When Wei Zhan arrived, he saw the two of them locked in an embrace. He looked embarrassed.

"You two..."

Shi Zhile planted a kiss on the side of Jiang Yuxing’s face, completely unabashed. "Uncle Wei, young people are full of vigor. You know how it is."

Jiang Yuxing was leaning against the stone wall, in a completely dominated position. Although Shi Zhile was in his arms, her arm was pinning his down, making her look exceptionally domineering.

If not for the smile on Jiang Yuxing’s face, Wei Zhan would have thought he was witnessing a scene of a villainess forcing herself on a handsome man.

Wei Zhan’s weathered face grew even more awkward. He quickly turned to leave. "It’s too late. I’m going back to sleep."

Watching his figure disappear into the cave, Shi Zhile pulled out of Jiang Yuxing’s embrace with a deadpan expression.

Jiang Yuxing sighed regretfully, teasing her with a faint smile. "Is that it?"

Shi Zhile crossed her arms. "What else? Want to sleep together?"

Jiang Yuxing was so taken aback he started coughing. She had said it so brazenly, without a hint of the shyness expected of a young lady.

’She’s becoming more and more like her old self—decisive and ruthless, yet compassionate.’

At this thought, Jiang Yuxing couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

Shi Zhile was quick. She pinched a red mark onto his neck, then took her poisonous smoke and slipped quietly into the stone-blocked cave entrance.

「The next morning」

Mo Ze divided his clansmen into three groups. Two would follow Wei Zhan and Jiang Jing respectively, while he personally led the third team to dump Yuan Qiang and his eleven men in the Beast-eating Clan’s territory.

Yuan Qiang and the others struggled, but in front of Mo Ze and his clansmen, they were like helpless chicks.

As they were moved around, the restrained men grew groggy. In less than an hour, they were lying limply on the ground.

Mo Ze furrowed his brow and lifted Yuan Qiang in displeasure. Seeing him foaming at the mouth, he tossed him aside.

"Master Witch, he looks... kind of dead."

Shi Zhile crouched down to check the others. All of them were foaming at the mouth, looking like they didn’t have long to live.

Jiang Yuxing said, "Just leave them here."

They had already reached the edge of the Beast-eating Clan’s territory.

Shi Zhile and Jiang Yuxing followed behind Mo Ze.

The closer they got to the west, the denser the vegetation became. Shi Zhile held an axe in one hand, and with the other, she took the hibernating Green Snake out of her Breeding Space.

Upon suddenly encountering the hot weather, the little Green Snake immediately raised its head, its small black eyes filled with confusion.

Shi Zhile paid it no mind, carefully watching the path under her feet.

A RUSTLING sound came from behind them. Shi Zhile whipped her head around, and with a single glance, her scalp went numb.

To one side behind them, a black wall had appeared in the forest. If one looked closely, they could see it was covered in scales.

It wasn’t a wall at all, but the reared-up body of a snake. The lush leaves hid most of its scales. If its head hadn’t brushed against the leaves as it rose, they would never have noticed it.

Jiang Yuxing grabbed Shi Zhile and they ran forward. As she ran, Shi Zhile shouted for the clansmen to get close so she could pull them into her space.

"It’s a giant python! Everyone, get close to me!"

As the number of clansmen outside dwindled, the python’s attack officially began.

The forest, which had only been swaying slightly, suddenly exploded. The python’s head burst through the leaves and lunged fiercely toward the pair.

After pulling the last person, Mo Ze, into the Planting Space, Shi Zhile and Jiang Yuxing vanished from the spot.

The Black Python watched its prey disappear from right before its eyes, its pupils glinting with savagery.

A roar echoed through the forest. The snake’s tail slammed against the ground repeatedly. As its body swept through the area, half of the large forest was instantly destroyed.

The scent of humans had completely vanished. The Black Python coiled up and waited for another moment. Once it confirmed the people were truly gone, it charged westward in a frenzy.

And to the west was the territory of the Beast-eating Clan.

Inside the Planting Space, the dozen or so clansmen stared at each other blankly. They had been suddenly transported to a strange place where everything felt bizarre.

Not seeing Shi Zhile, no one dared to move. It wasn’t until she appeared in the space that Mo Ze and the others breathed a sigh of relief.

"Master Witch, is this the Divine Power the Sea God granted you?"

Shi Zhile gave a profound nod. "This is not all of it. This is merely one-tenth of what the Sea God has granted me."

"Mo Ze, take the clansmen to the cornfield and pull weeds. If you find any bugs in the soil, you must tell me."

Mr. Wen had planted corn in the field that originally grew millet. In just a few days, the corn seedlings had grown lush and green.

The ripe, bright red cherry tomatoes had also been picked. Because the tomato vines weren’t cut down, a new round of cherry tomatoes had ripened again.

Mr. Wen had sown vegetable seeds in the empty corners—some were lettuce, others cilantro.

The watermelon vines sprawled over a large area, so Mr. Wen had simply fenced that patch off and planted loofahs along the corner.

The loofah vines climbed up a wooden frame, standing tall as if mocking the watermelon vines for being short and stubby.

Mo Ze and his group were at a loss in the cornfield. The space between the corn stalks was narrow, and every one of them had massive, size 11 feet.

Worried they would snap the corn seedlings, Shi Zhile called them back.

Jiang Yuxing scanned the area and pointed out the ripe sweet potatoes to Shi Zhile.

Shi Zhile smacked her forehead. "Mo Ze, do you know how to dig? You just cut the vines in this patch with a knife, pile them to the side, then dig up the soil under the vines and pull out the sweet potatoes inside."

Dozens of clansmen nodded together. "We know how."

With that, they all ran over.

Shi Zhile shouted a reminder, "Be careful not to step on the other plants! Everything here was bestowed by the Sea God. If you damage anything, the Sea God will be angry."

Mo Ze called back loudly, "Master Witch, we will be careful!"

The man standing behind Mo Ze was named Zhuri. He was the shortest of them all, standing at about six-foot-three. Because he wasn’t as powerfully built, he was quite shy—a true anomaly among the primitive people.

He blushed, hesitating for a moment before finally walking up to Shi Zhile.

He spoke softly, "Master Witch, I’ve seen those bright red fruits in the forest. You can’t eat them. Your mouth will hurt if you do."

Shi Zhile followed his finger and saw that he was pointing at chili peppers.

"Those are chili peppers. They’re delicious when you rub them on meat and roast it. They’re also a great treasure for driving out dampness."

Seeing his eyes grow even more confused, she decided to change the subject.

"The Sea God says they can be eaten, but your mouth will hurt if you don’t eat them the right way. Zhuri, have you seen any other fruits?"

Zhuri said excitedly, "Master Witch remembers my name! I know lots of edible fruits. In the eastern forest, I clearly remember the location of every single one."

Shi Zhile’s eyes lit up. "You know every single one?"

"I do. Once we’re out of the Sea God’s world, I can take you there."

Shi Zhile agreed, and Zhuri excitedly ran off to the sweet potato patch to help.

Jiang Yuxing lay on a lounge chair, watching leisurely. He said with a faint, sarcastic smile:

"Master Witch, you and the Sea God seem to be quite familiar with each other."

Shi Zhile ignored him and turned to toss the sweet potato vines into the Breeding Space.
