All of these things were terrifying and terrible, but unfortunately, there was no one to hear them, nor anyone to see that another Outer Alien Race invasion had begun.

The aliens did not hesitate and began moving in unison as they headed toward areas rich in vitality and full of life force.

Within hours, they arrived in a solar system, easily obliterating its forces. The defenders tied everything they had together to defend themselves, yet they were crushed.

Following that, the aliens descended upon the planets and their inhabitants like gods of death.

Within mere hours, dark tendrils had completely surrounded the planets. The land was drained, its water resources were emptied, its atmosphere was destroyed and polluted, and all signs of living activity vanished completely.

This apocalyptic event began to unfold across the eastern region of the Milky Way, one system after another.

This apocalyptic event began to unfold across the eastern region of the Milky Way, right near the edge of the southeastern front, one system after another.

Back at the central star system of the Bright Moon Republic, space was dead quiet.

The battle had stopped completely.

Where not too long ago stood a proud, even Argonaut Power Tier 3 country, ruling over tens of thousands of star systems—and that wasn’t even ten percent of the Bright Moon Republic’s territory—

Was now gone, just like that, at the hands of a Human Race power.

Something that the entire galaxy had looked down upon.

Now, what was left behind in the core of their domain, from where they had ruled over various races and vast territories, was nothing but shattered and broken hulls, twisted metal, and drifting chunks of debris.

Among the crumbling ruins at the edge of it were the three Super Star Destroyers, followed by nine Star Destroyers. The rest were Super Battleships, Battleships, and Battlecruisers, floating through the void of space in absolute silence.

Though one could still see ships moving between the Lance of the Void Fleet’s ships, heading toward the destroyed hulls of the Republican Radiant Fleet.

To the people of the Celestial Void Empire, the conclusion of the battle was something that was bound to happen in their favor.

And now that they had achieved their main goal, they needed to work toward solidifying their gains and establishing fortifications.

And from the look of it... It had already begun.

A few moments prior to the salvaging and fortification deployments, deep within the Lance Void Super Star Destroyer, three figures stood before each other, facing a holographic 3D projection in front of them.

They were none other than Grand Admiral Mav, clad in an exoskeleton suit of armor with his cape worn over it.

Flanking him on the right was High Admiral Ritik, wearing the same deadpan look.

On his left stood High Admiral Ritik’s twin sister, Lady Ritika, the High Admiral, wearing her usual smile that was directed toward Mav, just like every time.

"It has been accounted for, Grand Admiral Mav. Of the over two hundred thousand warships, exactly 261,539 warshipsare what we have wiped out," Ritik said, following up by tracing his finger across the holo-map and pointing at light-gold indicators that were already far away.

"The last Great Family of the Republic, along with the Republican President and other Bright Moon-based rich guilds, like the Tri-Star Guild and Enclave Guild, also escaped during the center point of the chaos."

"If I have to put it into perspective, various higher-level figures of the Bright Moon Republic have escaped, and they have already moved beyond our detection range. There’s no telling where they might have run."

Ritik sighed as he said this and sat down. "It’s all the same, no? So predictable."

Ritika remarked bluntly, with some dissatisfaction visible on her face as she threw the datapad in her hand back onto the round table.

"When these people have no chance, all they do is run away. At that time, I can’t understand where their martial pride goes."

"For God’s sake, I thought the Bright Moon Republic would be better, considering how they pride themselves on being one of the strongest mid-tier Tier 3 powers."

"But all they amount to is this?" She grunted.

"As for those aristocrats of the Bright Moon Republic, they have always been without any backbone, so them running is something I never had high expectations of."

"Anyway, let them run. Soon, our Empire and the alliance formed with various other races will start attacking the territories that fall under the Bright Moon Republic. At that time, we just have to see where they want to try hiding."

Mav added coldly. "For now, our focus should be completely on salvaging these Republican ships and starting to lay down defensive installations and fortifications across this system."

He narrowed his eyes and continued. "After all, we don’t want to leave an opening for others to exploit, right? Not doing that would be an invitation for scavengers and stupid people—much like those hidden people who watched our battle from the void space."

"Bah! What are you talking about, Grand Admiral? Those were cowards, most definitely!"

"I was completely prepared and waiting for them to make their move, only for me to supervise them. But these shits directly chose to run away."

"Were they really members of the Seven Super States of this galaxy?"

"To me, they looked more like scared cats whose tails had been stepped on. And since the enemy was strong and they couldn’t take their revenge, what did they choose to do?"

"Escape? Hilarious." Ritika laughed as she said this.

"Okay, enough with that already. Let it be."

"There will come a time when the enemy won’t run for their lives. Just wait for it patiently. You can then have all the fighting you want."

Mav rubbed his face as he spoke jokingly.

"Then I’ll take your word for it, Grand Admiral."

Ritika smiled and said no more, choosing not to continue throwing a tantrum.

"You sensed those presences as well, Grand Admiral, right?"

Ritik, unlike his wild sister, had caught the hidden meaning behind Mav’s previous words and asked.

"You’re talking about those beings hidden inside that highly advanced stealth ship in the void space, right?"

Before Mav could speak, Ritika inserted herself into the conversation.

"Hey, guys, don’t think I missed such an obvious remark. I’m not dumb, okay? I only pretended not to notice in order to hook the fish."

"Yes, about them," Mav said warily and continued.

"Let them run," he said flatly.

"After all, that was the goal. At least that way, they can run back and report to whoever their superiors are."

"And with their individual agendas and goals, along with their lax style of management, even after knowing the threat we hold over them, they still won’t put us that high on their list of priorities."

"For them, we will always be something that can be dealt with later. If they think and behave based on this, then that is exactly what we want. For now, them not actively moving against us is the most valuable thing." He said this calmly.

"Okay, let’s forget about this. Let’s focus on the things that we need to focus on now!"

"This isn’t over, after all. We might have taken down the Republican forces, but there is a whole lot of territory that needs to be conquered and brought under our control. Before that, we need to make sure everything around here is in order before the handover."

"High Admiral Ritik, you start first."

Mav looked at him and asked.

Ritik nodded his head and looked at the holo-map, which overlooked more than two hundred star systems and many habitable worlds along with resource worlds.

"I’ll start first with the Grand Fleet’s overall status and health before moving on to other things."

"During the whole operation, and specifically the last battle, many of our battlecruisers suffered varying amounts of damage. Over a hundred need to go through major overhauls, currently having suffered damage that has left them not battle-ready."

"There are even more that, while suffering lesser damage, will still need to go through a round of repairs and servicing."

"Following that, we lost 6,791 starfighters. But thanks to the teleportation module, no lives were lost. Still, that has left us with a backlog that we need to quickly fill."

"These pilots will also need to be sent onto the battlefield to regain experience and evolve their starfighters back to their original standing level."

"The situation is similar with the Mech Division. Though they have suffered fewer losses in comparison, it is still a significant number—exactly 5,109 mechs. They too will need to be replaced as soon as possible."

"Other than that, the fleet remains in 81 percent battle-ready condition."

"After a full reset and repairs, we should be back to full strength. And given that our supply ships are carrying more than sufficient resources, it won’t take more than a week for us to begin operations again."

Ritik finished his report.
