Ye Fan did not argue with Lei Zu about anything. His current task was to find something related to his memory on Earth, which he believed to be the place closest to his memories.

He didn’t remember anything about his past life on Earth, but he had a strong belief that he indeed once lived here, because after arriving on Earth, he could find more fragments of his memory compared to other places.

"Are you planning to cultivate here and wait for the fifth heavenly tribulation?" Lei Zu asked.

Ye Fan didn’t answer her. Instead, he directly entered the ancient relics in the Arctic. In the lower layers of these relics, Ye Fan once found traces of primordial cultivators.

After Ye Fan entered, Lei Zu followed as well.

This was Lei Zu’s first time here. Without Ye Fan’s protective power, she wouldn’t even dare to enter such a sinister and terrifying place. It seemed to pose a great threat to her life.

"Are these the traces of the legendary primordial cultivators? Does that mean these cultivators existed before Pan Gu and were lost in a heavenly tribulation, leaving only a few traces behind?" After observing around the cave walls, Lei Zu looked at Ye Fan, hoping to find answers from him.

Ye Fan shook his head slightly and said, "There are some things I can’t answer for you. These questions are best left to the primordial cultivators themselves."

"You’re joking. The primordial cultivators have all perished, and the cultivation civilization of that time no longer exists. How am I supposed to ask them?" Lei Zu said sharply.

Ye Fan observed the changing powers around him, only closing his eyes after a long while. Then, a complex force began to flow in the surrounding space, a force Lei Zu found extremely dangerous; it was different from the Spiritual Energy she cultivated or any other power she knew.

"Ye Fan, what are you doing? You’re not planning to use these forces to achieve something, are you?" Feeling the danger, Lei Zu started to shout, not wanting Ye Fan to continue channeling these forces.

Ye Fan had no intention of addressing her. After a long while, when the strange force around them reached saturation, he opened his eyes and said, "Didn’t you say you couldn’t ask the primordial cultivators? Now, maybe you can get an answer."

As soon as Ye Fan finished speaking, Lei Zu noticed something amiss. A light suddenly appeared in the dark cave in front of her, revealing some faint images.

"What is this?" Lei Zu asked.

"Evidence of the existence of primordial cultivators," Ye Fan said. "I imagine in the primordial times, there was a civilization similar to today’s Spiritual Energy cultivation civilization, where these people ruled the universe. But due to certain factors, they perished. Before their fall, they surely intended to pass down traces of their civilization, which is why such ancient relics exist. I never expected these relics to appear on Earth."

Ye Fan finished speaking as images began appearing in the scene, seemingly depicting lifeforms engaged in battle.

These lifeforms appeared indistinguishable from humans; all possessed formidable power, and the force they unleashed during battle was immense. Even without being part of the scene, Lei Zu could sense the overwhelming power of their fights.

"These are images of the battles from the primordial cultivation civilization," Ye Fan said. "If I’m not mistaken, these people never saw the emergence of an overwhelmingly powerful lifeform like Pan Gu. Instead, the civilization evolved through continuous warfare, where their objective was to seize power from others. The power back then was likely the source of Spiritual Energy!"

Lei Zu watched for a long time, seemingly seeking something beneficial to herself, but eventually found it meaningless. After a considerable time, she shook her head and said, "These primordial cultivators may be powerful, but they’re of no value to us. Why are you here? Are you trying to find clues about the destruction of these primordial cultivators or the means to trigger the final tribulation?"

"I’m no longer concerned about what the final heavenly tribulation entails. You should know that this era’s Spiritual Energy cultivation civilization will soon end. I can already feel the Spiritual Energy of the universe transforming into another form, a result of the tribulation," Ye Fan explained. "The reason I’m here is to find a way to harness the power within my body. I want to strengthen it to the extent that it can bear all forces."

Lei Zu shook her head as if she was reluctant to discuss this with Ye Fan.

After a while, she seemed to think of something and asked in surprise, "Then why did you bring me here? In terms of knowledge and ability, shouldn’t you have brought Xuan Nu or other gods like Lei Zu?"

"I don’t need to explain who I bring," Ye Fan said, stretching out his hand. Lei Zu realized she had lost any control over her power. "From a cosmic perspective, time is irreversible, but it’s also a paradox. When power reaches a certain level, I can preserve the image of time, even revealing some secrets of the primordial universe..."

After speaking, Ye Fan suddenly exerted a force, making Lei Zu feel her body bound by an overwhelming power, rendering her incapable of even struggling.

Then, under Ye Fan’s power, Lei Zu felt as if Ye Fan had propelled her, and the two seemed to traverse a powerful spatial wormhole, whose ultimate destination was a turbulent flow of time.

When Lei Zu opened her eyes again, she found the scene before her strikingly similar to the illusory images she had seen earlier. In front of her, powerful cultivators were engaged in battle, yet the power they wielded was not Spiritual Energy but the primordial power she had witnessed before.

"What’s going on? You actually brought me to this era?" Lei Zu was utterly astonished; she never expected Ye Fan to traverse time.

But Ye Fan shook his head, "This is just an image, and not one preserved by the primordial people. It is through the time turbulence that I brought you into this image. Only at my level of power can I bring you here to see the circumstances of the primordial era."

"You crazy person, take me back. I don’t want to see this primordial power. It has nothing to do with me!" Lei Zu screamed hysterically.

However, Lei Zu was utterly weak in front of Ye Fan, without any qualification to struggle.

Ye Fan remained focused, watching the battles unfold before him as if searching for secrets within.
