Tiona immediately burst into hearty laughter upon hearing Kalos's complaint.

"Hahaha! Oh, Kalos, what are you talking about?!" She exclaimed, slapping the table in amusement. "You only met and spoke to that guy a few minutes ago, and you've already forgotten his name? That's hilarious!"

Even Lefiya, who had been extremely annoyed from the very beginning that some strange man had dared to come looking for Ais, could no longer hold herself back. Her irritation eased somewhat, replaced by amusement. She giggled softly while covering her mouth with her palm.

Of the four of them, only Ais showed absolutely no exaggerated reaction.

The golden-haired girl's expression remained as calm and impassive as usual. However, beneath that calm exterior, Ais's mind had already begun turning.

Based on Kalos's strange behavior and his sudden bout of forgetfulness, a flash of understanding crossed her beautiful mind. She could already guess with absolute certainty the identity of the mysterious man currently waiting for her at the front gate.

Meanwhile, Kalos, feeling that his dignity was being threatened, immediately tried to make excuses in his own defense.

"Hey, I'm serious! I'm not senile!" he protested, his face beginning to redden from embarrassment. "I really did hear his name earlier! My memory is usually excellent, it's just... it's just that right now, it suddenly feels like there's some kind of fog covering my mind!"

Tiona looked at Kalos with an extremely skeptical expression, clearly unconvinced by his excuse.

"Oh, really? If you're not senile, then prove it!" She challenged with a playful grin. "Forget about his name for now. Just describe what the man looked like! Was he tall or short? What color were his clothes?"

Kalos immediately opened his mouth to answer Tiona's challenge. However, not a single word managed to escape his throat.

An unmistakably bewildered expression once again settled over his face.

Kalos stood there, dumbfounded.

No matter how hard he racked his brain to recall Charlie's appearance, hair color, or the clothes he had been wearing just a few minutes ago, he could not conjure up even the slightest image in his mind.

The man at the gate was completely blurred, as though he had been forcibly erased from his memory.

Seeing Kalos suddenly freeze with such a foolish expression, Tiona could no longer hold herself back. She burst into roaring laughter, clutching her stomach as it began to ache from laughing so hard.

"Hahaha! Look at his face! You can't remember anything at all, Kalos!"

Lefiya also turned her face away. Her shoulders trembled violently as she desperately tried to hold back her laughter so that she would not burst out as loudly as Tiona, preserving her image as an elegant elf.

Being laughed at by two beautiful girls in the middle of the bustling cafeteria, he felt utterly humiliated and frustrated at the same time. He roughly scratched the back of his head as all sorts of wild thoughts began filling his mind.

Kalos wondered inwardly in a panic.

"Ais-san?"

Lefiya blinked as she noticed Ais suddenly rise from her seat.

"I want to go meet that man." Ais said in a flat tone.

Without waiting for any further response, she immediately walked away from their table.

Seeing this, Tiona immediately sprang out of her seat with excitement. "Whoa, wait for me, Ais! I want to come too! My instincts are telling me this is going to be really interesting!"

Of course, Lefiya was not about to remain silent after seeing her best friend and idol walk away together. She would never allow Ais to meet some strange man alone without her supervision.

"A-Ais-san, wait for me! I'm coming too!"

And so, the three girls willingly left behind their unfinished breakfast plates. Kalos, still plagued by embarrassment and confusion over his terrible memory, quickly walked ahead to accompany them toward the main gate of Twilight Manor.

As soon as they stepped out through the main building's doors, the front gate area had already become clearly visible at the end of the pathway through the courtyard.

With her excellent physical abilities as a Level 5 adventurer and her exceptionally sharp eyesight, Tiona could already make out Charlie's figure in the distance with perfect clarity.

Her footsteps suddenly slowed, and her eyes widened as she admired the sight before her.

"Wow... he's handsome." Tiona marveled at Charlie's sharp yet handsome features. "Look at that white hair. He's kind of like our little Argonaut, isn't he? Someone that handsome shouldn't be a nobody in Orario. But... why do I feel like I've never seen him anywhere in this city before?"

The Argonaut Tiona had just referred to was, of course, Bell Cranel, the white-haired adventurer from Hestia Familia whom she often called by the name of a hero.

Meanwhile, walking right beside Ais, Lefiya stared straight at Charlie, who was standing calmly near the gate. Her eyes were filled with hostility toward the strange man who had approached her beloved Ais-san.

Yet beneath that dislike, a strange sensation suddenly crept into the depths of Lefiya's heart.

There was an unsettling feeling that gnawed at her and confused her thoughts, as though her soul itself was refusing to approach the man before her, while at the same time, her instincts screamed that there was something extremely dangerous about the white-haired young man.

Standing several meters directly in front of Charlie, Ais slowly softened her usually stiff expression, which rarely displayed much emotion.

"Charlie. Why did you come here?" Ais asked in a quiet yet gentle voice.

Charlie looked directly into the golden pupils of the girl before him, offering a faint, reassuring smile.

"There is something very important I need to discuss with you, Ais."

"I want us to talk alone somewhere quieter."

At that very moment, Tiona immediately jumped backward in shock. She clasped both hands against her cheeks, unable to believe what she had just witnessed.

"Oh my gosh!" she exclaimed dramatically. "Ais, you actually know this handsome guy?! Wow, how did I not know you were this close to a man, huh? Ais, you really know how to hide a huge secret from the rest of us!"

Meanwhile, Lefiya, standing nearby, immediately clenched both fists so tightly that her knuckles turned white.

Watching the seemingly natural interaction between the two people who looked like a couple made her chest feel painfully tight. She glared fiercely at Charlie, as though imaginary flames were shooting from her eyes, ready to burn the white-haired young man to ashes on the spot.

However, Ais paid absolutely no attention to the excited and emotional reactions of those around her. Her entire focus was fixed on Charlie. The girl obediently nodded without hesitation.

"All right. Let's move somewhere quieter."

Before they could leave, Ais briefly turned her face toward her brown-haired friend. Her gaze suddenly became filled with warning.

"And Tiona..."

"Don't even think about secretly following us and eavesdropping from behind. If you do, I'll really be angry with you."

Tiona's shoulders immediately slumped in defeat. The devious plan to follow them that had just been neatly formed in her mind was forced to end before it had even begun.

"Ugh... Ais, you're so stingy!" Tiona grumbled, puffing out her cheeks in annoyance as she mourned the loss of a golden opportunity to obtain the best gossip material of the month.

Charlie merely chuckled softly at their dynamic. He then turned around and began walking away from the gate of Loki Familia's headquarters, walking side by side with Ais.

Behind them, Lefiya stood frozen in place, her eyes filled with jealousy as she continued watching Charlie and Ais's backs until the two figures disappeared around the corner of Twilight Manor's road.
