Chapter 936 - Ash Vs Yesh 2 (7)
The Sandstorm is definitely hindering Pikachu's speed, he is also getting blasted by small stones and pebbles and hurting him.
Ash "Let's end this with one big move, Volt Tackle"
Pikachu slapped his cheeks and charged up the electricity inside his body and rushed towards Steelix, the lightning around Pikachu incinerated the stones flying towards him, every step he took crashed the ground as he made his way towards Steelix.
Julian looked at this and his eyes went wide, while everyone wondered why would Ash use an electric type move against ground type pokemon but Julian had other ideas, he has seen this before and he thinks Ash is going to do the same again.
Yesh saw Ash doing something he didn't expect and he realized this is one of those things that doesn't make sense.
Yesh "You won't succeed, Steelix, use Head Smash"
Yesh isn't going to allow Ash to pull off anything dangerous right now when things are going his way.
Steelix covered its head with rock energy and charged towards Pikachu who is rushing towards it using Volt Tackle, seeing that the two were about to clash Julian got to his feet and wondered if Ash is really going to pull this off once again.
Ash "Now, Brick Break"
Hearing Ash, Pikachu suddenly put all his strength behind his hind legs and weight in the front ones and shot up in the air doing a front flip while his tail suddenly started to glow and radiate destructive energy around it which fused with the lightning around his body.
Yesh saw this and his eyes went wide as he remembered this same move Ash did against Julian's pokemon but in that he did it with an Iron Tail but this time he is doing it with a Brick Break.
Julian also got to his feet as he saw this attack, it was way more powerful than the last time he saw this, he could feel it, even from behind the glass window.
Pikachu's glowing tail covered with destructive energy fused with lightning and Steelix's head covered with rock energy collided and caused such a powerful explosion that the grand stadium's protection activated again, this is the second time it has been activated.
The shockwave was destructive as well and even bent the protection field to a point that it was close to touching the audience who are sitting on the first row.
The ground below them completely caved in because of the sudden release of the massive energy from that collision.
Even the Sandstorm that was activated before got blasted away and removed from the stadium, the crowd then saw Steelix's head snap back and crash into the ground, they also saw Pikachu sent flipping and spinning through the air.
Pikachu also crashed on the ground and both pokemons seems to be knocked out right now, as the smoke cleared up the referee looked at both pokemon and saw one of them lifting their heads up and trying to stand straight, seeing this pokemon stand up and the other one didn't, the referee called the result.
Referee "Steelix is unable to battle, Pikachu wins"
Ash "YES"
Ash shouted in excitement as he saw Pikachu win the exchange, he had been trying to master this move for quite a while now, the last time he used it was against Julian but he lost that exchange, from there on he trained Pikachu to master this move.
Yesh didn't expect his Steelix to go down, he had prepared his Steelix just to deal with Ash's Pikachu but this plan of his didn't work.
Yesh then looked at Ash's Pikachu and noticed that he is very tired as well, that last attack from Pikachu took out a lot from him, but Yesh is still surprised to see Pikachu still standing, Pikachu was able to take down his Steelix with one powerful hit.
Those Quick Attacks were also effective in chipping down some health but they would not have made any difference, the last attack did it all.
Yesh didn't waste Ash's time and sent Steelix back to its Pokeball and sent out his next pokemon on the battlefield, now both of them are tie again, both lost three pokemons.
Ash lost Krookodile, Emboar, and Scrafty, while Yesh lost his Scizor, Excadrill, and now Steelix.
It looks like Ash didn't want to switch his pokemon and keep his cards hidden till the end, Yesh, on the other hand, took out a new Pokeball and sent out his next pokemon, Blaziken.
Yesh's Blaziken took the battlefield and stared at Pikachu with its fierce eyes, Julian was also surprised by seeing this pokemon because he didn't expect Yesh to have a Blaziken.
Yesh "Blaze Kick"
Once again Yesh didn't wait around and attacked, his Blaziken moved fast, very fast, it got close to Pikachu and was about to land the Blaze Kick when Pikachu suddenly countered.
Ash "Counter with Thunderbolt"
Now that Pikachu can use his electric type moves against Blaziken, he is not going to miss this chance, but to everyone's surprise, Blaziken didn't stop and kicked straight through the bolt of lightning with its legs and landed a powerful hit on Pikachu and sent it rolling on the ground.
Pikachu finally stopped right in front of Ash's legs, knocked out.
It was not that Blaziken was too strong for Pikachu, it was just that the last battle could have ended up in a draw and Pikachu got back to his feet by sheer will and determination and nothing else, and now he had no power to counter Blaziken so he was easily able to go through the Thunderbolt and land the hit.
