Chapter 114: No Risk it, NO Biscuit [BONUS]

Tyler yawned and stretched his arms. Everyone returned to him and was peacefully sleeping inside his chest. He noticed the girls sitting together talking quietly near one of his white flames and smiled.

’I can’t wait to marry them. This challenge seems like it’s taking forever. I feel like I slept forever...how tired was I?’

The girls were talking about their plan to teleport around the forest and look for as many supplies as they could while trying to find the Armitage teams. They knew it was only a matter of time before they clashed and the sooner Tyler’s staff was cleansed, the better. They also understood they had to keep Tim’s team around for the Academy’s total score which was annoying but something they just dealt with.

"I really don’t care if we take them out now. For what they did to Kass and all those other women, I could honestly give a fuck less what happens to them," Tyler said cheerfully while sitting up.

They were excited he was awake and mauled him with hugs and kisses. He smiled and returned their love. They finally started packing up as much stuff as they could. Sophie created a box out of the rocks from the cavern and used magic to seal them together. They loaded everything they could into it, including the rest of their potions, which were starting to dwindle.

Nyx teleported them to various areas of the forest where they easily fought through the beasts.

They went to several locations while keeping an eye on the timer.

Again and again, they traveled to new areas and couldn’t find anything but beasts and a small chest here and there. Eventually, they finally ran into the Bloodcrest team. Surprised by their sudden appearance, they stood no chance. Tyler simply unleashed his summons and eliminated the team quickly. Fortunately, Bloodcrest also had potions and Tyler picked up a sword and gave it to Sophie.

"Looks pretty good. Legendary rapier." Tyler smirked.

Sophie handed it to Nyx. "Use your vampiric art and create a form with it. I prefer my katanas."

Fireworks shot into the sky and they didn’t bother looking at the scoreboard. They knew if they defeated the rest of the teams and got the mythological heart, that’s all they needed to win. More importantly, they needed it to cleanse Tyler’s staff. They drank some potions and carried on.

They continued deep into the forest and found another ruby chest, but this time it only had flesh and blood. Kass immediately ate all of it and took a small drink of blood to wash it down. Nyxara downed the blood and Tyler immediately recognized the toll relying on food capsules and potions was taking on the demon and the vampire.

"You two are so strong. I can’t imagine how difficult it is to go through this without your regular diet. That goes for Sophie and Amanda as well. I know food potions and capsules aren’t the healthiest ways to eat." Tyler said with compassion and a kind smile.

Kass and Nyxara felt rejuvenated and they continued to teleport while the timer ticked down.

00:45:12 Until Reset. 7 Teams Remaining.

They teleported again and saw another cave. They casually approached it until Tyler noticed traps.

"Stop moving," He whispered, pointing to the trip wires and magical enchantments around the cave.

’System, analyze this situation.’

[This cave belongs to Armitage Academy and currently has their 15 members inside. They have set up numerous devices to explode or tip them off that you are here. Thankfully, you have not been detected.]

"There isn’t much time until reset and that’s a lot of traps. If you destroy them, they’ll know you’re here so it takes away the element of surprise. What do you want to do?" Ritsu asked calmly.

"We need the heart. I don’t really care if they know that I’m here. Do you really think they can beat us? Everyone is S and above and I have the 8 of you," Tyler smirked.

"Still, 15 powerful ability users you know nothing about and a reset seems like a risky move." Ash said, reiterating Ritsu’s sentiment.

’System, could I link with Ash and carefully navigate through all of their traps without being detected?’

[It would be better to have Nyxara teleport you to their entrance and smash it in. They would be trapped in the cave.]

"Ok ladies, here’s the plan." Tyler spoke quietly as the entire world overheard what was about to happen.

"Oh my! It looks like Tyler Rask has a bold move to try and steal the mythological crystal from Armitage but can he get it done before reset?! Drop a comment below!" Tommy V said to his 1.5 billion viewers.

"Stay tuned everyone. This is going to get entertaining quickly!" EmieStreams exclaimed to her 150 million viewers.

Dean Pritchett paced back and forth and the control room, praying to the gods and goddesses Tyler could pull this off.

"Ok, Nyx, you know what to do." Tyler smiled while kissing her and grabbing ahold of her. She teleported him directly in front of the cave and he smashed the door open.

The mythological crystal was protected in the back by the entire team, but Tyler didn’t care about any of that. Gaia was making her way through the cavern’s walls as spells shot off rapidly at Tyler, who absorbed them with his staff. Gaia grabbed the crystal from behind them and one of the Armitage students noticed.

"They’re after the heart!" He screamed.

’Release stored energy in staff!’ Tyler thought and his staff sent a giant explosion into the cavern, which some of the students were able to block while others were sent flying into the cavern walls.

Gaia appeared in front of Tyler with the mythological crystal heart. She stood straight up and Tyler used his staff to touch it. His weapon started glowing and absorbed the item in Gaia’s hands.

"We did it! Let’s go!" Tyler screamed to Nyx, who had the girls with him and they disappeared from the angry Armitage students.

They landed in their original cavern ecstatic.

"I can’t believe that worked!" Sophie cheered.

"Wait, where’s the heart and why isn’t our score updated?!" Kass exclaimed.

Tyler looked at the scoreboard and noticed the scores didn’t change.

"It’s fine, we got what we needed and if we eliminate the rest of the teams and kill some beasts, it shouldn’t be a problem. I’m guessing they’re reviewing the footage. My staff absorbed the crystal heart and purified it!" Tyler said excitedly.

"Thank you so much ladies, that was amazing! I love you all and your back up spells without hitting the booby traps was so incredible! Nyx your timing was impeccable! This is great!" He continued.
