Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 524 - 523: Rhiannon Grant’s Plans
Chapter 524: Chapter 523: Rhiannon Grant’s Plans
Louis Young watched Rhiannon Grant’s sweet smile and thought of the tenderness from just now, his heart fluttered.
"Sure, I have time."
"Alright, see you tomorrow," Rhiannon said, turning to leave.
"Rhiannon." Louis called out to Rhiannon at this moment.
Rhiannon turned around and stopped, looking at Louis with some confusion, "What’s wrong?"
At this moment, Louis got out of the car and came to stand in front of Rhiannon. "I thought today... today was about the screening issue."
Upon hearing Louis’s words, Rhiannon’s face sank, and she said somewhat displeased:
"Louis Young, I, Rhiannon Grant, am not that insignificant, doing this with a man for a movie. The Grant Family doesn’t need this, and I, Rhiannon Grant, don’t need it either!"
Rhiannon finished speaking and turned to leave when Louis reached out and grabbed her.
"I’m sorry, Rhiannon, I misspoke, that’s not what I meant, don’t be mad."
Rhiannon, held in Louis’s arms, sighed and said:
"It’s just a movie; to me, it’s dispensable. But you, to me, are priceless. You are the CEO of The Young Group, not the chairman. I know The Young Group doesn’t fully trust you, so I don’t ask you for anything. I just feel that The Young Group owes you, and whatever you do, I support you. Don’t worry about the screening issues, and don’t let people think you’re helping me."
The more Rhiannon said this, the guiltier Louis felt inside.
He could feel that Rhiannon truly wanted to be with him, even if he wasn’t the CEO of The Young Group, she would still be with him.
Therefore, Louis didn’t want to wrong her even more.
Louis hugged her tightly and then softly said, "Rhiannon, you’re wonderful."
"Hurry back, see you tomorrow."
They lingered together for a while before reluctantly parting ways.
After returning home, Henry Grant saw Rhiannon come in and asked her at the door:
"Aunt, was that man just now Louis Young from The Young Group?"
"Yes."
"Why are you with him? I heard he’s an orphan adopted by Old Mr. Young since childhood, and he’s about to get engaged to Old Mr. Young’s eldest daughter. Did he deceive you?"
Henry feared Rhiannon, who had been abroad, was unaware of Louis’s situation.
But Rhiannon simply smiled, poked Henry’s forehead, and said:
"What could escape your aunt’s sharp eyes? I knew about this long ago."
"You knew yet you still date him?" Henry was very surprised.
"What’s there to fear? Right now, The Young Group relies on Louis, not Louis on The Young Group. Louis has already promised me that he won’t get engaged to that girl from The Young Family." Rhiannon said.
But Henry frowned and said, "Aunt, if Louis Young doesn’t get engaged to the Young daughter, then he has nothing from The Young Group. Why do you want a man with no power, influence, or social status?"
Rhiannon looked at Henry and smiled, understanding that he was still young and unaware of many things.
"Henry, if someone is used to commanding and enjoying everything, one day, if he loses it all, he won’t be able to bear the gap. Since The Young Group has given Louis a sense of achievement and everything, do you think he would easily let it go?"
Henry was taken aback, "If he doesn’t let go, then what?"
"I know more about the Young Family matters than you do. The Young Family’s eldest daughter is currently in college. Old Mr. Young plans for them to get engaged next month. Once engaged, Old Mr. Young will let go. By then, it will be easy for Louis to take over The Young Group. You know, he was a top student in economics; Old Mr. Young is no match for him."
