It's Perfectly Normal for my Slime to beat up a Dragon, Right?
Ch. 325 - The Campus Is My Home, Let's All Take Care of It
New Novel - Read Here
Slap!
Just as Chen Shu was laying down his threats, a hand landed on his shoulder.
His pupils contracted and his heart lurched in shock.
He was absolutely certain — there had been no one behind him!
But now someone had appeared out of nowhere, which meant only one thing:
The newcomer was so fast that even he couldn't register their movement!
Chen Shu's expression remained unchanged as he laughed and said, "Of course, those compensation fees from earlier were just a joke! Just livening things up."
"I, Chen Shu, have always been of pure and righteous stock![2] Anyone who breaks campus rules is making an enemy of me!"
Righteousness emanated from him as he completely shed his earlier bandit-like demeanor.
"You sure change faces fast, kid!"
Chen Shu slowly turned around and saw a middle-aged man in a white dress shirt looking at him, a knowing smile playing at the corner of his lips.
"Boss, I was speaking from the heart!"
Chen Shu let out a dry laugh and said, "The campus is my home — it's up to everyone to take care of it!"[1]
Everyone turned to stare at him. Where the hell had this sudden burst of moral consciousness come from?
"It's the Vice Principal!"
The senior student handling the registration up front immediately stood up, his expression nothing short of reverent.
The other freshmen were similarly shaken, some even gasping in surprise.
Their eyes were filled with admiration. They never expected to encounter such an important figure on their very first day.
"Alright, carry on with your enrollment procedures."
The middle-aged man nodded, then looked at Chen Shu and said, "Know your limits!"
With that, he turned and left the scene directly.
"A principal-level figure, no wonder he had such an oppressive aura."
Chen Shu patted his chest. Thank goodness for his quick wit and adaptability.
Yu Yi also let out a sigh of relief. If cutting in line cost him a hundred million in compensation, that would've been absolute bullshit.
He stood up and glared fiercely at Chen Shu, reaching for his enrollment materials to leave.
"Hold it!"
Chen Shu spoke up. "Think you're just gonna walk away like that?"
"What more do you want? The Vice Principal's still nearby..."
Yu Yi could only invoke the principal's name. A gentleman could wait ten years for revenge — getting out first was what mattered most.
"You didn't even line up. Enroll, my ass!"
Chen Shu said, "Get to the back of the line!"
"Don't push it!"
Yu Yi seemed emboldened by the knowledge that the Vice Principal was nearby.
Besides, the Vice Principal's appearance just now made him believe the school would protect him all the more. After all, who else had an SS-rank contract spirit?
"The Yu Family of Beiyuan City — surely you've heard of them?"
Yu Yi narrowed his eyes with a threatening shade, finally laying his family background on the table.
Chen Shu's face twisted with terror. "You're from the Yu Family?!"
"Scared now? You'd best behave yourself!"
A smile crept onto Yu Yi's lips as he turned to retrieve his enrollment materials.
In that instant, darkness descended once more!
Thump!
The urea bag was yanked over Yu Yi once again, just as clean and efficient as before!
"You motherfucker!"
Yu Yi's heart seized with panic. Are you fucking insane?! How could you bag me again?!
Bam!
Chen Shu sent him flying with a single kick, and Yu Yi landed perfectly at the very end of the line.
"Line up properly! And don't you dare take off that urea bag!"
Chen Shu dusted off his hands and said, "As long as I can't see your face, I'm not bullying a Yu Family member!"
"......"
The crowd was dumbstruck. What kind of absurd logic was this?!
"What a little genius I am!"
Chen Shu nodded with satisfaction and handed over his admission notice.
"Senior, please process my enrollment."
"O... oh..."
The stunned senior finally nodded, a trace of wariness creeping into his eyes. This motherfucker was another ruthless bastard!
Soon enough, the senior handed over a blue student card and an enrollment handbook.
"Classmate, your dorm number is Building 16, Room 302!"
