Chapter 35: The Battle Begins

The abandoned village became completely silent.

Kael stood face-to-face with the mysterious man.

The man slowly raised his hand.

Suddenly, several broken stones around him began floating in the air.

Kael narrowed his eyes.

"Telekinesis."

The mysterious man smiled.

"You recognized it."

The floating stones suddenly shot toward Kael.

Kael moved his sword.

A green aura surrounded the blade.

Every stone was cut apart before reaching him.

Kael stepped forward.

Natural energy began spreading around his body.

Leaves, branches, and small pieces of wood started moving around him.

Kael raised his sword.

"My power comes from nature."

The mysterious man moved his hand.

The ground suddenly broke apart.

Large pieces of stone rose into the air and surrounded Kael.

Then they flew toward him from every direction.

Kael rushed forward.

His sword moved rapidly, cutting through the stones one after another.

He reached the mysterious man and swung his sword.

The man stopped the blade with telekinesis.

Kael’s sword stopped in mid-air.

The mysterious man pushed his hand forward.

An invisible force struck Kael and sent him flying backward.

Kael landed on his feet.

He looked at the mysterious man.

"Not bad."

The mysterious man raised both hands.

The broken houses around them began shaking.

Large pieces of wood and stone floated into the air.

Kael slammed his sword into the ground.

Natural energy spread through the earth.

Roots suddenly burst from the ground and grabbed the floating objects.

The roots pulled them back down.

Kael rushed forward again.

The mysterious man also moved.

Their attacks collided.

Kael’s sword clashed against the mysterious man’s telekinetic force.

Neither gave the other an easy opening.

They fought across the abandoned village.

Kael moved with incredible speed, attacking from different angles.

The mysterious man controlled everything around him without touching it.

Every time Kael got close, an invisible force pushed him away.

Every time the mysterious man attacked, Kael blocked it with his sword.

They were fighting toe-to-toe.

But slowly, the mysterious man began gaining the edge.

Kael was pushed backward.

The mysterious man increased the pressure of his telekinesis.

Kael blocked another invisible attack.

His feet dug into the ground.

The mysterious man smiled.

"You’re strong."

Kael looked at him.

"So are you."

The man suddenly increased his power.

Kael was forced several steps backward.

At that moment, the mysterious man’s black clothing was caught by the edge of Kael’s sword.

RIP!

A large part of his outer clothing tore open.

The man stepped back.

Kael looked at the damaged clothing.

Then he noticed something underneath it.

A strange symbol was visible on the man’s inner clothing.

Kael’s eyes narrowed.

But before he could say anything—

The mysterious man attacked again.

Kael blocked the attack.

At the same time, Kael shouted,

"NOW!"

Their target was Juyew.

Kil Ful rushed forward with his sword.

Morry followed with both blades.

Ravian gathered his Force Manipulation.

Rony activated Black Force.

Maddy disappeared from Juyew’s sight.

Lira prepared her mud attacks.

Juyew looked around.

For a moment, he remained silent.

Then he smiled.

"So you all came."

Kil Ful attacked.

Juyew blocked the sword.

Morry attacked from the side.

Juyew quickly moved backward.

Ravian lifted several stones with Force Manipulation and launched them toward Juyew.

Juyew dodged them.

Rony appeared above him.

"Black Force!"

Dark energy surrounded Rony.

He brought his hammer down.

Juyew blocked the attack.

The impact shook the ground.

Maddy suddenly appeared behind Juyew.

His invisible attack came from a blind spot.

Juyew turned and blocked it just in time.

Lira attacked from the opposite side.

Mud rushed toward Juyew.

Juyew released Void energy and destroyed the attack.

Kil Ful immediately followed.

His sword clashed against Juyew’s Void energy.

Juyew pushed him back.

But Kil Ful returned immediately.

The entire group attacked together.

Juyew defended against all of them.

Then suddenly—

Juyew started laughing.

"Hahaha!"

Kil Ful looked at him.

"What are you laughing about?"

Juyew’s eyes became excited.

"I remember you."

He looked at Kil Ful.

"You were much weaker when we first met."

Then he looked at the others.

"And all of you..."

His smile widened.

"You have changed too."

Morry attacked.

Juyew blocked his two blades.

Ravian attacked from another direction.

Rony followed with his hammer.

Maddy attacked from Juyew’s blind spot.

Lira controlled the ground beneath him.

Juyew avoided every attack.

"This is interesting."

His Void energy began growing stronger.

"You children have become powerful."

On the other side of the village, Kael and the mysterious man continued their battle.

The mysterious man attacked with telekinesis.

Kael blocked the attack with his sword.

The force pushed him backward.

The mysterious man’s torn clothing moved in the wind.

Kael looked at the symbol that had been revealed.

He recognized it.

His expression became serious.

The mysterious man noticed Kael looking at the symbol.

"So you know what this is."

Kael nodded.

"That symbol belongs to a mysterious kingdom."

The mysterious man remained silent.

Kael looked toward Juyew.

Then back at the man.

"So you are from the same kingdom as him."

The mysterious man smiled.

"You figured it out."

Kael raised his sword.

"Then I know where this fight is heading."

The mysterious man raised his hand.

"Let’s continue."

He unleashed a massive telekinetic force.

Kael planted his feet into the ground.

Natural energy surrounded his sword.

He swung forward.

The two powers collided.

Juyew suddenly appeared in front of Kil Ful.

Kil Ful blocked his attack.

Morry attacked from the side.

Juyew dodged.

Ravian used Force Manipulation.

Rony charged forward with Black Force.

Maddy attacked from behind.

Lira attacked from below.

Juyew fought all of them at once.

His expression became more excited with every second.

"You’ve all improved."

Kil Ful gritted his teeth.

"We trained for this moment."

Juyew smiled.

"Then don’t disappoint me."

Kil Ful rushed forward.

Everyone followed.

The abandoned village shook as the battle intensified.

Juyew stood against the entire group.

And for the first time, he wasn’t fighting simply to defeat them.

He was enjoying the battle.

"How strong have these kids become..."

Juyew laughed.
