Is Your Armor Legal
Chapter 51 Demon and Dragon
Chapter 51: Chapter 51: Demon and Dragon
Hong Yuan still wanted to watch the battle between the two mysterious powerhouses, but a calm Xie Yanran violently yanked him back.
"What are you looking at? Do you have a death wish? Let’s go."
Only then did Hong Yuan realize that his arm was still broken. If he didn’t hurry back for treatment and the wound tore open again, he would likely bleed to death. The two quickly headed downstairs and rushed toward the Death Madness Tower. Fortunately, with Xie Jingyuan and Xiao Yu backing them up now, they could rely on them to seek the Zero Point Consortium’s protection and medical treatment.

On the Roof of the Tongzi Building.
Sensing Xie Yanran and Hong Yuan’s departure, the Ghost-faced Blade Master let out a hoarse, deliberately disguised laugh. "The nuisances are gone..."
Feng Yin watched him in silence, having already confirmed his identity. Obviously, this Blade Master wearing Black Armor and a Ghost Face Helmet was none other than Ya Lie. To think he actually possessed a set of Protective Gear resembling that of an ancient Japanese general from Earth. However, Ya Lie’s outfit was clearly just standard Protective Gear, not a surreal set of Armor like Feng Yin’s. Even so, it made this already formidable Blade Master even more troublesome to deal with.
Feng Yin thought for a moment before sheathing his sword on his back. He turned around, sprinted to the edge of the Roof, and leapt toward a building over ten meters away, heading in the opposite direction of Hong Yuan and Xie Yanran’s escape route.
Ya Lie chuckled. "Trying to buy time for those two?"
He excitedly sheathed his Katana and followed Feng Yin’s trajectory. With a powerful leap mid-sprint, he quickly caught up. The two silhouettes sprinted beneath the moonlit night, leaving the vicinity of the Tongzi Building within minutes.
"If you keep running, I’ll go back and kill them," Ya Lie’s impatient voice rang out from behind.
Only then did Feng Yin finally come to a halt on the Roof of another building. He turned to face Ya Lie, who landed closely behind him, quickly drew his blade, and assumed his familiar Jiao Swordsmanship stance.
Ya Lie was a powerful Instant Level master. Although he believed his strength and Speed surpassed his opponent’s, he didn’t dare to be careless. Feng Yin, on the other hand, had never truly faced an expert possessing the power of See Through.
"Heh..." Ya Lie let out a sneer, his words pointed. "You’re not afraid of me seeing your preferred stance, but you were afraid of those two seeing it?"
Feng Yin paid no mind to his probing and merely took a cautious step forward. Chuckling softly, Ya Lie mirrored him with a step forward of his own.
The moonlight, nearly entirely obscured by dark clouds, cast its glow upon the Roof, illuminating their silhouettes. The two fell into a standstill once more.
A long time passed.
The wind blew; the clouds drifted. Dark clouds completely veiled the moon, and the Light suddenly dimmed.
SWISH!
Feng Yin lunged forward, taking the initiative to attack by relying on the Night Vision granted by his Armor. A stepping frontal slash! The Canfeng Sword tore through the air, carrying a fierce gale.
Ya Lie merely sneered. Despite the poor visibility, he steadily raised his blade to block Feng Yin’s heavy, forceful chop. If anyone else had tried to horizontally block Feng Yin’s Heavy Sword like this, their blade would have shattered and they would have died; at the very least, they would have been knocked off balance by the impact.
But neither of those scenarios applied to Ya Lie.
The moment their weapons clashed, Ya Lie fluidly pivoted and stepped to the side. Gripping his Katana with both hands, he executed a slight tilt, expertly pressing his blade down against Feng Yin’s sword. The Canfeng Sword was forced downward by the momentum, striking the ground with a resonant hum.
CLANG!
Meanwhile, Ya Lie had already reversed his Blade, slashing swiftly toward Feng Yin’s faceplate! In just a single exchange, Feng Yin’s sword defense had been breached!
In that split second, a flash of inspiration akin to combat instinct surfaced in Feng Yin’s mind. Using the rebound force from the Canfeng Sword striking the ground, he fiercely yanked the blade upward. Despite striking later, the Canfeng Sword arrived first. Its blunt edge caught Ya Lie’s horizontally slashing Katana and knocked it upward.
An upward parry!
The instant the Katana was knocked away, Feng Yin seized the perilous opening. He turned his sword edge, twisted his waist to drive his arm and wrist, and executed a horizontal sweep!
WHOOSH!
The weighty Canfeng Sword slashed toward Ya Lie’s ribs. If it connected, it would likely cleave right through him, even with his Armor protecting him. After all, Feng Yin’s strength while wearing his Armor was astonishing. The destructive power of his full-force attacks was Extraordinary.
However, his opponent was Instant Level.
Ya Lie had long since perceived the signs of Feng Yin’s attack. The Katana, which had just been knocked upward, instantly chopped downward. It Punched heavily down onto the side of the Canfeng Sword.
