

Tyler said his goodbyes and thanked Adam. He gave him a big hug, told him he loved him and he’d see him soon.

"Well ladies, it’s getting late, let’s go back home," Tyler said while teleporting them back to their apartment.
