239 Learning Voss's Plan & Ancestor's Schemes (Part-2)
The unborn Formless Siren really had bad luck.
She wasn’t even born, yet a psychopathic bastard was already obsessed with her and planning to use her as a birthing machine in order to eat alive the children she births for him to upgrade his bloodline.
If Roy were in her shoes, he, too, wouldn’t have dared to hatch!
The huge egg was her lifeline.
Coming out of it meant getting raped and abused by a monster forever until her death.
“Are all the gods blind to this pervert? Why has no one struck him down?” Roy questioned his ancestor.
He was disgusted with Voss to end. He had a seriously disturbing side to him. He was extremely desperate and equally vile as he wanted to father kids for the sole reason of consuming them. It’s not wrong to say that he was seriously sick in the head and worse than a bastard. Such scum belongs in the fiery pit of hell, not the realm of the living.
Roy thought that Voss needed to be urgently killed.
Someone had to step up and put an end to him, but he knew that it wasn’t going to be easy as Voss had such a powerful soul that even the Master of Six Shadow, the legendary hero Ninam, failed to strike him dead and could only regretfully seal him in the Ashen Land.
Voss’s soul was immortal.
It couldn’t be destroyed!
However, surely there would be a way to kill him?
“Gods don’t take action unless it benefits them, and they would never help those who they hate.”
Yulran Tragon’s words were like a bolt of lightning that struck Roy, shaking his heart.
It wasn’t a good thing to be hated by Gods.
Life becomes hard if you are.
Roy guessed that the formless siren was playing life on hell mode because she was hated by the Gods.
“Are you saying formless sirens are hated by Gods?”
Roy saw the dragon flapping his wings, flying and sitting close to the egg.
Yulran Tragon patted her like she was his granddaughter, pitying her.
“The gods high above dislike them and also us Crimson Dragons. As for why they hate us so much, that’s something you are too weak to know.”
Some secrets should only be known by the truly strong, and this was one of them.
Thus, Yulran decided not to tell why Gods hated them to Roy.
“How did you find out everything about Voss’s plans, and if she is so valuable to him, why hadn’t he taken her away?”
Roy’s eyes brimming with curiosity focused on him. Just how did this little ancestor get his tiny claws on such valuable information? Why were all of Voss’s secrets laid bare to him?! And why had Voss not relocated the Egg even though she was so precious to him that he would come here every month to talk to her?
Yulran Tragon flashed him a cunning smile and spoke.
“Voss doesn’t know, but I have planted a few rank-5 Armored Soul Warriors beside him. He thinks he has them under his control and in the palm of his hands. He believes that they were bewitched by him and that they serve him wholeheartedly. But the truth is, they actually work for me. Don’t forget; I am the one who breathed life into them.”
Yulran Tragon revealed to Roy a bone-chilling truth, “They exist because of me. Once my heart stops beating, they, too, will cease to exist, immediately turning to dust. The rank-4 to rank-6 understand that, but not the lesser ones. Voss might be able to sway the weak spirits who failed to comprehend their reality, but the truly strong, who know their only purpose is to serve me and me alone until I decide otherwise, would always remain loyal to me, their God!”
Arrogance was brimming, almost seeping out of Yulran’s eyes.
He wasn’t a mere Crimson Dragon.
He was the Head of the Four Celestial Clans that used to rule the Flying Empire!
It’s just that disaster struck, and he was forced to become homeless.
Still, he was on a level where he could create living beings with his breath, and if one day he were to perish, all such beings would also die with him.
He wasn’t only their creator but also what was keeping them alive.
Just like how a human can’t exist without oxygen, armored spirits can’t exist without Yulran.
“One of them fooled Voss into believing the egg shouldn’t be moved before she hatches, or else she would crumble apart.” Yulran Tragon clarified to Roy. “That’s why this egg is still here.”
Yulran was certain that Voss didn’t know about his existence.
According to him, Voss had no clue that the four rank-4 to rank-6 spirits around him were actually spying on him.
Voss was too obsessed with her, and thus, the second he heard that moving the egg would put her life at risk, he immediately gave up the idea.
“So he can be fooled too. Guess he’s not god-like after all.” Roy said.
“True. Compared to me, who can create life, he’s still too lacking. But you are not his match.” Yulran boosted, praising himself shame shamelessly.
Roy’s eyes narrowed, “How strong is he?”
“Very strong.” Yulran replied, “After you reach the Grandmaster Stage and fuse the special characteristics of your class weapon with your Force, you might stand a chance against him. Before then, it would be the height of folly if you challenged or engaged him in a fight. He will crush you like an ant.”
Roy chuckled, taking a step back before looking him in the eyes confidently.
“What’s so funny?”
“Have you not heard? It’s never too late for a gentleman to take his revenge. He had me hunted down but failed. But he did kill my brethren. When I am capable of preying on him, I will naturally respond to him like a gentleman and hunt him down across the Ashen Land! And believe me, there has never been a hunt that I failed, and I am planning to keep it that way.” Roy’s eyes burned with conviction.
Voss was completely unaware that a draconian beast in human flesh had targeted him.
And this might very well become the reason for his doom!
