Chapter 330 The Connection With Unholy
Two weeks later:
POV ???:
The loud cheers resounded through a fully packed-in, the strong odor of alcohol drifting through the air.
All the tables were fully occupied by merry and drunk players.
At once, all of them froze and notifications flooded their vision.

Like a flood, they all dashed towards the exit, toppling tables and NPCs in their way.
They all stared at the sky as a pulsing pillar of red flames exploded, rising towards the sky with black clouds spinning around it like a tornado. The sky above the town turned red, the sun vanishing under the dark clouds.
In an instant, panic erupted, and all the NPCs ran away with screams.
“Haha, a main quest in our town? That is great!” The shouts of the players echoed through the streets as all of them turned to sprint in the direction of the red pillar.
POV The Pyromaniac:
The man stood in the large circular white chamber, flames dancing around his red robes and the stone melting under his feet. The distant sounds of fighting and explosions were resounding from the entrance.
The tall and robust white statue with angelic wings made of white polished quartz stood in the center of the chamber, and the tall white pillars supported the massive white dome.
The crooked, evil-looking letters were drawn on the ground, forming a circle around the statue. The thick, black tar-like liquid was spilled all over the statue, flowing down and forming a small puddle.
The darkness spread out of it and sucked into all the light, submerging the whole chamber in darkness and heavy silence.
Pyromaniac waited and waited with bated breath in absolute silence, ‘I need more sacrifices.’ His usual dragon-shaped mask was replaced by a plain, iron mask to hide his identity.
The dead bodies in blood-stained robes of priests and acolytes were lying all over the chamber, the thick stench of death and blood drifting through the air. The blood pooled under them, flowing out of their cut necks.
He looked one last time at the formation on the ground while glancing at the paper in his hand, ensuring there were no deviations.
‘Desecrated blood of an angel, mixed with the blood of a demon.’ It was a vile substance of evil and desecration. Its corrupting energy was sprawling through the hallways of the church, devouring and corrupting the previously holy atmosphere of the place.
His eyes moved towards the ring of magic letters, ‘The demon summoning spell, using the blood of a dragon as a catalyst.’
He finally understood the goal of the dragon, ‘He wants to summon a demon…’
No true dragons remained in the main world, but there was still one legendary dragon alive but trapped in hell.
‘The evil dragon, Satanael.’ The quest’s name, the secrecy, and the need to commit the vile act of desecrating the temple made sense now.
The summoning of powerful demons was always hard and treacherous, often requiring a large amount of evil and sacrifices to open the portal, powerful enough to open the demon world portal.
Suddenly, a loud explosion shook the temple, and guards barged into the chamber with their glowing swords of light stained in blood.
“Stop right there, heretic!” The light shone from the long swords of the guards in shiny silver armor, with long white capes flowing down their backs. The feathers of light decorating their helmets shimmered as if they were just an illusion.
“Right in time, when I needed more sacrifices!” He waved his hands, the blazing heat of the flames circling around them intensifying while bringing a huge smile to his face.
At a once massive wave of yellow, almost white flames exploded out, his fire core implanted within his chest, quickly spinning as it produced flames out of his mana.
‘All my efforts are paying off!’
The flames swept through the hallway, and the white carpet in its path evaporated in a blink of an eye. The walls, floor, and ceiling partially melted, the molten, bubbling stone dripping down from the formerly white ceiling like a rain of fire.
The flames subsided as suddenly as they came, revealing the guards trashing and rolling on the ground, their bodies burning in their melted armor.
‘This should be enough! There is no time. I need to start!’ His eyes blazed up in the flames while he recited words from the small piece of paper.
His voice boomed through the large empty spaces, echoing between its desecrated walls. The summoning circle pulsed in vile red light. The darkness deepened even more, and all the shadows have prolonged.
“?!# *!!?” The convoluted, evil word sent ripples through the still air, oversaturated with darkness.𝑜𝔳𝐋xt.𝑐𝑀
“Haha, no one can stand before me!” He felt he was already so close, ‘I will be the first to complete my quest from the dragon. I will start the mayhem!’
The clanging of swords and explosions were getting closer and closer, the shouts of his group reaching all the way to him.
“There are too many of them! The whole fucking town is attacking us!”
“Die, you heretic!” A wall burst open with a loud bang, sending pieces of white stone and rubble flying in all directions.
A group of players entered through the opening, the air around them vibrating under their immense mana. They were all tall, with various body modifications like wings, horns, and tails covering their bodies.
They were all high-level, but the pyromaniac just burst into laughter, saying, “Too late! Flames will now burn brighter!”
Crimson red fire surged from the circle and formed a spinning vortex of fire, darkness, and red light leading to eternal damnation.
