Hmph, underestimate me, I can handle owls, you know.

"There are some situations where it would be inconvenient for me to be present. Having a female bodyguard with her would be rather beneficial."

After all, if we were to embark on a maritime voyage, we could encounter any number of scenarios overseas.

Shen Mo asked, "So, what do you mean?"

Li Younan said, "If you want to apply for this position, the key skills I evaluate might not be the planning ability, warning ability, intelligence gathering, and reconnaissance skills you’ve mentioned, but something much simpler and more straightforward... the ability to fight."

"How good are you in a fight?"

It was apparent that Shen Mo wasn’t much of a talker. She thought for a moment, then took out a video from her phone to show Li Younan.

Li Younan glanced at it, and the next moment, his expression froze for a second.

The video showed Shen Mo sparring with a male fighter, both wearing protective gear.

Shen Mo’s punches and kicks were astonishingly powerful, not at all inferior to the male fighter, and they exchanged blows equally.

Shen Mo put her phone away and said, "This is basic. You can rest assured."

Half an hour later, a girl with casual clothes, long hair, average to slightly above-average looks, and a clean appearance, with no hint of aggression, came down the stairs.

Seeing this, Li Younan’s expression was momentarily stunned.

Because this girl in front of him was Shen Mo.

Just because earlier, Li Younan casually mentioned, "Isn’t your look as a bodyguard too conspicuous?"

Shen Mo nodded, "This is just my deliberate attire for the interview. As a security personnel, I don’t usually dress like this."

Then she went to her room and changed her outfit.

I have to say, Shen Mo’s outfit was completely different from the one just seen.

Now, Shen Mo was in casual clothes, wearing a wig, looking like the girl next door. Given her age, when standing with Liu Li, they seemed like classmates.

Li Younan said, "Alright. But our boat isn’t ready yet. I’ll contact you once we’re ready to set sail."

Shen Mo nodded.

Her emotions were very stable, which was something Li Younan appreciated about her.

To be fair, apart from Shen Mo being female and thus not as strong as some male bodyguards, in other aspects, she had even more inherent advantages.

Being female, it’s easier to overlook her physical strength, providing an element of surprise advantage.

Judging by her displayed personality, she must be quite calm, with military experience, disciplined, and would be manageable on a ship.

Li Younan had been undecided about the security position, but now he immediately signed an employment agreement with Shen Mo.

It wasn’t necessary for Shen Mo to stay here idly, as she lived in Shanghai. She could come and adapt before the ship’s renovation was complete.

Although today they gained a security personnel on the boat, Liu Li was still a bit unsatisfied because today’s business hadn’t started yet.

As the saying goes, perseverance pays off. Just as the day was ending, nearing evening, another guest stepped into the guesthouse courtyard.

It was a tall and thin man with a baseball cap and a thick beard.

His posture leaned slightly forward, exuding a sense of travel. His face practically screamed, "I’m a literary youth."

He carried a somewhat worn backpack, a DSLR camera around his neck, his fingers well-defined, wearing a faded indigo-dyed cotton-linen shirt, khaki cargo pants, and worn hiking boots.

Liu Li quickly greeted him with a smile, "Did you book online?"

He shook his head, "No reservation."

His speech was slow, with a slightly husky resonance at the end.

Meanwhile, Li Younan noticed that since the tall man came in, Jing Chaoyi’s gaze had been on him, with a hint of confusion in her eyes.

Suddenly, Jing Chaoyi asked, "Huh, are you... are you Lu Ye?"

Hearing his name called, the tall man paused and looked at Jing Chaoyi, "Do you know me?"

Jing Chaoyi looked slightly surprised, "You really are Lu Ye! Are you the one who held the ’Silent Gaze’ photography exhibition in the Marais District of Paris, exhibiting in the Tibetan Area, discovered by the editor-in-chief of a French photography magazine, and collected by 12 international photographer authors?"

Lu Ye simply nodded slightly, "That’s me."

Li Younan watched this scene with great interest, so he was a somewhat famous professional photographer.

Though he possessed Level 3 photography skills, Li Younan hadn’t entered the circle for a long time.

The only competition he participated in was arranged by Jing Chaoyi, so his work wasn’t known to the industry, nor did he know other industry insiders.

Jing Chaoyi previously did a variety of work, including a long time studying photography, so she knew some well-known photographers.

However, she didn’t show much interest in Lu Ye, just mildly enthusiastic, helping him check in.

Lu Ye wasn’t much of a talker. He sneered at the commercial photography circle’s fickleness, preferring to contribute to niche magazines and reluctant to cater to big brand assignments.
