Lackey's Seducing Survival Odyssey
Chapter 1911: That’s not his goal…
The Monster Spider lunged, its ten legs striking the ground at once and launching its enormous body forward with terrifying speed. Its claws spread wide as it aimed directly for Lackey’s throat, moving with enough force to tear through flesh and bone.
Lackey’s pupils narrowed as he stepped sideways. The first claw passed inches from his face, and he twisted his torso just enough to allow the second claw to slide across his shoulder before driving his elbow downward.
BAM!
His elbow slammed into the Monster’s forelimb with a heavy impact. The force pushed the limb downward, but Lackey immediately realised something was wrong.
It barely moved.
The Monster’s body twisted unnaturally in midair, and another leg came sweeping toward his ribs. Lackey ducked as the limb grazed over the tip of his black hair, missing his head by barely an inch.
The spectators clenched their fists in disappointment, as if they hadn’t expected him to react this fast.
Lackey stepped inside the Monster’s range and drove his fist directly into the creature’s abdomen with all the force he could muster, his entire body twisting behind the strike.
BOOM!
The Monster’s body bent violently from the impact, and the crowd went silent for half a second as they watched the enormous creature stagger.
Then Lackey’s fist sank deeper.
"Ghhk!"
The creature released a distorted shriek and was pushed backward several meters before its legs finally regained their balance.
Lackey slowly lowered his fist while the spectators stared in horror, seeing the Monster step away as if it was actually scared of him. For a brief moment, nobody seemed to know what to say before someone finally shouted from the stands.
"DON’T JUST STAND THERE! KILL HIM!"
"GET THAT FUCKING MONSTER!"
"HE GOT LUCKY!"
"THAT DIDN’T EVEN HURT IT!"
The Monster slowly straightened its body as a strange liquid dripped from the corner of its mouth. Its rainbow-colored eyes remained fixed on Lackey with an eerie intensity, almost as though it was studying him.
Then all ten legs suddenly bent.
Lackey’s expression changed.
’It’s coming.’
The Monster vanished from his vision.
Lackey immediately turned, but he was already too late.
A claw struck his side.
BOOM!
His body flew across the Arena, and he hit the ground hard enough to bounce once before rolling several meters across the stone floor.
"HAHAHAHA!"
The audience erupted with laughter and excitement.
"THERE WE GO!"
"LOOK AT HIM!"
"GET UP, FILTHY OTHERWORLDER!"
"HAHAHA! I THOUGHT YOU WERE STRONG!"
"BREAK HIS BONES!"
Lackey slowly pushed himself upright with a clenched fist, his left hand moving toward his ribs as he immediately felt the damage.
At least one rib was fractured thoroughly.
Maybe two.
He looked at the blood staining his fingers before raising his eyes toward the Monster.
It was already moving again.
The Monster lunged toward him once more, its enormous body accelerating with frightening speed.
Instead of retreating, Lackey stepped forward.
The first claw came toward his chest, but Lackey tilted his body just enough that the claw passed beside him. His hand immediately caught the Monster’s claw at the wrist, and he pulled with all his strength.
The Monster’s enormous body was dragged forward by its own momentum, leaving it unable to stop its charge.
Lackey stepped beneath it and drove his shoulder directly into its centre of mass.
"FUCK IT!"
BOOM!
The Monster Spider slammed into the ground with enough force to shake the stone beneath them.
Before it could recover, Lackey grabbed one of its limbs with both hands, his muscles tightening as the veins bulged across his forearms.
The creature pulled in the opposite direction.
For a moment, neither moved.
Then the Monster’s other legs began stabbing toward Lackey furiously, each pointed limb moving with deadly speed.
His eyes widened, and he instantly released the limb before rolling sharply to the side. Three sharp-pointed legs struck the ground where his head had been, penetrating the stone with frightening ease.
If he had stayed there, his body would have been filled with holes.
