Last Egg: Reincarnated as a Dragon in a Game

Chapter 369 Stop!

The dragon’s aura exploded with rage, and the entire tower shook as if it was going to collapse. The air turned hotter, and the stone blazed in bright yellow light, slowly melting.

‘He is the bastard that attacked my minions in a such cowardly way!’ His eyes fell upon the blurry beings, filling him with resentment.

“Aahaha, they really sent a dumb dragon! Die, you lizard!”

The tower lit up, and a large magic circuit lit up on the floor under the dragon’s feet. The dragon’s body froze as if his legs got glued to the floor. His boiling aura turned hotter and hotter with the anger.

“Just another trick of weaklings!”

The entire tower turned into a giant conduit of mana, the immense power and energy flowing and spiraling around its circular walls, making the dragon feel as if he stood in the eye of a tornado.

The dragon blinked, and all the blurry figures were gone.

In the next second, their glowing green blades descended from all directions, their green eyes piercing through the smoke, the dragon’s entire vision becoming blurry.

The runes on the dragon’s armor came to life, and energy barriers formed around the dragon’s body. The air turned colder, and mana froze, enveloping the dragon in a pristine layer of glowing glass.

In the blink of an eye, the blades struck the dragon from every direction, striking his neck, joints, and head. Glowing sparks of energy erupted into fireworks as the blades of energy collided with the energy barriers.

At once, hundreds of shockwaves passed through the dragon’s body as if he was struck hundreds of times at once. The runes and barrier brightly flashed, only a few cracks and dents forming and the shiny, black material.

“Graaaah!” The dragon’s angry growl resonated through the tower as his mana flowed through his veins into his muscles. He slowly lifted up his leg, and the circuit trapping him flickered.

Fire, frost, and lightning exploded out, the elemental wave sweeping through the circular hall. The ground and walls cracked and shattered. The remaining stone turned red from the heat, and the blurry knights vanished again.

The circuit kept flickering, all of the mana flowing into it like an unending river as it tried to stop him.

The dragon’s aura intensified even more, and his eyes shone brightly. The circuit faded and darkened with billions of tiny, branching cracks spreading through it under the influence of the dragon’s spell-disrupting aura and his sheer physical strength.

“What is this nonsense? Are you telling me that a dumb dragon can break my trap just with brute force?! Where is justice in this world?” The mana flowing through the tower multiplayer under the maddened yelling of the old man.

The blades of energy lit up within the clouds of smoke, quickly cutting toward the dragon-like glowing lines of light. Vesuvius bent his knees and strained his muscles one last time.

The circuit shattered, and the world around him spun as he shot forward, his sharp claws cutting through the air with such speed and force that it created a vacuum that explosively sucked in the surrounding air.

His claws lit up and cut straight through the blades of energy, shattering and dissipating them as if they were made of sand.

Satisfaction perpetrated through his body, his glowing in a frenzy, ‘This is it! Fight me and die!’

Suddenly the world around the dragon froze, his body suspended in the middle of his leap. Nothing moved, even the smoke becoming perfectly still and solid.

‘What is this trickery? Again mind magic?’

“Hahaha, good this is what I like! I love seeing you arrogant celestials looking like this! Lost and confused!”

A single hooded and robbed humanoid appeared right before the dragon. His eyes brightly glowing in green light under his hood. There was nothing but a blur beneath it.

The figure slowly walked towards the dragon, the crude wooden staff in his hand tapping against the floor.

Vesuvius tried to move, his muscles straining and his mana flowing, but there was no change. It was as if the outside world didn’t react to him. It was as if he was perfectly isolated from the rest of reality.

‘No, this can’t be mind magic. I am a dragon! If it was so easy for something like mind magic to incapacitate dragon we wouldn’t be apex predators!’

The man stopped only a step away from the dragon and tapped with his staff against the dragon’s knee, making a metallic clang. Vesuvius could even feel the wizard’s breath against his armor.

“Hahaha, maybe I will keep you as my trophy!”

The rage boiled and burned with such intensity within the dragon. He felt like his entire body turned into lava as he wanted to tear the trickster limb by limb. All the insults, tricks, and arrogance made the dragon see red.𝗈𝑽xt.𝐂𝑂𝓜

However, nothing happened. It was like a lagged computer; no matter what he did, nothing around him reacted. His physical and even magic efforts were fully ignored. He could even feel his domain move, but it was ignored by the world.

‘No, he is lying.’ Even though he couldn’t move, his senses still worked. He felt the man’s words lacked confidence, his breathing and heartbeat going against his words and tone.

‘His restrictive powers are truly strong… but so are my defenses. What if they simply have no means to penetrate them? This arrogance is nothing but a lie to distract me from the truth!’

The dragon didn’t know what was happening but knew how to solve it! Golden veins lit up beneath his armor, the divine energy circling through his veins with his eyes brightly shining.

The tower shook and cracked, turning hotter and hotter with each passing second.

‘No matter what is it, my divine flames will burn it! It doesn’t matter if is it magic or something else. As long as it exists it can burn under the influence of divine energy!’

The next second, the golden flames burst from the dragon into all directions, everything evaporating into nothingness.
