Limited Time Marriage: Nice to Meet You Mr. Foster
Chapter 496 - 495: Traveling Far from Home
Chapter 496: Chapter 495: Traveling Far from Home
These days, he has been investigating Stella Foster’s matter, trying to figure out why Stella Foster went to The Grant Family later on. He also doesn’t understand why Ian Grant initially had South Grant recognized as a boy, and South Grant’s identity has not been restored.
South Grant said Ian Grant made her dress as a boy to inherit the family assets.
This statement is obviously wrong.
Even if Ian Grant had all daughters, no one could take the Grant Group from him; he had that much power.
Moreover, even when Jared Grant renamed the Ellison Group to Grant Group, he promised that only Claire Ellison’s descendants could take over the company.
Therefore, when South Grant said Ian Grant did it for the sake of inheritance, this reason was not believable.
There must be another reason.
Nathan Foster is determined to find out this reason.
"South, wake up, it’s noon."
South Grant didn’t expect to fall asleep, she sat up, rubbed her eyes, and saw the big sun outside, realizing she had slept for so long.
"How did I fall asleep?" she mumbled.
Then she exclaimed a quick "Oh no," and was about to get out of the car.
"The instructor said we gather in half an hour; I’m definitely running late."
"It’s okay, I’ll talk to him," Nathan Foster said, telling her not to worry.
South Grant turned to Nathan Foster, "Uncle, what are you busy with, why are you so tired?"
"Nothing, just matters in the military district."
"Oh." South Grant didn’t ask further.
She then remembered telling Nathan Foster that the cafeteria food was really good, so she invited him:
"It’s already noon, how about having lunch together at our school’s cafeteria?"
"Next time, I still have things to do, you drive back."
"Alright then, I’ll head off first."
After South Grant got out of the car, Nathan Foster rolled down the car window and called out to her.
"I need to go to Europe for about a week. You train well at school, and I’ll pick you up when you’re done."
"Okay," South Grant nodded and smiled.
Nathan Foster watched South Grant walk away before driving off.
As soon as South Grant entered the cafeteria, Chester Lynch saw her and called out.
"Where did you go this morning?"
"Oh, my uncle came, and I went out with him," South Grant answered.
Chester Lynch didn’t ask further and then pointed to where he was sitting:
"You go have a seat first, I’ll get you some food, what do you like?"
South Grant waved her hand saying, "No need, I’ll go take a look myself. You start eating first, it won’t taste good if it gets cold."
South Grant proceeded to the serving counter, and after getting her meal, returned to Chester Lynch’s side.
"What did you train for this morning?" South Grant asked Chester Lynch.
"Not much, just getting familiar with the instructor and classmates," Chester Lynch replied, seeming a bit preoccupied.
Just as South Grant started eating, someone called her name.
Turning around, she saw Sana Young walking over with a tray.
"South, what a coincidence," Sana Young greeted South Grant.
"Yeah, such a coincidence," South Grant said, moving some things off the chair beside her for Sana Young to sit, "Sana, join us for lunch."
"Sure," Sana Young put down her tray.
At that moment, Sana Young looked up and noticed Chester Lynch sitting next to South Grant, realizing they had been talking.
"South, is this your friend?"
"Yes, let me introduce you. This is Chester Lynch, in the same class as me and a good friend of mine." After introducing Chester Lynch, South Grant introduced Sana Young.