He came up on one knee just as another claw came toward his face. His eyes widened as he immediately raised his left forearm to block.
CLANG!
The impact sent a shock through his entire body, forcing his feet to slide backwards a few inches across the ground.
The Monster continued attacking, using its claws like sharp legs again and again, rapidly striking from different angles without a hint of stopping.
He ducked beneath one claw, turned around another, and deflected a third with the palm of his left hand. However, the Monster’s relentless assault left almost no room for error.
Then one claw slipped through.
Slash!
Blood sprayed from his neck.
"YES!"
The spectators erupted once again.
"HE GOT CUT!"
"HAHAHA!"
"LOOK AT THAT FILTH!"
"COME ON! FINISH HIM!"
"TEAR HIS HEAD OFF!"
Lackey touched the cut on his neck and slowly looked at the blood covering his fingers. His expression remained calm for a moment before his eyes hardened.
"WHAT GOT ANGRY? AHAHA... LOOK AT HIS RABBIT FACE... HE LOOKED UTTERLY DISGUSTING!"
"YAH MAN... HE SO FILTHY!!"
Lackey glanced at them quietly before turning his attention back toward the Monster, which rushed toward him furiously with its claws raised.
The Monster opened its jaws as if it knew it was going to eat this thing before it.
Lackey moved.
He stepped directly beneath its head before its jaws could close around him. His left hand caught the lower jaw while his right hand struck upward with explosive force.
BAM!
The Monster’s head snapped back from the impact.
Before it could recover, Lackey twisted his hips and drove his knee into its abdomen.
BOOM!
The Monster staggered as its abdomen slightly wobbled, as if its insides had been violently disturbed by the impact.
Lackey followed immediately without giving it a chance to recover. His movements became a continuous chain of attacks, each strike connecting before the Monster could properly regain its balance.
A straight punch.
A hook.
An elbow.
A knee.
Each strike landed in rapid succession, hammering into the Monster’s body with brutal precision.
THUD!
BAM!
CRACK!
The Monster’s body rocked under the assault, its massive frame struggling to withstand the relentless barrage.
The crowd turned silent for a moment before their anger erupted again, their voices rising throughout the Arena.
"KILL THAT BASTARD!"
"COME ON! WE BET ON YOU!!"
"DO SOMETHING, YOU MONSTER! DON’T DIE BY THAT FILTH!!"
Yet Lackey grabbed the Monster’s head and pulled it downward before it could regain its footing.
His knee rose.
CRACK!
The creature’s head snapped backwards from the impact, and Lackey immediately released it.
He shook his hand, which was covered with the Spider Monster’s spit that had splattered from its mouth during the attack.
The Monster stumbled backwards, struggling to maintain its balance.
Lackey stood in front of it, breathing heavily as his chest rose and fell from the intense exchange.
The Monster suddenly launched itself.
Not toward him.
Toward the barrier.
Its claws easily stuck to the barrier as it moved rapidly across the surface, its ten legs crawling in complete coordination. Its body moved sideways, then upward, and then suddenly stopped against the massive wall.
Lackey’s eyes followed it carefully.
"What the...?"
The Monster remained completely still against the barrier, its rainbow-colored eyes staring directly at him from a distance.
Then its body suddenly twitched.
A thin strand of white silk shot from beneath its abdomen.
FWOOSH!
The strand struck the opposite wall with incredible speed.
The Monster pulled.
Its entire body was suddenly launched across the Arena like a living projectile, crossing the enormous distance in an instant.
"Shit!"
Lackey immediately moved out of its path.
The Monster passed above him, its claws slicing through the air where his body had been only moments earlier.
But before it could reach the opposite side, another strand shot from its abdomen and attached itself to the ceiling.
The Monster changed direction in midair.
Its body swung downward, then sideways, and then upward again, moving through the Arena with unnatural speed and precision.
Lackey’s eyes followed the shifting body, but the Monster kept changing directions faster than his eyes could properly track. Its movements became increasingly unpredictable, turning the entire Arena into a web of impossible angles and sudden attacks.
