Legend of Swordsman

Chapter 5975: It’s You Who Won

Chapter 5975: It’s You Who Won

Buzz!

The twin swords clashed, slicing through the fabric of reality itself.

Black and white divided the heavens and the earth, while the shadows of fists sank into the abyss.

With a single maneuver, the outcome was decided, and they parted ways.

Turning their backs to each other, they simultaneously suppressed their auras, returning to their usual state.

“I lost!”

“No, it’s you who won, you won this martial arena!” Jian Wushuang couldn’t help but chuckle. “Originally, I built this cave heaven for future cultivation under normal conditions, but it could also withstand battles against top experts at the Eighth Tribulation. I didn’t expect that blow just now to split the cave heaven in half and shatter your fist!”

Wu Zuo heard the laughter and remarked, “So I guess I did benefit, but don’t worry, when we reach the Tian Cang Eternal Realm, I’ll arrange something even better for you.”

Though he spoke confidently, his hands trembled behind his back.

That last sword strike nearly crippled his hands.

If Jian Wushuang hadn’t pulled back and slashed the Sword Qi into the cave heaven, he would have been severely injured at the very least.

Jian Wushuang’s strength remained as terrifying as ever, despite Wu Zuo having cultivated alongside Realm King for so long, he still couldn’t match Jian Wushuang.

But it was acceptable; at least now he could keep pace with Jian Wushuang.

In the past, he couldn’t even spar properly.

So, he wasn’t too disheartened.

Their sparring lasted only an hour, and during that time, they had already arrived within the borders of the Daughter Kingdom.

The pyramid floated above the Daughter Kingdom.

It attracted many onlookers, but no one could penetrate its defenses or even sense its aura.

This alarmed Queen Yun Zhi.

In recent years, the Ancient Wood Continent had been turbulent, with powerful figures from all sides passing through.

So, caution was necessary; otherwise, an accident could lead to the destruction of the Daughter Kingdom.

Even the Ancient Moon Sect couldn’t protect them.

Seeing the pyramid surprised Yun Zhi greatly.

She had never seen such a treasure before.

Just as she was curious, Jian Wushuang and Wu Zuo emerged from the pyramid.

“Queen Yun Zhi, it’s been a while!” Jian Wushuang looked at Yun Zhi, whose aura was exceptionally gentle, feeling a twinge of guilt.

He had promised to protect Jincheng, but Jincheng still fell.

Yunzhi looked up in the direction of the voice, finding Jian Wushuang, but she wasn’t overly shocked.

Empress Fengchen had already informed her of the affairs of the Infinite Great World.

Jian Wushuang entering the Wanliu Divine Tree was no secret either.

“It has been some years indeed,” Queen Yun Zhi replied with indifference.

Clearly, she held some resentment towards Jian Wushuang for failing to protect Jincheng.

She didn’t even extend an invitation for him to come in and rest.

She just stood there in the air.

Jian Wushuang felt a bit embarrassed.

Wu Zuo, unaware of the situation, felt the other party was being disrespectful and was about to show off, but Jian Wushuang stopped him.

“I’m sorry about Jincheng,” Jian Wushuang said with a slight bow, presenting two gourds. “These items are gifts from Jincheng to you and the Empress.”

These two gourds contained many treasures.

The one for Queen Yun Zhi also contained relics of Jincheng.

Since the Empress was fond of Jincheng, he decided to give it to Yun Zhi!

As for the Empress, giving her treasures was already generous enough.

Jincheng’s demise was all because of the Empress.

If she hadn’t abandoned them back then, Jincheng wouldn’t have fallen.

Upon hearing about Jincheng’s relics, Queen Yun Zhi accepted the two gourds, her expression softening a bit.

Just as she was about to invite Jian Wushuang in to rest, Jian Wushuang took the initiative to bid farewell.

The Ancient Wood Continent held little sentiment for him as he prepared to depart, fulfilling his debts of gratitude.

There was one more favor owed, to Lian Xing.

Though they had traversed the Wanliu Divine Tree together and exchanged words, the matter of repaying this favor would likely have to wait.

Now, he was accompanying Wu Zuo to the Tian Cang Eternal Realm to find two of his good friends, Dongsheng and Wanyan.

Once they were all gathered, they would soon depart.

“Let’s go,” Jian Wushuang said calmly, leading Wu Zuo back into the pyramid.

Whoosh!

The triangular pyramid shimmered and disappeared from the Ancient Wood Continent, reappearing in the void of the Ancient Moon Spacetime.

“Who was that just now?”

Wu Zuo’s curiosity piqued, prompting him to inquire incessantly.

Jian Wushuang chuckled self-deprecatingly. “Someone who has shown me kindness.”

He didn’t elaborate further, steering the conversation toward Dongsheng and Wanyan

instead.

Originally, they were supposed to first seek out the Tongtian Buddha. However, complications arose with Dongsheng and Wanyan, necessitating their immediate journey to the Tian Cang Eternal Realm to address matters and repair the pyramid along the way.

At their current pace, the unrepaired sections of the pyramid would soon catch up with their universe-crossing travels, and they could enjoy their journey without worrying about

navigation.

For several days, they indulged in food and drink within the pyramid’s confines, until they departed the Ancient Moon Spacetime and entered the desolate wasteland, the largest

territory in the Northern Spacetime.

There, without the presence of the River of Time, it was barren and desolate, devoid of life save for some cold stones drifting aimlessly in the void.

The Ancient Moon Spacetime was relatively close to the Tian Cang Eternal Realm, requiring

only a few months of travel.

However, the journey through the desolation was the most tedious.

Ordinary Tribulation realm experts would need epochs to traverse this area solely by flight, but they, with their speed, outpaced even those of the Eighth Tribulation.

In the entire Northern Spacetime, perhaps fewer than ten individuals could match the speed

of their pyramid.

Even the notorious bandits who preyed on travelers in the wasteland dared not draw their attention, knowing they possessed a formidable flying treasure.

After months of monotonous flight, they finally arrived at the Tian Cang Eternal Realm.

The Ancient Moon Spacetime was opened by the Celestial Maiden, the first Universe Master of the Ninth Tribulation, who transformed her own Origin Universe into one of the streams of

the River of Time.

However, the Tian Cang Eternal Realm had a different Origin Source.

It evolved from the oldest tributary, bolstered and stabilized by an ancient existence,

becoming a vast and enduring realm that would never perish.

The realm harbored many powerful beings, steadily growing stronger unlike the practitioners

of the Ancient Moon Spacetime, who weakened as they became more entwined with the

Celestial Maiden.

With the disappearance of the Celestial Maiden, the foundation of the Ancient Moon Spacetime once again waned, saved only by the emergence of the God of Life.

This stark contrast highlighted the disparity between the two realms.

Tian Cang!

Named after an ancient existence, boasted a complex web of powers within its Tian Cang

Eternal Realm, lacking the unity seen in the Ancient Moon Spacetime.

At least, on the surface, the Ancient Moon Divine Sect appeared to unify the Ancient Moon Spacetime, with the eight-star sects reigning over the Nine Heavens and Ten Lands.

However, the Tian Cang Eternal Realm did not follow suit.

The ancient powerhouse, “Tian Cang”, possessed the strength to unite and suppress all forces

within the Tian Cang Eternal Realm.
