Chapter 404 Chaos And Purity
POV Vesuvius:
‘I want a more, system, take the remaining half unit of the essence of purity and use it to extract the storm affinity from a thunderstorm.’
Ding!
//
Do you want to use 10000 META points, 0.5 Essence of purity?
//
‘Of course…’
Immediately the essence soaked his body, and something within him awakened. However, it wasn’t still enough for him.
Ding!
//
You have awakened a new special affinity: Storm (Special: Thunderstorm, Snowstorm)
//
‘I want more, I want even stronger elemental powers! System, use storm and solar flare elements as a base and please take the sun thing from the wyrm, the lighting feather, and as many meta points as needed to gain the higher elemental fusion. ‘
Ding!
//
Do you want to use 10000 META points, 1 X Sun wyrm’s disk and 2 X Cherubs Lightning Feathers?
Lacking storm element material of high enough grade, do you want to compensate with 20000 meta points and all lesser storm element materials?
//
‘I just said, I want it! Do it now!’ He didn’t care about the price, he had his goal, and he wanted it.
The solar flare-like flames surrounding him immediately became wild and spread like a tornado of fiery whips slashing everywhere. They spun, twisted, and rotated in the golden storm, fitting both heaven and hell.
Ding!
//
You have awakened a new special affinity: Solar Storm, part of the storm and apocalypse domains.
//
‘No, system. I want even more, I want an even higher element. Use the body of the winter dragon to empower my cold powers.’
Ding!
//
Do you want to use 5000 META points and the body of the elder winter dragon?
//
The miniaturized body of the frost dragon dissipated into clouds of snowflakes glittering under the light blazing from the fire enveloping Vesuviuse’s body.
The snowflakes were sucked in a vortex into the dragon, and the black frost darkened even more as the light slowed down to crawl.
It was a huge price. However, Vesuvius felt it was worthwhile in his path.
Ding!
//
All your snow affinities were empowered.
//
Vesuvius didn’t stop as he looked with the madness of greed at his newly gained elemental power.
‘This is it system, but it still isn’t enough. Use one sacrificial voucher and sacrifice the chaos attribute token to extract the chaos aspect out of it.’
The small paper burst into flames that enveloped the small stone token, vanishing into chaotic orbs warping and twisting without any sense, pattern, or order.
‘Now, take my winter affinity, all its derivation like nuclear winter, then mix it with my solar storm affinity and other storm affinities.’
For a moment, the dragon froze as he hesitated over adding even more elements into the mix. Still, in the end, he just shook his head, feeling that would be too much, and continued, ‘Finally forcibly use the chaos to merge all these elements into one chaotic one.’
Ding!
//
Do you want to spend 25000 meta points and 1 X chaos orb to forcibly fuse elements?
//
Chaos and order were the perfect glue to forcibly connect stuff and elements. Together with the purity aspect that could bring true meaning behind anything, they were one of the rarest and, at the same time, most important materials.
‘This for what I was saving that chaos token, it was the best way to merge elements together.’
Instantly the lightning, solar flares, and pitch-black frosty ice howled with winds and clouds of radioactive ash mixing together.
‘Haha, what is frostfire when compared to this? This is I believe so destructive even I would suffer when hit by it.’
Vesuvius looked flabbergasted; his mind was lost in thought as he watched the utter blackness of the near-absolute zero cold flames and the unbelievably energetic bright orange solar flares mix and intervene together.
The cold and darkness pushed against the heat and light in their opposition.
There was a wild and chaotic reaction as all the elements fought for dominance; only the dragon’s will and domain barely kept them together.
Ding!
//
An unstable element, additional 15000 meta points are needed to stabilize it.

‘Ohhh, no, this might have been a bad idea.’ The dragon regretted his impulsiveness for a moment, but he still nodded.
The next moment a new force spread from both his body and soul and stilled the storm, bounding it and connecting together.
Ding!
//
Found common, interconnecting elements: Storm, Apocalypse
You have awakened an ultimate affinity: Apocalyptic Storm.
//
With satisfaction, Vesuvius finally calmed down and breathed out in relief. His mind was spinning as if he just went through a rollercoaster.
‘I have done it. It cost me a lot, but I took one step closer to obtaining the true power of apocalypse.’
Vesuvius quietly admired the solar-flare-like tongues of black frost, golden solar corona, and lightning, all wildly spinning and blazing around him.
It was not only an offensive weapon, but also a defence as everything that would want to reach his body would have to get through the field of destruction, sealing him from the outer world.
With satisfaction, the dragon’s mind moved and unlocked upgrades from the list one by one while still absently gazing at the powerful element.
Ding!
//
5000 META points and 1 X Cherubs Lightning Feathers –> Supercharged breath Railgun and needed throat, skull, and skeleton adaptations
1000 META points, 10 X any elemental cores –> Empowered breath glands
2000 META points, 1 X Core from the metal colossus –> Reinforced and metalized skeleton
1000 META points –> Crystalised face shield
4000 META points –>1 X Propulsed Wings
//
The dragon’s body was no longer the same, its entire skeleton growing thicker and denser. Each bone glinted with dark metal with a red-gold gleam.
A mask of pitch-black crystal with gold embedded within it protected his head and faced pulsing with energy flowing through it.
His entire long neck glowed and crackled with electricity. His breath glands were moved deeper down his throat to the base of his long neck, with complex metal rail-like protrusion climbing up it.
His entire neck was now like a railgun that quickly accelerated any and all of his breath attacks into a breathtaking speed.
The skeleton of his neck and skull grew thicker to survive and resist the impact when the breath would reach its top and get redirected into his maw.
Even his breath glands were enlargened to produce enough to support his increased breath flow.
His wings grew larger with the destructive apocalyptic storm surging like fire from jet engines.
‘This is still nothing when compared to that element. Haha, did I just spend over a hundred-thirty thousand meta points? That is madness, how high tier must be the apocalypse element to need such an insane investment? Even with it I still didn’t reach it.’
