After Chester Lynch went up, he somehow found a rope and handed it down to South Grant.

South Grant climbed up along the rope, and after reaching the second floor, he clapped his hands and said:

"Didn’t expect you to be so nimble."

Chester Lynch chuckled, "Hurry back, after all this fuss, we should be able to sleep."

Yeah, now they could finally sleep.

Back in the room, South Grant hung his jacket on the coat rack, but when he felt the pockets, his heart skipped a beat.

"Oh no."

"What’s wrong?" Chester Lynch asked her, parting the curtain on the balcony.

"I lost my student card." South Grant was a bit anxious.

Chester Lynch thought for a moment, then said, "You go to sleep first, I’ll go and check the playground and the little grove for you."

Seeing Chester Lynch was about to leave, South Grant stopped him and said:

"It’s too dark, don’t go. You sleep first. We can look for it tomorrow when it’s daylight. Besides, that thing isn’t useful to others, they’ll definitely return it."

Then both of them went to sleep.

In the morning, South Grant was the first to go into the bathroom to apply makeup. When Chester Lynch saw it, he couldn’t help but smile.

"Makeup really is witchcraft. Your skills must’ve been honed since you were young. You’ve even drawn the Adam’s apple so vividly."

South Grant raised an eyebrow with satisfaction, "Of course, I’ve been practicing since I was eleven. It’s been years now. Didn’t I fool you too before? Even if they saw my face last night, it doesn’t matter; last night, what they saw was my face without makeup."

Then the two left the dormitory together to eat and then headed to the sports field.

Just as the military training gathered, South Grant and Chester Lynch were called away by the school leaders.

South Grant couldn’t help but worry, could it be someone found out about them last night?

But it shouldn’t be, no one clearly saw her face, how could they know it was her?

Could it be that Chester Lynch mentioned his name last night, and the school is calling them to verify if Chester was in the dorm last night?

South Grant thought, if the school asks her to identify, she definitely has to help Chester.

South Grant was dumbfounded. Them two?

No one found her last night, how did it become the two of them?

"Principal, what have I done?" South Grant asked tentatively.

The principal saw him denying it and said gravely, "Let me ask you, what did you do last night?"

South Grant heard this and thought, are they suspecting her?

"Nothing, I was sleeping in the dorm."

At this point, the principal took a student card from the office drawer, with South Grant’s name and photo on it, and threw it on the table.

"Take a look at this!"

South Grant saw it was his student card, his heart skipped a beat, and then he understood.
