The intensity with which Aydin’s magic spell model was shining in his magic sea increased by several times, and a wonderful eye-catching glow crept out of his body, causing his chest and torso to glow blue.
Rays of a similar color could also be seen coming out of his collar and brightening his face.
“Eh, what’s happening to him? Why is he glowing blue like an alien?”
Maya saw his upper body glowing blue through his sleeveless white shirt and wondered why he was releasing such a shine.
“It’s hot!”
Suddenly, Aydin started sweating profusely as his body heated well above room temperature.
Droplets of sweat oozed out of his forehead and pores.
Quickly, his back was drenched in sweat.
Sweat puddles also formed on his shirt.
The glow started to die down an instant later, and Aydin felt as if he was being poked by the thin and heated tips of slender needles.
“It hurts. Sister, help me!”
“What’s wrong? What should I do to help you?”
Hearing his call for help, Maya stepped toward him in a hurry.
“Swoosh!”
Just then, his temperature decreased as the heat wrecking havoc within him gushed out and radiated off his body, warming up the surrounding.
Maya could feel the heat radiating off of him, and her eyes widened.
“Bam!”
The sound of a heavy object falling on the ground rang out from within Aydin; then, with him as the center, gales made of hot wind gushed out like waves, moving around Maya and striking nearby books, tables, and sofas, blowing them into the wall.
Cracks appeared on the wall as different objects were embedded in it. The round table shattered because of the crash into the wall. Every item made of glass or similar material in the living room underwent the same experience as the table.
“Thud!”
The paintings hanging on the walls dropped to their doom.
The living room turned into a mess.
Aydin, unaware of it all, smiled, his eyes still closed.
“How can you still smile after creating such a mess?” Maya questioned him.
Aydin opened his eyes.
The mess of a room was revealed to his eyes.
“It’s really a mess. This might piss off Lord Arlo. Maybe he won’t be angry at me if I honestly and humbly extend an apology to him.”
He nervously chuckled and scratched the back of his head before looking at Maya with a pleasant smile.
“I can use the spell, Duplicate! I have become a level 1 apprentice mage! That’s good news, no?” Aydin said smilingly.
Maya’s eyes widened to the size of saucers, and she said, “W-what did you say? Typically, a person needs to concentrate on maintaining the shape of their magic spell model for a whole day before it condenses and becomes a fixed part of their magic sea, allowing them to manifest its effect in reality. How come you learned it instantly?”
She was so shocked that her voice was shaky.
Aydin looked confused for a moment before a realization hit him hard.
“I am guessing I only need to mold my mana into the shape of a spell’s model in my magic sea to instantly learn it because of my elven bloodline,” Aydin said thoughtfully.
Hearing what he said, Maya sulked, “That same blood is coursing through me. Why am I not as talented as him?”
Right after, Aydin learned two more spells, Acid Splash and spell-boosting.
As a side effect of his actions, the living room was thoroughly destroyed.
Meanwhile, Roy could be seen inside the kitchen, sitting at the dining table.
『Ding! You’ve handed down your True Magic inheritance to Maya. You get +1 shard of the “The Lord’s Blessing” skill』
『Ding! You’ve blessed Aydin with a chance to become a Fake Mage. You get +1 shard of the skill, The Lord’s Blessing.』
『Skill name: The Lord’s Blessing』
『Allow you to bless your people. The soul refining seal and the EXP transferring array will be engraved on the souls of the blessed ones. A certain amount of the soul of every entity they kill will be absorbed and converted into EXP by the soul refining seal. Half of it would be transferred over to you by the EXP transferring array. The other half will be used to nourish the bodies and magic power of the blessed ones, and they will be strengthened』
『You need the following number of shards to create this skill: 2/20』
You can obtain shards of this skill by treating your subordinate well and leading them in battle!
‘The Lord’s blessing… it’s a splendid skill….’ Roy thought, scratching his chin.
Just a few seconds later, a shocking system notification rang in his ears, causing him to jump off his seat.
『Ding! Congratulations. Your subordinate, Aydin, has learned three level 0 spells and reached the peak of the level 1 mage apprentice. He is only one step away from becoming an Acolyte. You get +1 shard of the skill, The Lord’s Blessing』
Roy’s eyebrows raised. “He has already learned them?” He exclaimed, ‘That’s humanely impossible!”
A thoughtful look appeared on his face as he made assumptions.
“He must have a photographic memory, if not something similar, as only with such a protagonist-level cheat can he instantly memorize complex magic structures. He must also have a special Constitution that allows him to instantly condense magic spell models in his sea of magic. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be possible for him to learn three magic spells in minutes. This boy is a cheat. No wonder he was a supervillain compared to the protagonist in the novel.” Roy said wordlessly.
Because of the elven bloodline, Aydin was more special than mages, and his talent was unrivaled.
Roy would not let his potential go to waste in his hands.
Roy took out two books, placed them side by side, and used his skill points to learn them.
『-1 Skill Point.』
『Ding! Congratulation. You have learned the magic circle drawing skill!』
『There’s a 10% chance that you will be able to create a simple level-1 magic scroll.』
『-3 Skill Point 』
『Ding! Congratulations. You have learned the magic spell, Mana Thread!』
『You have 0 skill points left 』
A sharp pain stabbed Roy’s brain.
He grimaced, then a few moments later, smiled.
His comprehension of the mana thread magic spell has reached the same level as the legendary master, Ninam!
‘I can now shape my mana into threads. It can be useful in battle. I can even make my swords fly with it.’ Roy thought happily.
