Chapter 706 - 306: Curry Who Doesn’t Know What’s Good for Him (Part 4)

"Have you immigrated to the United States, buddy?"

Li Younan patiently answered these questions: "Actually, I’m just traveling to the United States..."

Meanwhile, the followers of Li Younan’s account began to surge rapidly, as if the system’s algorithm had detected his current video and started promoting it like crazy.

Not long after, Li Younan’s followers exceeded a thousand.

Looking at the continually increasing number of followers, Li Younan felt somewhat satisfied, but he was a bit disappointed that the increase in followers didn’t directly lead to an increase in Starlight Value.

So clearly, people must feel shocked or some similar emotion to increase the Starlight Value, right?

At that moment, Curry finished the first round of training and took a break.

Curry hung a towel over his head, walked over relaxedly, and greeted Li Younan proactively: "Buddy, are you livestreaming?"

Li Younan said, "Yes, I’m livestreaming."

He turned the camera towards himself and Curry, "Say ’hi’ to my friends."

For a celebrity of Curry’s status, Li Younan’s relaxed confidence made him feel comfortable instead of awkward.

He followed Li Younan’s lead, waved to the people in the livestream room, and said hi, then looked at Li Younan: "Do you know any other dunk moves?"

Li Younan said, "Of course, I know a lot of dunk moves. Do you want to see?"

Seeing Li Younan chatting with Curry, the audience in the livestream room was stunned, and comments started popping up:

"Oh my God, are they really chatting?"

"Did I see that right, is Curry asking this guy to perform a dunk?"

"This bear hunter can actually play basketball?"

Li Younan was waiting for this chance, thinking with satisfaction, Curry, oh Curry, it was worth giving you that autograph.

He patted his butt and stood up, taking advantage of Curry and his trainer’s rest to trot over to the hoop, picking up the basketball near the three-point line along the way, and with a step, lightly dunked through his legs.

And with that dunk, Li Younan instantly gained several thousand Starlight Value points.

At this point, he was very aware that this dunk had exploded in the livestream room.

Curry was very pleased with Li Younan’s performance and continued to encourage him: "Can you do an even harder dunk?"

Li Younan was slightly disappointed that this through-the-legs dunk didn’t seem to shock Curry or evoke much emotion.

Thinking about it, when Curry came in earlier, a full-circle 360-degree windmill did really amaze him, but after the initial shock, it just becomes ordinary.

Harder, huh?

Li Younan rubbed his chin: "Then maybe someone needs to cooperate."

Li Younan muttered in front of Curry for a bit, leaving the livestream spectators puzzled.

Curry first showed a hesitant expression, then seemed to agree with something, nodded, and stood under the basket.

Then, Li Younan retreated a bit, took the basketball and started sprinting.

With all his might, Li Younan launched himself into the air, flying right over Curry’s head.

You know, Curry is a basketball player with a height of 1.9 meters.

And after flying over Curry, Li Younan wasn’t done yet.

His body folded in the air, the basketball close to his chest, gliding from one side of the basket to the other.

His waist suddenly exerted force, and with a reverse hand, he dunked the ball from the opposite side of the basket.

Curry’s mouth slightly opened, hands on hips, looking at the basket with a somewhat complex expression.

He thought about it, grabbed the basketball, ran a few steps, stepped up to jump... and missed the dunk.

Meanwhile, Li Younan smoothly gained nearly ten thousand Starlight Value points with this dunk.

...

After a short break, Curry started his training again.

At this point, Li Younan no longer disturbed Curry, quietly greeted the American fans in the livestream room, indicating he was about to log off.

Checking the follower count again, with just one night of livestreaming, his followers had increased to five or six thousand.

Li Younan was very satisfied with this rate of follower growth.

After closing the livestream, Li Younan watched Curry train intensely for a while until he finished his shooting practice for the night.

Curry came over to shake hands and bumped shoulders with Li Younan.

By now he had put away his previous playful expressions and said seriously: "Nice meeting you, buddy, amazing Chinese traveler, you know so many things, it’s unbelievable."

Then, Curry followed Li Younan’s account, not just on TikTok but also on Twitter.

"I’ll watch your livestream when I have time, I mean, if I can find some time... So, what’s your next plan? Do you like it here?"

Li Younan said without hesitation: "The United States has many interesting things waiting for me to experience, many things my country can’t offer, I will take advantage of this opportunity to really enjoy it."

"Los Angeles is your first stop, where’s your next plan to go?"

"I haven’t decided yet, who knows, maybe New York, maybe Brooklyn, or maybe to Dezhou, besides California, I find Dezhou most interesting...but, I’m not done with Los Angeles yet."

After hearing Li Younan’s answer, Curry paused for a moment: "So your itinerary does not include San Francisco where the Warriors are? That’s really a shame..."

"Uh? Well, you can let me explain, what I mean is... Okay, I actually didn’t plan to go to San Francisco."