The spectators smiled again, seeing that Lackey could barely keep up with the Monster’s movements.
"LOOK AT IT!"
"HAHAHA! THAT’S IT!"
"USE THE WEB!"
"TRAP THAT FUCKING OTHERWORLDER!"
"DON’T LET HIM TOUCH YOU!"
The Monster crawled across the ceiling upside down, its ten legs moving silently as it traversed the webbing above the Arena.
Lackey slowly turned his head, carefully searching the surroundings, but he couldn’t see it anymore.
That was the problem. The Monster was moving from one web to another, swinging and jumping at such incredible speed that it almost seemed as though the light itself was being blinded by its movements, making it difficult to determine where it was.
He frowned, trying to predict where it would have gone.
Then he felt something beneath his foot.
A vibration?
His expression changed.
"Behind me."
He turned.
The Monster dropped from the web it had hidden behind, its jaws opening wide as it descended toward him.
Lackey jumped backwards.
The creature landed where he had been standing.
BOOM!
The floor cracked beneath its enormous weight.
Lackey landed several meters away, but before he could fully regain his balance, something suddenly struck his ankle.
His eyes dropped.
A thin strand of webbing had wrapped around his foot.
"What...?"
The Monster pulled.
Lackey’s body jerked forward, but he immediately planted his other foot against the ground.
His muscles tightened as he tried to move, but the web merely stretched instead of breaking apart.
The Monster pulled again.
Lackey was dragged several inches across the Arena.
"Damn it."
He grabbed the web with both hands and pulled against it, trying to tear the strand apart through sheer strength.
The strand tightened around his wrist.
The Monster had already fired another strand.
Then another.
FWOOSH!
FWOOSH!
Two webs flew toward him from different directions.
Lackey twisted his body.
One passed over his shoulder.
The second wrapped around his left arm.
The Monster pulled.
Lackey stumbled.
The crowd erupted.
"HE GOT CAUGHT!"
"YES!"
"HAHAHAHA!"
"WRAP HIM UP!"
"DON’T LET HIM ESCAPE!"
"EAT HIM!"
Lackey gritted his teeth as his expression finally became serious.
He pulled his arm violently.
The web stretched but refused to break.
The Spider Monster suddenly moved.
It sprinted sideways, firing another strand that attached itself to the Arena wall. Another attached to the floor, while another connected to the opposite barrier.
Within seconds, the Monster had moved around Lackey several times.
Every movement created another strand.
The Arena slowly began filling with webbing, with thin white threads stretching between the walls, floor, and barrier.
Lackey looked around, his expression darkening as he realised what the creature was doing.
"This thing is building a fucking nest."
The spectators began laughing.
"LOOK AT HIM!"
"HE’S TRAPPED!"
"HE CAN’T MOVE!"
"HAHAHA! WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THAT CONFIDENCE?"
"COME ON, MONSTER!"
"WRAP HIM UP!"
Beta turned worried when she saw that Lackey had been caught by the Monster, and even more so when she realised he was unable to move.
"This is why I told him to get a weapon..."
She clenched her fist. Even if she wanted to help him, she could not save him, as the barrier was strong enough to withstand even her attacks.
She gripped her hand tightly and could only pray that the god would not be killed here.
Meanwhile, the Monster Spider suddenly lunged, and its claw struck his rabbit mask.
Thud!
The mask fell down, and instantly, the people sucked in their breath as they saw his face.
Then,
"HAHAHA!!"
"HAHAHAHAA... LOOK AT HIS FUCKING FACE!!"
"OH, MY GOD!! SO UGLY! UGLIER THAN MY WIFE’S PUSSY!! HAHAHAHA!!"
Everyone laughed wickedly as they saw his half-disgusting face. Beta turned silent as she shook her head in disappointment and slight fear.
