After hanging up the video call, Wang Peng got busy.

His supplies consisted mainly of food and weapons. Volcano Island was scorching hot. Besides the red-hot lava in the crater and the cooled lava by the shore, there wasn’t a single plant on the island.

If Stone Island’s specialty was stone, then Volcano Island’s was only lava.

After loading all his supplies onto his sailboat, Wang Peng bundled himself up completely, gritted his teeth, and braved the searing heat as he headed toward the crater.

His three small stone houses were at the foot of the volcano. He quickly collected the stones, then broke into a run toward the sea.

His sailboat hit the water. He jumped aboard and quickly sailed away, heading in the direction of Stone Island.

While sailing, he quickly sent a message to Shi Zhile.

[Sister Zhile, I’m on my way now. Volcano Island is really about to erupt.]

Shi Zhile was in the middle of packing supplies. She stuffed everything from the basement into her backpack. When the backpack was full, she continued to load things into her two "spaces" and onto her sailboat.

After the basement was empty, she received Wang Peng’s message.

She looked at Wang Peng. With a long sigh, he took the ice maker out of his backpack and handed it to Shi Zhile.

It was a cube-shaped box. When opened, it revealed many small compartments inside for holding water.

Shi Zhile opened a bottle of purified water, poured it in, and then took out a solar panel to connect it.

In just a moment, a thin layer of frost formed on the outside of the ice maker.

While she waited, Shi Zhile took out a large watermelon, smashed it open with her hands, and handed a piece to each of the two men.

"Once the ice is ready, it’ll be delicious crushed and mixed in with the watermelon."

The ice cubes were finished, but before she could take them out, a tremendous ROAR echoed from the distance.

Immediately after, the sound grew louder and louder.

Shi Zhile put away the ice maker and pulled the two men back to the second-floor window.

Looking out the window, they saw a massive, black mushroom cloud laced with sparks rising from Volcano Island.

Streams of red lava shot out, spreading relentlessly outward.
