Chapter 562 - 560: Fleeing in Disarray

Luo Tian had no hesitation in killing the Bishui Palace Master.

She hadn’t just twisted the truth and slandered Luo Tian; she had also betrayed Dongchen and defected to the Cyan Armor Race.

If Luo Tian hadn’t returned in time, the Yunxiao Sect might have been annihilated today!

"Let’s go have a look outside."

Luo Tian said to the two Mu Family Elders, then soared into the air.

"Luo Tian, the Cyan Armor Race is already attacking. Don’t go out," the injured Grand Elder advised.

"The enemy is here. Isn’t that perfect? It saves us the trouble of looking for them."

Luo Tian tossed the words over his shoulder and floated away.

The Grand Elder stood stunned, only then realizing that this was no longer the same Luo Tian he once knew.

He could easily break free from the restraints of a Half-step Celestial Pool Realm expert and even had Celestial Level Martial Artists protecting him.

...

「Outside the Yunxiao Sect.」

The Cyan Armor Race’s army was approaching.

The man in the lead was tall with a resolute face, clad in Black Armor, his black cape fluttering in the wind.

"The Eastern Domain will fall into my hands today!"

A smile touched the lips of the man in Black Armor as he led his army closer to the Yunxiao Sect.

He could feel the fluctuations of Celestial Level Martial Artists fighting on Yunxiao Mountain.

He had heavily injured the Yunxiao Sect’s Supreme Elder before. As long as the Bishui Palace’s Supreme Elder wasn’t a complete fool, he should be able to defeat Cheng Cangxiong with ease.

In that case, the Yunxiao Sect would be easy to breach.

But suddenly, the man in Black Armor and his troops saw many figures fleeing from Yunxiao Mountain.

Fleeing at the front were the upper echelons of Bishui Palace, along with a few members of the Yunxiao Sect who had defected to the Cyan Armor Race.

"My lord, save us!"

The Bishui Palace higher-ups and Zhou Yuquan’s group shouted.

The face of the man in Black Armor darkened instantly!

’Are you kidding me?’

’The Bishui Palace’s plan actually failed? Are they a bunch of pigs?’

"Charge!"

The man in Black Armor gave the order, and the army charged forward.

"Fall back!"

The Yunxiao Sect Master and the others quickly retreated.

They were only trying to kill a few more traitors; they had never intended to clash with the entire Cyan Armor Race army.

SWISH! SWISH!

The Yunxiao Sect’s upper echelons immediately returned.

Only seven or eight of the pursued Bishui Palace higher-ups and traitors were left, saved by the Cyan Armor Race’s army.

"Thank you for saving our lives, my lord."

The few of them immediately bowed, all breathing a sigh of relief.

"Kill them!"

The man in Black Armor ordered his subordinates to pursue the few Yunxiao Sect higher-ups.

Then, he looked at the Bishui Palace higher-ups and barked, "A bunch of idiots! You failed such a simple plan!"

He had been all set to wipe out the Yunxiao Sect in one fell swoop.

"My lord, this is all because of Luo Tian..."

A Bishui Palace Elder immediately began to explain.

He felt utterly aggrieved. Bishui Palace hadn’t made any mistakes; the plan had been going smoothly, but Luo Tian had ruined everything.

After listening, the man in Black Armor looked astonished.

"The Bishui Palace Master and their Supreme Elder are both dead?"

This was something he had never expected.

Even if the Bishui Palace’s plan failed, it shouldn’t have ended this disastrously.

Then, the man in Black Armor learned that Luo Tian had brought back an extremely powerful Celestial Level Martial Artist who had killed the Bishui Palace’s Supreme Elder!

The face of the man in Black Armor grew grim, and he fell into thought.

He had originally planned to destroy the Yunxiao Sect today and annex the Eastern Domain.

But now, with the Bishui Palace’s plan in shambles and the Yunxiao Sect having an additional Celestial Level Combat Power, he had to reconsider.

"Aaaargh..."

Just then, a series of miserable screams came from ahead.

SHHIIING!

Luo Tian slashed out with his sword, cutting a member of the Cyan Armor Race in half at the waist!

"Luo Tian, fall back!" the Yunxiao Sect Master shouted anxiously.