Lackey didn’t care about their laughter or mockery. He immediately stepped forward, his fist shooting toward the Monster’s head.
But the Monster didn’t take the punch.
It moved sideways as if it had learned his movements.
Its body twisted around the web attached to the wall.
Lackey’s fist passed through empty air.
The Monster pulled itself backwards.
Then another web suddenly tightened around Lackey’s waist.
His eyes widened.
"Fuck!"
The Monster pulled.
Lackey was dragged sideways.
He crashed into another web.
The silk immediately wrapped around his shoulder.
Then his other arm.
Then his chest.
The more he struggled, the tighter it became.
"HAHAHAHA!"
The crowd exploded.
"HE’S FINISHED!"
"LOOK AT HIM!"
"THE SPIDER CAUGHT HIM!"
"HAHAHA! WHAT A FUCKING IDIOT!"
"DIE!"
"DIE, OTHERWORLDER!"
"EAT HIM!"
"YOU BETTER DIE THAN HAVE THAT UGLY BITCH FACE OF YOURS!"
"YUCK!! I FEEL NAUSEATED SEEING YOUR FUCKING FACE!!"
Lackey struggled violently as the silk tightened around his torso, trapping his body more firmly with every movement.
Like a fly that had been caught in a spider’s net.
The Monster slowly crawled toward him on its nest, its eyes glowing with amusement as if it were about to enjoy a wonderful feast.
Everyone shouted and laughed as they watched Lackey’s pathetic situation. The sight almost seemed to make them happy.
Seeing him wriggling like a fish while he was about to be eaten alive... who wouldn’t want the chance to see such a wonderful thing?
"COME ON!"
"EAT HIM!"
"BITE HIM!"
"TEAR HIM APART! ESPECIALLY HIS FACE!"
Beta almost stood from her seat as she truly thought he was going to die. Just then, right as the Monster was about to part its mouth and eat him, his eyes suddenly glowed with a crimson light.
In the next second, the Spider flinched in fear as if it had sensed a deadly danger.
Its instincts screamed at it to move away from this thing as soon as possible.
But unfortunately for it, Lackey’s left-hand nails suddenly turned into claws and cut through the web that had wrapped around him.
In the next second, he bit the Spider Monster’s leg.
TTTRRRRRR!!
He tore off its leg like it was nothing.
The fluid fell down as the Monster screeched violently.
The people’s faces turned utterly horrified.
What they saw left them completely stunned. They weren’t even aware of how Lackey had escaped from the web that had wrapped around him, but seeing him bite off one of the Monster’s legs left them frozen in disbelief.
"Fuck!"
Everyone screamed, and right before their eyes, Lackey took the leg he had torn from its body and stabbed it directly into one of its rainbow-colored eyes.
"GKKK!!"
The Monster screamed as the crystal eye shattered.
Only a few eyes remained, and the creature immediately turned to run away.
But Lackey didn’t let it escape.
"Where are you running, bitch?~"
He said it in a wicked tone before catching its other leg, twisting it, and tearing it away before stabbing it into the Monster’s head again.
The Monster screeched as Lackey ruthlessly tore off one leg after another without mercy, repeatedly stabbing the severed limbs into its head again and again.
But he didn’t just kill it.
He let it run, deliberately allowing the wounded creature a chance to escape.
Like a fucking life that was desperately begging to stay alive, the Monster moved left and right with barely any eyes remaining and only a few legs left to support its enormous body.
Fluid spilled from its countless wounds as it let out a series of desperate screeches, almost as if it were asking for help, begging someone to save it from the monster that was slowly following behind it.
Lackey followed quietly, holding two of its severed limbs like swords as he walked toward it without showing even the slightest trace of mercy.
The people began to grow terrified as they watched him torture the poor Monster. The creature was no longer fighting, yet Lackey continued following it as though he wanted everyone in the Arena to understand exactly what happened when they laughed at him.
"O-Oi! What the fuck is he doing!"
