Chapter 1292: Origin Cards?
Chapter 1292: Origin Cards?
Call it Origin? Why?
Because the current situation had changed… Before, only Arcane was present, but now both Arcane and Clarion energy were woven together. If one called upon Arcane alone, the individual cards would no longer respond. And so… Origin became the word most often spoken in ancient times, for it acknowledged the fusion of both Arcane and Clarion, a name that bound them into one.
That’s why, when Aether noticed Aqualina’s card refusing to emerge, he understood it had definitely changed as well… Origin might indeed be the right word.
Still, his curiosity sharpened the moment he saw Aqualina staring at her card with an expression almost frozen in disbelief.
“Was it changed too much, or what?” he asked with confusion, his brows drawing together. Yet Aqualina continued to stare at the card, silent and unresponsive, as if no sound in the world could pierce the haze that bound her eyes to its surface.
Sandra and Celestia, unsettled by her silence, frowned and leaned closer. Their eyes widened in unison, a sharp breath catching between them. “Huh?”
Aether felt unease stir in his chest. He frowned, then leaned forward himself, needing to see what could make Aqualina so stricken. And then he saw it…
A card, utterly unlike what it had been before.
Yes, it still carried the rainbow shimmer as before, but something vital was gone.
No small and big points shimmering stars glimmered across its surface. Instead, it had transformed into something entirely new.
Upon it was imprinted the image of a thin blue sword, delicate yet sharp, its blade swirling with blue sparkles.
The weapon shimmered with ocean-born energy, a restless tide captured in steel. Even though it was only a card, it radiated a presence alive and undeniable, as though something conscious resided within, And below that…

And on the top right corner of the rectangular card… ’0’ was indicated. At the same time, the top left corner bore four marks… ⭐⭐⭐⭐, not entirely stars but… kind of printed on it, unlike before.

Aether blinked in sheer surprise, “What in the…?” His face twisted into a mix of confusion and awe. The card had literally changed—transfigured before their very eyes.
But for what reason?
He could not understand it at all. And what unsettled him further was how the attributes themselves seemed altered, as though reality had rewritten the rules surrounding her.
He turned toward her, “Call your log… check it against the last one.”
She called her Log and showed it to everyone,

