Legacy of the Void Fleet
Chapter 519: Ch
So not only were these powers, which belonged to the Order faction of the galaxy, not as good as they portrayed themselves to be, they were, in fact, outright evil and demonic.
And not only that, it was also revealed that the White Angel Theocracy was never what they claimed to be. In fact, they were merely a piece of pawns laid out by an outer race and had always been a part of them. They had been steadily eroding the White Sea Galactic Domain, along with several other domains.
All of this left the netizens not only rooted to the ground in shock, but also trembling in fear.
The netizens stared at these dirty, horrendous secrets of the Tier 3 powers, whom they had always thought of and treated in good faith, giving them their trust. And now they were learning that their own leaders were not as kind and good as they had appeared.
While everyone knew there were dark boundaries within every galactic civilization, they never knew that there were no such dark boundaries here. The whole land was dark.
Following that came a wave of fear that chilled the hearts of every netizen when they realized that, cumulatively, these Tier 3 powers had slaughtered more innocents across the galaxy over millions of years than all the catastrophes caused by Outer Race invasions combined during the same time frame.
"Damn you, White Holy Angels! No, they are no angels! Heck, they are all Outer Race pawns who are using the shell of holy angels for their own agendas. How could this have been hidden from us for such a long time? Why didn’t we get even a whiff of it?"
"Who is more cruel and evil? The Outer Gods and beasts? Or these Tier 3 powers? Look at the horrendous acts they have committed. I can’t even watch them properly; they are so horrendous. How can they do this?"
"The White Wolf Theocracy, which I always thought was a cultist power, isn’t that at all. Instead, it was the Blood Moon Empire! Yet I fell for the Blood Moon Empire’s trick and treated the other side as the enemy. I feel so bad right now."
"Just how many powers have become this corrupt? Some are even pawns of the Outer Gods and Outer Beast races."
As soon as the netizens burst forth and let out all their anger, those few who had been hidden in the dark began making their own moves, taking full advantage of this situation.
In an unknown space, multiple holographic screens floated around. On them were displayed the chaotic scenes of the Celestial Net and archives leaked by anonymous parties. The details within them exposed the atrocities committed by over a dozen Tier 3 powers against lower-tier civilizations, and the pristine facade they had rigorously maintained about their hegemony was crushed in a matter of minutes.
The Aurelian Galactic Domain, home to the "Holy Angel Race," was one of those to suffer the worst. The reverse they had gathered through their so-called benevolent nature was also completely exposed. Their holy nature was built upon the bodies and bones of countless innocent lives.
Along with them, the Blood Moon Empire also stood exposed. Their systematic wipeout of eighty-four Tier 2 and even a Nansen civilization was known, all supposedly done under the guise of eliminating evil. But the true purpose had always been the resource-rich worlds of these eighty-plus powers.
The entire Galactic Net exposed their praises, revealing that their so-called prosperity had been forged through the harvesting of independent civilizations.
"Huh... finally, everything is out in the open. The past of these civilizations, the darkness they buried for so long, has finally been laid bare."
The person standing behind the operator murmured before speaking again.
Krynn, the senior member of the Red Dusk Organization, stared at the countless screens.
An organization that had been fighting multiple Tier 3 powers from the darkness without ever stopping.
"Looks like our chance is here."
He slowly narrowed his eyes. "Gather our people. Manipulate the Galactic Net and guide the people toward our dedicated agendas. We must take advantage of this opportunity to bite off a piece of the power held by these Tier 3 powers."
A faint smile appeared on his face. "It’s time for us to come out into the open."
His voice became cold. "It’s time for the reckoning to begin."
"Prepare the fleets. We shall move for the Sun Burn Federation. We shall take down their Sun Burn Stellar Region at once."
"Deploy our propaganda teams. Let the people of the Sun Burn Stellar Region know that the time has come for them to rise up and break free from the oppression of the Sun Burn Federation once and for all. It’s time for them to welcome a new dawn. A new beginning awaits them on the other side."
"For Red Dawn!" he shouted.
"For Red Dawn!" the others followed.
"For Red Dawn!"
"For Red Dawn!"
Yet, as an ancient organization prepared to come out into the open during this chaos, in another corner of the galaxy, the Outer Gods and beasts had also begun to pay attention to the matter.
Within the areas beyond their rules, their gazes slowly began to turn toward the galaxy.
The Kythari Consortium, an extra-universal predatory race that had drifted through the boundless chaos before entering the universe and settling in the Milky Way, guiding other Outer Races here, waging wars, capturing territories, and slaughtering the people of the other side, had also begun making their own moves after remaining calm for hundreds of thousands of years.
"The natives of this galaxy have gone completely blind. Their core worlds are unstable, and their people have lost their faith in those ruling over them," whispered one of the sovereigns of Kythari Prime.
"Deploy the sleeper cells within the borders of the native civilizations. Activate the pawns planted by us within the Holy Angel Theocracy and the Dark Trenchers Organization in the Holy Galactic Domain."
"Let them fuel the chaos further and prepare to welcome us."
"Deploy the fleets around the Holy Galactic Domain. Surround it completely."
The sovereign’s voice became cold. "When the time comes, we shall devour the entire Galactic Domain whole."
Meanwhile, in another part of the galaxy, another Outer Race was madly slaughtering one star system after another without any stop. One civilization after another was falling at their hands, yet the galaxy remained unaware of the incoming two-way danger.
And the Galactic Net kept fermenting.
Meanwhile, far away from all this, yet still aware of what was happening across the galaxy and on the Galactic Net—
BANG! CRACK! CRACK! KABOOM!
The Star Emperor continuously smashed things around here and there, completely out of fury and madness.
"Damn it! Damnit! Who the hell was the one who pushed our secrets out?" he roared as he glared at the few people standing inside the half-ruined chambers.
They trembled at his roar.
"We... we don’t know yet, Your Majesty," one of them said.
"Please calm down, Your Majesty. Please, calm down," another tried to persuade the Star Emperor.
"Shut the hell up, you!" But it had the opposite effect on the Star Emperor. Not only did he fail to calm down, but he became even more furious. "Hahahah! Calm down? Do you think I can calm down at this point? Tell me, huh?"
His voice echoed through the ruined chamber. "Not only have we lost two Tier 3 powers along with many more Tier 2 powers, but now our entire empire has lost its face because the events of the past have come out into the open!"
The Star Emperor laughed in anger as he spoke. "Tell me, my dear minister, how the hell did these things even come out? Didn’t I leave these matters in your hands a long time ago, if I remember correctly?"
"At that time, you reported that not a single bird would ever hear about this. And now?"
His expression twisted with rage. "Everything has come out into the open, in such detail that one can’t even refute it!"
He slammed his fist down again. "Tell me! How did this happen?"
"W-We don’t know, Emperor. How did this even happen? We meticulously did the job. We removed everyone who should have otherwise known about it, going as far as killing the people involved in those events, leaving only us and a few important people to know about it," said one minister in a voice filled with confusion.
But he dared not raise his face and speak directly to the Star Emperor.
"Haha... what? Meticulous? This is what you call meticulous?" roared the Star Emperor as he massaged his temples.
"Shadow Guards!"
He suddenly spoke those words.
WOSH!
A couple of figures appeared in the ruined chamber.
"We greet Your Majesty."
The Star Emperor nodded and immediately gave his order.
"Go. Investigate every single thing about this. Find out if we have a traitor in our midst. If there is one, report it to me immediately and capture that person if you find them."