The senior explained, "Also, this student card serves as your identity — it's also known as the universal card. It can record academic credits, store cash, look up personal info and grades, and more. You'll gradually come to understand its importance."
"Also, the day after tomorrow, all freshmen are to assemble at the No. 1 Drill Ground for the opening ceremony!"
"Mm, thanks."
Chen Shu nodded and accepted the student card and handbook.
"Old Wang, escort this junior to the dorm."
The senior nudged the male student next to him.
"......"
The guy addressed as Old Wang immediately went pale. Why the hell wasn't he escorting him?
With someone this ruthless, what if halfway there he decided to beat me up just for kicks?
The rest of the freshmen might not have grasped Chen Shu's strength, but he knew it all too well. That golden slime was definitely at the Black Iron rank!
"My head hurts a bit!"
Old Wang immediately hunched over, looking utterly pained.
"Then why are you clutching your stomach?"
"Uh... the pain's making me a little delirious..."
"Hurry up, this is a school assignment!"
"No need, I can find it myself!"
Chen Shu spoke up, and with that, he simply dragged his luggage and left.
He already knew his way around Huaxia Academy like the back of his hand; being escorted was completely unnecessary.
As soon as he started walking, the people around him instinctively shuffled back several steps, terrified of being targeted by the bandit.
Chen Shu arrived at Yu Yi's side and said gently, "No taking it off early! Otherwise I'll put ten more on you."
"......"
Yu Yi nodded forcefully, already drenched in sweat.
September weather — wearing a bag over your head could roast a person half to death. Ten would straight-up cost him half his life.
And so, passersby kept glancing at Yu Yi, the two bold characters for "UREA" practically maxing out his head-turn rate!
An hour later, Chen Shu arrived smoothly at the Building 16 dormitory.
"Got a system option right at the start of the semester — by the time I graduate, won't I just be invincible?"
Chen Shu whistled as he leisurely made his way to Room 302.
He swiped his student card and walked into the dorm.
"Brothers, I'm here!"
There was a grin on his face as he prepared to greet his roommates with the utmost enthusiasm.
As everyone knew, college roommates were the only people who would be by your side for all four years!
"......"
The dorm was dead silent. Not a single person appeared.
"No one? What the hell!"
Chen Shu shook his head. He never expected to be the first one to arrive.
Though it was a student dormitory, it was actually a four-bedroom, one-living-room setup spanning two hundred square meters, fully equipped with all kinds of furniture and appliances.
"Straight-up luxury!"
Chen Shu muttered to himself. This was Capital City — where every inch of land was worth its weight in gold.
"Once I graduate, I'll just sell off the dorm room..."
He daydreamed contentedly, picked a room, and stowed his luggage.
Seeing there was nothing else to do, he summoned the husky.
"Dumb dog, time to eat!"
Chen Shu opened his backpack and pulled out the cooked food.
At the same time, the space beside him tore open, revealing a pair of adorably dopey big eyes.
The slime opened its massive mouth and swallowed the food in a single gulp.
"Still, Little Yellow's the best, eating so fast!"
Chen Shu rubbed the Dumb Husky and said, "I'm gonna go grab a meal. You behave yourself, got it?"
"Awooo! Awooo!"
The husky yelped twice to show he understood.
Chen Shu left the dorm. Just as he was walking along the road, a voice suddenly rang out.
"Bandit Bro!"
[1] The campus is my home (校园是我家,爱护靠大家): A ubiquitous Chinese school slogan. Chen Shu recites it with performative sincerity the instant Vice-Principal Qin Tian catches him mid-extortion — completing a split-second pivot from "I rank above the school" to model student.
[2] Red roots, correct sprouts (根正苗红, gēnzhèng miáohóng): A Communist-era term for someone from a politically reliable proletarian family background. Chen Shu — the Nanjiang Bandit who just tried to extort 100 million yuan — deploying it as a self-description to the Vice-Principal is peak irony.