Aether was utterly shocked when his eyes fell on one title in particular… ’Hygienic Mouth.’
What the heck?
Yes, he was far more shaken by that single ridiculous phrase than by all the other overwhelming revelations combined. His lips twitched, and a sly, dangerous look crept across his face as his gaze drifted toward Aqualina’s lips.
Now he understood why his other girls often hesitated to share…. This damn log revealed everything, even the most private truths!
Aqualina blushed furiously. “T-This is not what you think it is, believe me!” Her fists clenched as though she could crush the shame away.
She had been carefully hiding this ever since the day it appeared… but gods, she had forgotten it still lingered there!!
Both Sandra and Celestia exchanged looks, their expressions sharp with amusement, lips curving into slight smirks that made Aqualina’s heart pound even harder.
Her face turned beet red as she shouted, “Don’t act like I’m the only one who has those… let me see yours too!!” Her finger shot out, catching her mother first.
Of course, Sandra had no intention of showing it so openly. After her union with Aether… she had gained more than a few strange, shameless titles of her own.
No way in hell was she going to display them here.
“MOM! THIS IS BETRAYAL!!” Aqualina’s horrified cry tore out of her throat, her face twisting as if struck.
Sandra simply shrugged, cool and unbothered. “I didn’t ask, did I?” she replied, smirking with the sly composure of someone who knew exactly how to torment her daughter.
Aqualina’s expression darkened, her lips trembling. Something inside her clicked with dreadful realisation, “D-Don’t tell me this is why you guys didn’t show it to him?”
Both Celestia and Sandra turned their eyes aside at the same instant, avoiding her gaze.
“Arrh!!” Aqualina almost broke into tears, her voice cracking in despair. Her pride shattered—until Aether leaned in suddenly, closing the distance and pressing his lips to hers.
His whisper curled against her mouth like fire, “Kisser? Ah…” His words mocked yet caressed, dripping with heat.
Her entire face ignited crimson, her body stiffening under his touch. “I… I am not~hmm~” she tried to deny, voice trembling, but before she could push the words out fully, his mouth captured hers again.
This time the kiss was devious, hungrier. He bit at her lips with wicked intent, drawing out a muffled gasp, then deepened the kiss, his tongue sliding in, exploring everything inside her mouth with shameless dominance.
“Ha… Ha…”
Aqualina panted heavily in the arms of Aether, her chest rising and falling as if she had been drained of all strength. Her legs trembled, weak and unsteady, unable to bear her weight. Just from a kiss, she had lost her ability to move… this man was becoming dangerous with the kind of pleasure he wielded.
Of course he would. After all, he had learned many things from succubi… and if a man could manage to make a succubus climax, satisfy her until she shivered without exhausting himself, that was already a feat few could claim.
That alone was a major victory—proof that he could make any woman succumb to his pleasure.
He had grown dangerously skilled at dealing with a woman’s body… though not yet the heart, which he was still learning. And that, for him, seemed more of a curse and pain in the ass than anything else.
Anyway, holding the trembling Aqualina tight in his arms, he turned his gaze toward Sandra and Celestia, who were clearly pouting in unison, jealousy simmering across their faces.
“The Log has not changed except that the attributes and levels are locked now…” Aether muttered with a frown.
Why would their levels be locked? It reminded him too much of when he himself had been sealed before.
Sandra nodded, staring at her own unseen log. Of course, she didn’t dare reveal it to the others. “Yes, mine too. But since I don’t have attributes or levels, all that appears is a locked symbol, nothing else.”
“Mine too,” Celestia added with a nod.
Aqualina, who was still dazed, her lips twitching as colour returned to her cheeks, caught sight of both of them guarding their secrets so closely… while she had been laid bare to everyone.
She would find a way to make them surrender… later.
Aether frowned deeper.
Why were theirs locked as well, even though they had never possessed attributes or levels since their cards had changed—was it something connected to his intervention?
Or something else entirely?
“Hmm… From these short forms, we can tell: Strength, Agility, Intelligence, and Charm… But what about this SIN?” His brows furrowed further with confusion. Everyone shifted uneasily, wondering the same thing.
The other attributes were easy enough to understand, but this one… this one was a mystery.
“Maybe… magic ability?” Celestia suggested after a pause. But Sandra immediately shook her head.
“If it were so, then it would be MAG or MGC… something clear like that. But it’s written as SIN. It must be something different.”
“Or… maybe everything is different now,” Aqualina added softly, as though voicing a hidden fear.
“Maybe every rule we knew is no longer the same.”
There was a possibility, wasn’t there?
Aether hummed, expression thoughtful, his eyes distant. They didn’t have enough information about this.
“What about your cards… call them,” Aether finally said. They exchanged glances, then nodded.
“Origin.”
“Origin.”
Their voices echoed together, but… There was no response.
Everyone frowned. Sandra and Celestia looked at each other before Sandra muttering,
“Hmm… Let’s call as usual then.”
Celestia nodded and called,
“Aether.”
“Aether.”
Suddenly, their chests glowed—bright, pulsing light spilling out before two cards slipped free, emerging from within them. The cards hovered in the air before their eyes, drifting with an otherworldly hum.
Aether frowned deeply. The cards were responding to their words directed at him… still? Why?
Curiosity pulled him closer. Still holding the trembling Aqualina in his arms, he leaned forward to study both Celestia’s and Sandra’s new cards.
Unlike before, when their cards had appeared blank, this time words and images shimmered upon their surfaces.
The first card shimmered with a pure, misty purple glow. Upon it, imprinted as if born of storm and tide, was the picture of a thin blue knife. Its blade swirled with storm winds, lightning-like streaks dancing around it, the entire weapon shimmering with the restless blue of an endless ocean.
Even though it was just a card, it radiated a living presence, as if the blade was trapped inside a swirling storm. And below that…

Aqualina raised her eyebrows at once, shock flickering across her face as she realized her mother’s values were greater than her own… most of them, in fact.
Sandra’s lips curved into a smug expression, quiet pride glimmering in her eyes.
Aqualina’s lips twitched, unable to hold back her biting remark. “What do you expect from an old fossil?”
Sandra’s lips twitched sharply in return, the faintest crack in her composure.
Ignoring their banter, Aether turned his attention to Celestia’s card.
Hers was different… misty brown tinted with faint streaks of purple, the surface breathing shadows. And there, imprinted across it, was the image of a black silhouette—her own feminine outline, carved in alluring curves. From the figure curled black smoke, rising like living whispers, forever shifting and dispersing as if secrets were being carried away.

Both Aqualina and Sandra’s lips twitched when they saw it, disbelief flashing briefly across their faces.
Celestia blinked in mild surprise as her eyes ran across the numbers. Her agility and charm were higher than the others—high enough to stand out sharply. A faint smile tugged at her lips, but confusion followed quickly after.
Well… if it was agility and charm, it made sense, right?
But what was with that strange title?
“Collector of Silent Whispers?” she murmured.
