"Stop it!" She struggled to get up, but the silver bell in her hair got caught on the hook of the bed curtain, causing her dark hair to cascade down like a waterfall, making her face appear even more delicate and charming.

Shi Feiyang watched the flustered yet adorable look of the person in front of him and chuckled softly from his throat. He reached out to untangle the hair, his fingertips accidentally brushing her flushed earlobe: "In such a hurry, are you off to find some treasure?"

Xue Li turned her face away, muttering softly, "Of course, to embroider a kerchief for you. Last time the magnolia embroidery was crooked..."

Before she finished speaking, she was pulled back into the warm embrace.

Shi Feiyang rested his chin on the top of her head, his voice deep and gentle: "More important than a kerchief...," he suddenly turned over, enclosing her beneath him, the morning light tracing the firm line of his jaw, "is to embroider my wife into my heart."

Xue Li was made to feel her heart drum wildly by his intense gaze, stretching out her hand to push against his chest.

But Shi Feiyang took the opportunity to hold her hand and place it over his own heart: "Listen, here it’s filled with your shadow."

He lowered his head to gently peck her lips, the lingering affection undeniable and passionate, "In the past, I always lived on the edge of a blade. Now I realize, the world’s most precious treasure has long been lying in my arms."

Outside the tent, the wind chimes tinkled, startling the fallen blossoms in the courtyard.

While inside, the whispers of happiness were softer and more tender than the spring breeze, fermenting time into honey.

She looked up, her eyes shimmering like water, "Look, the peach blossoms we planted have bloomed, and the seedlings in the courtyard have grown tall. Life is plain, yet it’s more precious now than ever." Before she finished speaking, Shi Feiyang suddenly picked her up and walked to the window.

Pushing open the gauze window, a courtyard full of peach blossoms greeted them, the pink-white petals swaying lightly in the wind, falling onto Xue Li’s shoulders.

"My lady is right, these peach blossoms, no matter how beautiful, are not worthy of comparison to you." He bowed his head to kiss the petals off her shoulder, "Come, let’s go embroider that kerchief. I want to watch how my Xue Li embroiders the most beautiful pattern in the world onto silk."

Inside the tent, in front of the embroidery frame, Xue Li wielded the needle, while Shi Feiyang leaned on one side, gazing with his chin in his hand.

Every stitch she sewed, he would lean over to examine closely, occasionally reaching out to disrupt, causing Xue Li to teasingly scold him as she lightly tapped his nose with the thread.

Sunlight filtered through the window lattice, combining their shadows into one, creating an eternal painting on the ground.

As dusk settled, Shi Feiyang held Xue Li while sitting on the steps in front of the wooden house.

The distant mountains were dyed orange by the setting sun, and birds returning home skimmed across the sky. Xue Li leaned on his shoulder, softly humming a Kunlun Sect melody, while Shi Feiyang gently shook her hand in rhythm.

"Shall we come to see the peach blossoms every year on this day?" Xue Li turned her head to ask him. Shi Feiyang held her tighter, dropping a kiss on her forehead: "Not just today, but for many years to come, I want to share this beautiful scenery of the world with you."

The evening breeze brushed past, carrying the sweet fragrance of peach blossoms. Inside the tent, the candles gradually lit up, reflecting a pair of lovers and brewing the tranquility of these days into a lingering tenderness.

The morning light tinged the veil in the tent to a honeyed hue, Shi Feiyang suddenly turned and took up the plain silk and inkstone by the pillow.

He picked up the wolf-hair brush, slowly grinding it on the inkstone, the ink’s fragrance mixed with the amorous ambiance inside the tent, adding an extra touch of warmth.

Xue Li propped herself up, her long hair cascading over the brocade quilt like a waterfall, curiously leaning close: "What are you doing?"

Shi Feiyang’s lips curled into a smile, the brush lightly tapping her nose: "Didn’t my lady want to learn how to write love letters? Then let me teach you well today." Saying this, he spread the plain silk over his knee, his wrist gently turning, the brush strokes like a flying dragon and dancing phoenix: "’Meeting you is like spring water reflecting pear blossoms.’"

The ink’s color spread on the silk, the characters’ boldness carried traces of tender affection.

Xue Li tilted her head, her fingertips tracing the characters: "Such literary verbiage, how is it any better than simply saying ’I am fond of you’?"

Upon hearing this, Shi Feiyang suddenly put down the brush, wrapped an arm around her to encircle her in his embrace: "Then what does my lady mean...?"

His breath sprayed against her ear, "You want me to say it directly like this?"
