Chapter 1850 - 950: Blind Spot

Flint lowered his gaze, feeling the rumbling from the depths of the earth, then turned to the back and said, "It's your turn, Pang Lu."

"Don't resist."

A cold hand was already placed on Flint's shoulder.

The White Deer Chosen One, with their hair in a bun and dressed in sporty attire, pressed Flint with one hand and lifted the other gently. Their fingertips touched a tangled fissure...

Even such an insignificant crack was already more than enough!

In the blink of an eye, their bodies seemed to liquefy, instantly collapsing and transforming, as spiritual matter shifted, turning into a sharp stream of light, penetrating inward!

In an instant, it was as if they had traveled thousands of miles; before their eyes even blinked, they had pierced through layers of obstacles and barriers, reaching the core, and appeared out of thin air within the workshop.

Immediately after, alarms blared and the defense sequence was activated.

Tribulation Finger's transmutation.

The special rebirth form transformed oneself into pure spiritual matter, granting a qualitative change, effortlessly penetrating all barriers and overcoming all worldly obstructions as if walking on flat ground.

Yet even he was nearly exhausted, carrying the formidable weight and mass of the Ruins inside.

In that fleeting moment, Pang Lu didn't even have time to catch his breath, opening his mouth, vomiting... and pulled out a cracked Black Iron Pestle from his throat, handing it to Flint.

Flint gripped it tightly, and the earth wailed.

The infinite weight rested in his hands, and with great effort, he smashed it downwards.

Instantly, like waves crashing from the iron ground, spreading, a hair-raising hum reverberated amidst the material waves.

From inside out, it erupted!

Heavenly Artisan resounded!

Buzz—

The hum of the Black Iron Pestle quickly intensified.

Within the workshop's confines, spiritual circuits unexpectedly appeared out of nowhere in the void, resonating more and more intensely, echoing endlessly.

Finally, even the entire workshop's structure became involved in it.

With the wild escalation of resonant intensity, visible fractures swiftly emerged from every weak spot inside the workshop, cracking, and spiraling out of control...

Boom!

With the complete annihilation of that Heavenly Craft Pestle, the entire underground structure of the workshop disintegrated along with it, lost responsiveness, and completely collapsed!

And only now did the two finally exhale a long breath...

The lingering fear remained.

Though they didn't know what else might be hidden in this workshop, there was no doubt they had just tread the line between life and death.

The chilling malice that had been coiling around their perception and instinct, so bone-chilling it shook the soul, finally dissipated with the structure's breakdown.

Pang Lu wiped the sweat from his forehead, regaining composure, looked around in the flickering lights, as if in some corridor, "Where is it?"

Flint raised his eyes and looked ahead:

"Just push open the door."

At the end of the passage, a door, heavy as a barrier.

Unfortunately, for Flint, a Ruins of such pure material accumulation and thickness were completely meaningless—there was no need to gather strength, as he merely tore it asunder with his hands.

Then, the intruders held their breath.

From the gap came a wind like one from Hell. The darkness was endless, like an abyss...

It was as if the door to the Netherworld had opened, a realm not of the human world.

—It was a [Well] so deep one couldn't see the end.

An overhead bridge extended from the door, supporting a massive platform, with no other structures.

As they stepped onto the broad bridge, over two meters wide, every step felt the chill rising from the darkness below. The vast cavern echoed their footsteps, as if something unseen followed.

No, rather, as if they had intruded into some beast's lair.

Unimaginable, what was the craftsman so painstakingly hiding and disguising!

Amidst their vigilant surveying, Pang Lu's steps suddenly paused, turning sharply, body tense.

In his gaze, a wisp of light, like a firefly, rose shakily from the darkness, drifting briefly before descending onto a shard of crystal protruding from the rock wall.

Then followed a second, third, fourth...

As if awakened by the intruders, more and more tiny glows awakened in the darkness, bubbling, jumping, flying.

Dot by dot by dot.

Tiny glimmers spread like wildfire, and in an instant, illuminated everything that was originally in darkness!

From the abyss's end, boundless flashes rose like a flood.

Those were countless Spirits of Creation, stirred from slumber, surging endlessly like a sea, brilliant as an ocean!

In that moment of stunned disbelief, the two stood staring at everything in front of them, almost forgetting to breathe.

"I see..."

Beside them, the man who had been watching the scenery with them laughed, sighing in realization: "Your true target, is the Fly King?"