"Kill him, Monster!!"
Yet the Monster had only one thing in its mind: to run away from the real monster.
It desperately dragged its damaged body across the Arena, but before it could get any farther, Lackey grabbed its remaining legs and swung its enormous body in a perfect arc.
BOOM!
The ground trembled as the Spider Monster crashed onto its back, completely unable to move as it wriggled helplessly like another insect trapped beneath someone’s foot.
Its remaining eyes watched as Lackey slowly walked closer to its body, his expression completely calm as he stared down at the creature struggling beneath him.
"Grkkk..."
It seemed as though it was begging for mercy, but Lackey’s lips curled even further upward.
That expression sent a shiver through not only the Spider Monster, but everyone present in the Arena.
Something about that smile made them realise that the Monster was no longer the terrifying creature they had been cheering for.
He stabbed its body, making sure it could not move, then tore away the rest of its limbs and stabbed them into the ground around its body, pinning it down perfectly like an artist pinning down their specimen.
Once he was certain it could no longer escape, Lackey slowly raised his head.
His gaze swept across the silent Arena.
His cold, ice-blue eyes sent shivers through everyone’s spine, and although they didn’t know why, one by one, they lowered their heads in slight fear.
Then, right before their eyes, he punched the Spider’s enormous abdomen.
It wasn’t a strong punch.
But he kept punching again and again while looking around, as if he were punching every single one of those spectators rather than the creature beneath his fists.
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
BAM!
With every punch, the Monster screeched in pain as it desperately wriggled from its pinned-down position, but no matter how hard it struggled, it couldn’t move.
Lackey simply kept punching it like a sandbag, his expression remaining completely indifferent as the sounds of his fists echoed throughout the Arena.
The Main Arena fell into utter silence as everyone watched. The Monster’s painful screams echoed throughout the enormous colosseum, sounding as if it desperately wanted to die, yet Lackey refused to give it the final blow.
He simply continued the merciless attack, making every second last longer than the previous one.
Very soon, the once hard and sturdy abdomen began to lose its shape beneath his fists, becoming soft and mushy under the relentless assault.
The Spider Monster was barely alive, with only a faint whimper remaining in its throat. Its body barely moved anymore, yet Lackey still stood over it.
Never in their lives had these people felt pity for a monster.
Yet now, they couldn’t look away.
Lackey grabbed its head, and with one final pull, he ripped the Monster away from the limbs that had pinned it down before throwing it toward the spectators.
The people’s eyes widened as they instinctively covered themselves in fear, almost forgetting about the barrier separating them from the Arena.
SPLASH!!
When the Monster hit the barrier, its entire body splattered against it like a tomato.
Everyone covered their mouths in horror, almost vomiting as they watched the gruesome remains sliding down the barrier. The laughter that had filled the Arena only moments ago had completely vanished.
And then they saw him.
The real monster.
With cold, ice-blue eyes, Lackey looked directly at them with a menacing expression that sent shivers running down everyone’s spine.
He coldly stared at every single one of them, one after another, allowing his gaze to linger just long enough for them to understand that he had heard every word they had shouted.
Nobody dared to laugh anymore.
Usually, the people would either shout or boo after a match, celebrating the winner or expressing their disappointment.
But now, all that remained was dead silence.
And that was exactly what he wanted.
Meanwhile, Beta stared at his cold, emotionless eyes. She remained completely still in her seat, watching him as the realisation slowly settled within her mind.
Lackey didn’t come here to win the Tournament.
"That’s not his goal... He wanted a stage where the Empire could see him," she mumbled with a thoughtful expression.
Meanwhile, sitting inside a luxurious room, a long black-haired beauty stared at the visuals of Lackey. The scene from the Arena played clearly before her as she watched him standing among the remains of the Monster.
She remained silent for a moment, staring blankly at him before her lips slowly curled upward.
"Not bad..." she mumbled before a dangerous glint passed through her golden eyes.
