Mr. Wen sighed helplessly, pushed Shi Zhile out of the frame, and showed his own face. "Someone is offering a huge amount of supplies in exchange for your sister’s life. Do you understand now?"

Jiang Jing’s expression turned grim in an instant. "Who is it?"

Shi Zhile spoke from off-camera, "Someone you can probably guess without me saying their name. A new dungeon opens in half a month. So far, all we know is that it’s called the Cursed Island. Ten people are sacrificed, and none survive.

Also, tell the base not to post any news about the new dungeon in the group chat."

After hanging up, Shi Zhile took over control of the island from Shi Zhiyi and began consuming her Spirit Value to make the island move faster.

As it neared midnight and time for a shift change, Shi Zhile opened the remote surveillance feed to check on Sun Ci and the others with Mr. Wen.

Inside the stone house, Sun Ci and Tang Yan were on watch while the others were fast asleep. After confirming no one was missing, Shi Zhile left the monitor on and focused on resting.

「The next day at dawn」

The torrential downpour had eased into a moderate rain. Although they still couldn’t go out to sea, it didn’t stop them from going outside with umbrellas.

After breakfast, Shi Zhile entered the Breeding Space as usual to collect chicken and duck eggs. After feeding the cows and rabbits, she herded the chickens and ducks into the Planting Space to eat insects and weeds.

Once she was done with everything, Shi Zhile yawned and went back for a nap.

Around nine o’clock, Shi Zhile received a message from Sun Ci.

[Can we take a walk around the island?]

Shi Zhile quickly looked at her panel. The players in the stone house were all awake. Perhaps because they hadn’t received her reply, they were all gathered in the house, chatting and resting, not wandering about.

She counted them again to make sure no one was missing, then checked the other areas of the island.