They had pursued only to kill a few more of the Bishui Palace’s upper echelons and the traitors. Now that they had run into the Cyan Armor Race army, their first instinct was to return to the Yunxiao Sect and mount a full defense.

Even with full preparations, a clash with the Cyan Armor Race army was more likely to end in defeat than victory.

What’s more, they were completely unprepared right now.

"Sect Leader, there’s no need to retreat. Let’s attack directly and crush the Cyan Armor Race!" Luo Tian said with perfect calm.

The Yunxiao Sect Master couldn’t help but facepalm.

Luo Tian made it sound so simple.

So far, the Yunxiao Sect had suffered many defeats and sustained heavy losses.

If they rashly went to war now, the entire Yunxiao Sect could be wiped out!

But if they retreated to Yunxiao Mountain and defended with all their might, the Yunxiao Sect would have the advantage and could at least guarantee they wouldn’t be defeated.

Suddenly, the sky darkened. The wind and clouds around them surged wildly, converging on a single point within the Cyan Armor Race’s army!

The next moment, a sky-blotting cyan Palm Force howled through the air, hurtling toward the people of the Yunxiao Sect!

"Run!" the Yunxiao Sect Master yelled urgently.

The upper echelons fled in a panic!

Only Luo Tian and the two Mu Family Elders remained perfectly calm.

The red-faced elder took a few steps forward and threw a palm strike of his own. A crimson light bloomed, and a cloud of fire billowed out.

BOOM!

A world-shaking explosion erupted on the spot, its shockwave blasting out in all directions.

From within the Cyan Armor Race army, the man in Black Armor floated over. His face was cold, and a savage light shone in his eyes.

"If the Yunxiao Sect does not surrender today, I will raze Yunxiao Mountain to the ground!" the man in Black Armor shouted coldly.

Although Bishui Palace’s plan had failed, it had at least inflicted some damage on the Yunxiao Sect. For example, their Supreme Elder, Cheng Cangxiong, was grievously injured and couldn’t exert much of his strength.

The man in Black Armor wanted to conquer the Eastern Domain as soon as possible, so he decided to attack directly and use this chance to destroy the Yunxiao Sect!

"You can try!"

A young man stepped out from the Yunxiao Sect’s ranks.

"So you’re Luo Tian?"

The man in Black Armor shot him an icy glance.

Luo Tian had killed the fifth son of the Cyan Armor Race Leader, making him famous throughout the entire race.

The Clan Leader had issued a bounty of three hundred thousand Spiritual Essence Coins for him.

If a member of the race captured Luo Tian alive, there were other great rewards as well.

The man in Black Armor hadn’t retreated. He decided to fight, partly because he intended to capture Luo Tian alive. He couldn’t let anyone else steal the credit!

Then, the man in Black Armor looked at the red-faced elder beside Luo Tian and sensed a powerful Celestial Level aura!

’So this is the Celestial Level helper Luo Tian brought, the one who ruined my plan!’

This was also the person who had blocked his Attack just now.

’This person is no simple character...’

The man in Black Armor’s Cultivation was at the Peak of Celestial Pool Realm First Layer. He had assumed the helper Luo Tian found was only at the Celestial Pool Realm First Layer.

Now, to his astonishment, he found that the red-faced elder gave him a faint sense of pressure.

"Sect Leader, no need to waste words on them. Let’s just start the war," Luo Tian said to the Yunxiao Sect Master.

The Yunxiao Sect Master glanced at Luo Tian, then at the red-faced elder.

The red-faced elder blocking the attack from the man in Black Armor made him realize that the situation had changed.

Luo Tian had brought this powerful helper; the Yunxiao Sect might just have a fighting chance!

"Relay my order! The entire Sect, attack!" the Yunxiao Sect Master roared!

The message was instantly transmitted back to the Yunxiao Sect.

Instantly, from the three great peaks, a large number of Yunxiao Sect members flew out. The two sides faced off, the atmosphere tense and ready to explode.

The man in Black Armor was a bit surprised to see the Yunxiao Sect actually initiating a battle.

Glancing at the red-faced elder, he felt a little uncertain.

Just then, the man in Black Armor took out a Token flashing with a cyan light. With a slight shift of his will, he read a message sent from afar.

