Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer

Chapter 1130 Where the ideas were born

[Eon’s POV: ]

I stepped into the room, feeling a rush of nostalgia washing over me… I was back.

The air shimmered with a soft glow inside this room, illuminating a space filled with magical artifacts and floating books. Each book had intricate designs, its pages fluttering as if caught in a gentle breeze.

The place had been closed off for a long time now. The air of oldness in this place, which had been present back then as well, was now even deeper.

This room was not like the rest of the places in the tower. There was a certain feeling of belonging to it. The Mana density inside the room was also lower compared to the outside, in fact, I got a certain home-like feeling when I was in there.

‘It is the same right now as well.’

In one corner, a wall displayed an array of photographs, each framed in ornate borders that seemed to pulse with energy. The images inside of it must be moving in a magical manner, showcasing the live moment when it was clicked.

“That’s at least how they should still be…”

The magical photos were not made with anything like an artifact. They were the product of master’s magic, they were created with a unique magic of her own– the creation magic that not many beings in the world could cast.

This magic was special to her so I wasn’t sure if the images would still be moving, but when I looked closer with his eyes, I could tell they in fact were still moving.

‘Wow…’

Then I was surprised how master’s magic still worked even after she was gone. I had an idea that this tower was somehow storing her powers, but channeling that power to her existing magic was something I did not know was possible. It simply fascinated him…

“Oh! You’re finally here!” Rein was already here, looking through the pictures on the wall as I had known. She was looking around the place, a smile on her face even before she noticed us.

She was having fun looking around the place, and right now, there was a certain book in her hands.

“Anna~! Come here~! Look what we have here~!” Now that we were here, the rest of them opened their eyes and saw the special room before them.

All around us were various magical objects: glowing crystals, spinning globes, and vials of colorful liquids that bubbled and swirled. Each item appeared to hold its own mystery.

Against one wall stood several whiteboards covered in complex equations and strange symbols. The chalk glowed faintly, as if alive with magic. Diagrams of spells and potion recipes mixed with notes in my master’s excited, impeccable handwriting, showcasing the brilliance that had created this enchanting space.

In a cozy nook sat a single bed, neatly made with plush pillows and crisp sheets that shimmered softly in the light. It provided a comforting contrast to the lively chaos of the room, a place for rest amid all the creativity.

It was a familiar sight to me, but for the rest of them, this was a unique scenery.

“What is it, sister Elle~?”

They did not ask me any questions since they knew I was bringing them to my room. This place used to be my confinement in this large, empty castle.

“Why are those things floating, brother?” Alf was curious as to why the things were floating, why they were scattered around the place, and why only the bed looked clean in this place.

Grandpa and President were instantly enchanted by a wall full of uniquely enchanted arrows and the unfinished artifact weapons that were scattered around the room.

The room did not have a ceiling since we practiced a lot of things here including flying, so there was a lot of vertical space here. The room was still small though, so there was only this room, the bathroom connected to this on the left, and the storage area filled with all kinds of other things on the right.

“They are not floating because of any magic, Alf. Come, let me show you something.” I closed the door behind us as soon as we entered the place so that they wouldn’t see outside.

It was necessary.

“You all can look around as well. Oh, and you can have anything you want. We might not get to come here anytime soon, so grab as many things as you want.”

Be it Cradle, Chry, Grandpa, or Elder Aunt, all of them were interested in something. Some wanted the weapons and some were interested in the artifacts. Some were looking out for the unique-looking potions and fluids here, while Quinny was more interested in the clean bed that we had here.

She was tired right now. Before I took her here, she had been with her familiar who was soon going to hatch.

‘She needed to be with her familiar egg for most of the time. Pretty much all the time actually.’

For the last few days, she knew the Ocenoid egg was about to hatch. The incubator artifact was helping, and the environment on the 3rd and 4th floors was helping her, changing the view to the 5th floor on the floating islands was also helpful in a way.

They were getting closer to hatching and coming to this world but, to use the incubator, she needed to be with the egg all the time, which meant she did not really have much time to sleep either.

“You can go and have a nap as well, Quinny. In fact, I encourage you to go and have a nap.”

I’m going to take that bed with me first. It was a divine artifact that my master created just for me so that I could have a good rest in a short period of time.

‘It was a special artifact that allowed people to enter a deeper stage of their consciousness so not only was it something I used as a training model, it used to be highly refreshing to sleep in this bed.’

The sleep on that bed was rejuvenating, and the bed was capable of so many more things that I didn’t even know about.

“Carla, there are a bunch of blades in the right side storage-.”

“Say no more.” She had been interested in some of the unfinished artifacts as well, but to her, nothing was more interesting than the blades. She was going to be happy after looking through the storage as well– there were some good pieces there as well.

‘The armory filled with rooms full of all kinds of weapons was not as attractive to them as I thought since they did not want to take a lot from there.’

Chry, Grandpa, and even the rest of them said that they did not really have any use for all those artifacts. One good artifact for them was much better than a lot of artifacts… which was not the case for Carla who happily took a few thousand blades from the armory for herself.

I wanted to test just how much she could store in that endless weaponry of hers, but until now, even though the number had crossed well over a few thousand, there was no end to her storage capacity.

She could not take out all of them at once, but she certainly did not mind having all those weapons. As if a glutton, she was happy with all the blades that she got her hands on.

“Aunt Mime?” She had been looking at the glowing potion bottles for a while now and her little familiar mouse had already gone to a certain bottle.

“Ah, oh, Eon…”

She did not know why the creature was interested in those bottles, even more so why she had any interest in them.

She wanted to know the answer, even though she had an idea.

“They indeed are elixirs. Ones that we made, and ones that you won’t really find anywhere else out there.”

Most of the glowing bottles here were elixirs that we made even though I could not use any of them.

They were highly potent, and many of them were not even suitable for me. Some were test formulas that we simply made for fun experimentation, and the one that the little creature was looking into, was also one of them.

“That one might just be perfect for you as well.” since it was not elemental, a null element mage might profit from it more than the rest of them.

“Zo?”

The rest of them walked around the room after thanking me for the gifts. And I took Alf to see the unique artifact that was keeping everything floating.

I wanted him to have this for himself, so after we take this, I will teach him how to use it.

“I’m fine. I know-.” She was feeling nostalgic right now even though she had never been here.

“Go into the storage. You might find something useful there.”

This room did not belong just to me. It belonged to her mother as well. She used to do her own things here as well, so there might be a few things she left for us here… like the things left in the bathroom.

But that was for me. For her little daughter, she had left something that I know was not there when I was here the last time.

“Lastly…”

Zoe had a deep connection with this room because of her mom, so her flooding emotions were understandable. Perhaps, the three books left in the storage would be helpful to her with a lot of things.

“Miss Moon. Can you help me with something?”

I was going to take her into the bathroom– for work. There were a few things that we needed to see, and perhaps, something that would be more useful to her than me.
