Ye Fan scrutinized Xuannu, and as his gaze fell upon her, Xuannu’s expression changed instantly, for Ye Fan’s aura was overwhelmingly powerful, leaving her utterly defenseless before him.

“Ye Fan, now that you’ve found this Divine Artifact, what can you do? Are you just here to take a look?” Even Xihe next to her questioned.

Ye Fan did not answer the two women’s questions. He continued to close his eyes, as if probing the situation within the inner layers of Heavenly Peak Mountain.

Just then, something seemed to cause a disturbance in the distance, followed by the emergence of heavenly thunder, as if someone with a cultivation above Ascension level was attempting to breach the boundaries of the Pan Gu secret realm and enter it.

Since there were no powerful fluctuations from afar, Xuannu didn’t think much about what was happening in the distance. She said coldly, “It must be Xihe chasing those ascending people. They’re seeking survival and dare to intrude into the Pan Gu secret realm. Isn’t this courting death? I’ll deal with them now.”

Xihe replied, “Do you need to step in? The boundaries of the Pan Gu secret realm are not something an Immortal can break through, so save your energy!”

“Who is he?” Xuannu looked at the man not far from Heavenly Peak Mountain and appeared puzzled; she didn’t understand why someone would suddenly appear.

Xihe also looked and said, “Probably just someone who stumbled here by accident. These people’s cultivation levels are really low, so low they’re no threat to us.”

Ye Fan suddenly opened his eyes, reaching out as if his arm could extend infinitely. Quickly, a force drew the middle-aged man in front of Ye Fan, who was already teetering on the brink of death, showing no signs of revival.

“What, are you interested in a human being who couldn’t even ascend?” Xihe said, “This man is simply seeking death, knowing your current goal is to maintain the stability of the Pan Gu secret realm, yet he still dares to breach the boundary to ascend. Does he think becoming an Immortal will let him escape your control?”

Ye Fan squinted at the man, shaking his head, “Things aren’t that simple; he has a power I’ve never seen before.”

Having said that, Ye Fan released a force that struck the man, who stood no chance against Ye Fan’s power. But Ye Fan’s force wasn’t meant to kill him; rather, it seemed to give life, causing the man to open his eyes instantly.

“Cough, cough, cough…” The man coughed violently, and when he finally took in his surroundings, even he didn’t know why he appeared here.

“Who are you?” The man first questioned, speaking in a tone implying he saw himself as superior, believing he could end Ye Fan at any moment.

Ye Fan shook his head and said, “That’s a question I should ask you. Who are you, and why are you here?”

The man glanced at Ye Fan, then surveyed Xuannu and Xihe, finally sneering, “If you don’t reveal your background, you’re courting death. I… cough, cough, cough!”

“Save your strength!” Xihe said, “Even if you have eyes yet recognize no one, you should have heard of Ye Fan. Being in front of Ye Fan now is tantamount to seeking death?”

“Ye Fan? I’ve never heard of him… Where is this place?”

The man examined his surroundings, trying to discern the issues present within his environment.

“This power… doesn’t seem right. Could it be I’ve entered the Immortal Realm?” The man looked at his hands in apparent shock.

This reaction left Xuannu and Xihe puzzled; they didn’t understand what the man meant and looked to Ye Fan for an answer.

Ye Fan said, “It seems your arrival was purposeful. Tell me, who sent you here?”

“And who are you?” The man suddenly tensed up, barely standing, only to find a foreign power within him. Coming to realize he was in trouble, his previous arrogance faded.

“This is the Pan Gu secret realm. What you cultivate is not Spiritual Energy but rather a force from Heavenly Tribulation. If you just plan to use this facade of yours to play tricks on me, I advise you to stop early!” Ye Fan warned sharply.

Xuannu said, “What’s the point of talking to him? Killing him might be better.”

The man tried to muster his strength for a battle with Ye Fan but found it uncontrollable, which only made him more anxious.

Soon, cold sweat dripped from his forehead.

“Who exactly is he?” Xihe asked.

Ye Fan didn’t answer. What he witnessed was the transformation in the man’s body, where his original strength and Spiritual Energy seemed to mutate upon fusion, nearly tearing his body apart.

Ye Fan said, “He probably can’t even answer that question himself. He thinks he’s cultivating immortality, but someone is merely using his power for experimentation! And that someone… is likely Nuwa’s avatar!”

“What do you mean?” Xuannu and Xihe felt a growing pressure.

Currently, though Ye Fan’s power is strong, it’s relative. They knew once Nuwa’s avatar appeared, Ye Fan might be killed because the danger of Nuwa’s avatar lay in its exploration of forces not belonging within the Pan Gu secret realm.

At that moment, the man suddenly exploded. Although the explosion carried some threat, it posed no risk for cultivators of Ye Fan and Xuannu’s caliber.

“Boom!” After the explosion, the man seemed as if he never existed, leaving no trace of blood or dust behind.

Xuannu and Xihe couldn’t help but approach where the man stood earlier, hoping to find some clues, but their search was in vain.

“No need to search!” Ye Fan said, “It seems Nuwa’s avatar is not dead, and Pan Gu… likely failed, meaning the ancient cultivation order has already changed, an irreversible event.”