"Elder Fu, what’s your situation? I’ve brought some men and am on my way to support you."

The person sending the message was another Elder of the Cyan Armor Race, whose strength was comparable to the man in Black Armor.

That Elder was originally in charge of the battlefield in the Northern Domain.

Now, the Northern Domain had been dealt with.

The corners of the man in Black Armor’s mouth curled up. He sent a message back: "I’m doing just fine. Hurry over."

Originally, he still had some misgivings.

But now, the man in Black Armor could already see victory.

Once the army from the Northern Domain arrived, everything would be settled.

"Kill!"

The man in Black Armor gave a cold smile!

In an instant, the Cyan Armor Race army charged.

The Yunxiao Sect also launched their attack. The two sides clashed, and the sound of explosions shook the heavens.

The man in Black Armor headed straight for the red-faced elder.

POW!

The two of them slammed their palms together. A wave of cyan and red light exploded, and the shockwave blasted outwards!

The man in Black Armor stumbled back two steps.

"Celestial Pool Realm Second Layer?"

His face was a mask of shock.

Luo Tian had actually brought a helper at the Celestial Pool Realm Second Layer!

In a major battle, the outcome was often decided by the high-end combat power. At this moment, the Yunxiao Sect held the advantage.

Seeing this, the Yunxiao Sect’s upper echelons immediately saw a glimmer of hope, and their morale soared!

"Luo Tian, this is all thanks to you. You’ve saved the Yunxiao Sect and changed the tide of battle in the Eastern Domain," the Yunxiao Sect Master said gratefully.

But the man in Black Armor didn’t panic, nor did he show any intention of retreating.

He could still hold off this Celestial Pool Realm Second Layer expert for a while. As long as he waited for reinforcements to arrive, victory would still be theirs.

But suddenly, another Celestial Level aura approached.

The man in Black Armor initially thought it was the Yunxiao Sect’s Supreme Elder.

But it turned out to be a middle-aged woman.

"Broken Jade Green Shadow Palm!"

The middle-aged woman unleashed a brilliant, fractured palm silhouette that descended like a torrential cyan downpour.

The man in Black Armor was a little stunned.

’Who is this now?’

’Her Cultivation is actually at the Peak of Celestial Pool Realm First Layer, on par with my own!’

POW! WHOOSH!

Under the combined attack of the two Mu Family Elders, the man in Black Armor was sent flying, stumbling back thirty or forty meters.

His Black Armor was covered in numerous dents, and a trickle of blood escaped the corner of his mouth.

"Bastard, what’s going on?! Luo Tian brought two helpers at the Celestial Pool Realm, and you didn’t even tell me!"

The man in Black Armor flew into a rage, questioning one of the Bishui Palace Elders.

If he had known this earlier, he absolutely wouldn’t have dared to continue the attack. He would have retreated immediately!

’This damn Bishui Palace! They’re nothing but a bunch of pigs!’

"I-I didn’t know either!"

The Bishui Palace Elder felt a suffocating pressure and was terrified!

POW!

The man in Black Armor struck out with his palm, sending the Bishui Palace Elder flying. One of the elder’s arms was instantly shattered to pieces.

"Retreat!"

After venting his anger, the man in Black Armor roared!

At this stage, if they regrouped with the reinforcements, there was still hope of turning the tables and snatching victory from the jaws of defeat!

’That damn brat.’

The man in Black Armor was filled with resentment!

If Luo Tian hadn’t brought two Celestial Level Martial Artists, why would he be retreating in such a sorry state?

"Hm?"

The man in Black Armor suddenly noticed that Luo Tian was actually approaching him.

He had lost this battle.

But if he could capture Luo Tian, it wouldn’t be a total loss.

The intense hatred in his heart made the man in Black Armor come to a decision!

He feigned a panicked retreat, but at a certain moment, he suddenly launched a counterattack at Luo Tian. "You brat! Did you really think that just because I’m defeated and running, you can slaughter me at will? You’re too naive!"

’A mere Earth Element Realm Ninth Layer is as good as caught!’

But the Luo Tian in his vision showed no sign of panic as the man in Black Armor charged. Instead, a faint smile appeared on his face.

"You’re the naive one!"