Although Ya Lie’s strength and Speed were inferior to Feng Yin’s, they were definitely above the level of "Ten People"—perhaps even approaching "fifteen"! This was a massive deviation from what Feng Yin understood an Instant Level master’s physique could achieve!
Possessing such strength, Ya Lie had struck the very front end of Feng Yin’s weapon. Pitting a favorable lever against Feng Yin’s disadvantageous leverage, he instantly suppressed Feng Yin’s horizontal sweep. Feng Yin quickly raised his sword, but his reaction was once again countered by Ya Lie’s See Through. Ya Lie continued pressing his Katana down while using the momentum to leap backward and disperse the force. He glided several meters away, landing as lightly as a withered leaf.
Ya Lie reassumed his stance, his laughter tinged with slight surprise. "What fierce strength and rapid reflexes. You really are a monster."
Feng Yin also took two steps back, feeling equally shocked. That brief exchange just now had allowed him to fully experience Ya Lie’s terrifying prowess. The sensation that all of his movements were completely perceived by the opponent, easily dismantled, and even met with a Counterattack was truly horrifying. And this was while the moon was obscured, a condition where ordinary people could only see by relying on the faint Light emanating from the surrounding houses. Ya Lie didn’t possess Night Vision like he did...
Before he could think further, the demon-like Blade Master let out a long laugh and sprinted toward him. Feng Yin gritted his teeth and immediately met the charge.
The two closed the distance in an instant, simultaneously swinging their blades at each other at high Speed. Amidst the explosive whistling of the wind, the Canfeng Sword and the Katana repeatedly clashed and scraped against one another, sparking cascades of fire.
CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG!
The hum of colliding blades echoed throughout the area. Lights quickly flickered on in nearby houses, and silhouettes appeared at the windows. These busybodies witnessed a battle they would never forget for the rest of their lives. The figures of two men clad in Armor darted and weaved across the Roof, the flashing blades as fast as lightning. In the blink of an eye, they exchanged over a dozen Techniques.
The majority of the onlookers immediately turned off their lights, closed their doors, and huddled in their homes, shivering in fear of being caught in the crossfire.
Ya Lie laughed maniacally as he relentlessly suppressed his opponent. Chop, slash, uppercut, sweep, stab! Vertical, horizontal, diagonal, vibrate, lift!
Gripping the Canfeng Sword with both hands, Feng Yin forcibly maintained his offense and defense against Ya Lie, utilizing Sword Speed and reflexes far beyond those of an ordinary person.
The two fought bitterly without pause!
One was an Instant Level master possessing the ability of See Through. Relying on rich experience, he seized the initiative at every turn. Even though his opponent’s sword was heavy and fast, it was always Skewed aside by his exquisite methods. The other was a monster with inhuman strength. Relying on the astonishing power and Speed of his Armor, he forced his opponent to constantly pull back to defend and dodge.
However, Feng Yin ultimately lacked combat experience by a massive margin. After several bouts, he was quickly and completely suppressed by Ya Lie’s terrifying Pre-read ability once the latter adapted to his Techniques.
During this time, Feng Yin alternated between using Stealing Step to dodge and Wolf Leap Step for flying slashes. The bizarre and swift Body Technique for repositioning indeed managed to break through Ya Lie’s See Through. Yet, the attacks following Stealing Step, or the advancing sword swings combined with Wolf Leap Step, still couldn’t escape the opponent’s near-Pre-read judgment. It was obvious that these formidable movement methods could be used to escape an Instant Level expert, but they struggled to provide much of a boost on the offensive front!
Seeing that he was about to fall into an Absolute disadvantage, Feng Yin’s eyes sharpened. He exerted all his strength, drawing his sword to sweep out a wide horizontal slash, forcefully driving Ya Lie back.
Ya Lie executed several high-speed consecutive jumps, retreating several meters in an instant. A mocking laugh echoed from beneath his Ghost Face Helmet. "So you’re just a fledgling with nothing but brute strength. If you have any other methods to struggle, show them."
Feng Yin remained silent, but in reality, he was already rapidly adjusting his breathing and mobilizing his mental suggestions.
EXHALE—INHALE—EXHALE EXHALE INHALE—INHALE—EXHALE EXHALE—
The Dragon Transformation Breathing Technique entered a special frequency. In his mind, a ferocious Jiao dragon began to inhale and exhale swirling clouds of mist. His heart began to pound in tandem with the mental imagery in his mind, beating faster and faster.
THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP THUMP—
A sound akin to beating drums echoed across the Roof. Beneath his Armor, the blood vessels across Feng Yin’s entire body bulged. His skin took on a crimson hue, and a dark red gleam flowed within the pupils of his eyes.
The Evil Flood Dragon within his mind roared at the sky, its form rapidly evolving and changing—
Now was the time!
Dragon Transformation!!!
