Chapter 115: The Earth Scroll

The rich aroma of grilled fish drifted through the Forest of Death from the riverside.

A team of Rain Shinobi followed the smell and arrived nearby.

They crouched behind a patch of grass less than a hundred meters away, observing Naruto and the others.

One of the Rain Shinobi couldn’t help sneering.

"Tch. These rookies are treating the exam like a picnic."

Another Rain Shinobi also wore a mocking expression.

"They just graduated from the Academy, right?

"They still think they’re playing ninja games!

"Our luck is pretty good.

"If they have a Heaven Scroll, we’ll be able to secure our advancement ahead of time."

The last Rain Shinobi was more cautious and frowned.

"Don’t let your guard down. This could be a trap."

The first two Rain Shinobi turned around and looked at him with disdain.

The two instinctively covered their necks and stared at Sasuke, who had already retreated several meters away, their eyes filled with disbelief.

"I killed the three Rain Shinobi."

Naruto shrugged indifferently.

"You killed them, then you killed them. You didn’t use the Sharingan, right?"

Sasuke said disdainfully,

"They weren’t worthy of making me use the Sharingan."

"Then that’s fine."

Naruto didn’t pay much attention to it.

This was a Chunin Exam, after all.

It was impossible for nobody to die.

As long as they didn’t expose anything problematic, that was enough.

Besides, Konoha probably wouldn’t go digging through the memories of shinobi from other villages.

Why were they coming?

Sasuke also turned toward the west in confusion.

Karin sensed that Naruto was just ahead.

"Suigetsu, go ahead. They’re right up ahead.

"This is your chance to show off."

"They probably discovered our trail and followed us. The two teams might be genin from the same village."

Karin had just revealed the locations of all the teams in the Forest of Death.

There were two teams not far from them whose positions were very close together.

However, Suigetsu had said they were going to find Naruto, so they hadn’t paid much attention to them.

And Suigetsu had been dragging his feet the entire way.

They hadn’t even bothered to hide their presence.
