Word of what Lin Xinghai had said at the entrance to the military headquarters spread quickly.

It wasn’t just the students of East Sea Academy who found out; the students from the other two universities soon heard about it as well.

Just as they had started to regain a little confidence, they began to worry all over again.

At first, the other two universities weren’t particularly impressed by this so-called "number one genius," Lin Xinghai. After all, wasn’t everyone called a genius these days?

But soon, Lin Xinghai demonstrated the true worth of his "number one genius" title. Relying on his Marrow Tempering Realm cultivation, his Points rapidly surpassed those of numerous Body Shaping Realm students. He tore his way up the individual Points leaderboard, and in just a single day, he had not only caught up but also claimed the number one spot.

It was only then that everyone truly understood that there was a real gap between one genius and another.

However, they still felt that no matter how much of a genius he was, one person alone couldn’t affect the grand scheme of things.

But in the space of a single night, Lin Xinghai had dealt them another solid slap in the face, a rude awakening that one person really could change the entire dynamic between the universities.

And now, with Lin Xinghai acting so publicly, especially when combined with his previous actions, very few people could remain calm.

Many even began trying to find out what exactly Lin Xinghai’s plan was.

But this was clearly a futile effort, as only Lin Xinghai himself knew what he was thinking.

As time went on, the instructors from Capital University and Modu University grew restless. The class advisors, in particular, stepped in; some came out to reassure their students, while others began strategizing with them.

As for the instructors at East Sea Academy, how could they possibly remain indifferent at a time like this? Upon hearing the news, class advisor Jian Hua, for instance, headed straight for Lin Xinghai’s quarters.

However, the door was shut in his face. To be more precise, he didn’t get to see Lin Xinghai—only Little Fatty.

Jian Hua learned from Little Fatty that Lin Xinghai had already gone to rest.

It wasn’t just Lin Xinghai; the other members of the Xinghai Squad were also required to take a mandatory half-hour rest. Only Little Fatty, who had to arrange logistics, didn’t rest right away.

Upon receiving this answer, not only was Jian Hua not annoyed, he actually intercepted the other instructors who were rushing over and informed them of the situation.

Word that the members of the Xinghai Squad were resting spread surprisingly fast.

At first, many of the Xinghai Academy students were baffled, but some were quick on the uptake. Shi Anzhi, for example, immediately had his own squad members go and rest as well.

With him taking the lead, the other squads caught on and, after finishing their preparations, also began to rest.

After all, Lin Xinghai hadn’t said a thing, so they didn’t know how long the upcoming operation would last, or how fierce the fighting would be.

Under these circumstances, it was best to get as much rest as possible while they could.

When this news reached Capital University and Modu University, they were left speechless, but at the same time, their sense of urgency grew.

After failing to gather any more information, many teams went back to carrying out their tasks.

This even included Wan Feiyang and Yi Hao, who had just rushed back after hearing the news. They knew full well that panicking and getting worked up wouldn’t solve anything. It was better to complete another task.

With the two of them taking the lead, the morale at Capital University was quickly restored. Everyone started taking on tasks again, and they did so with even more fervor than before.

Over at Modu University, Xu Chengwen, who had also just broken through to the Divine Demon Realm, undoubtedly made the same choice.

However, Xu Chengwen took it a step further. He directly imitated Lin Xinghai and held a rally.

"Everyone, I know what you’re worried about. But the truth is, one person’s power is insignificant compared to the whole. Even I feel this way, despite having broken through to the Divine Demon Realm."

"I know it looks like I can earn one or two million Points from a single task now, but a squad capable of completing a Third Level Task can get two or three hundred thousand Points per run. If just seven or eight of those squads teamed up, they could surpass my Tianwen Squad."

"So, one person’s power is limited, and Lin Xinghai is no exception. Of course, some of you might be worried that he’s really come up with some brilliant idea to boost East Sea Academy’s overall efficiency at earning Points."

"But you don’t need to worry about that at all. If their method doesn’t work, we’ll just treat it as a joke."

"And if their method *does* work, we’ll just copy it. When everyone’s efficiency improves together, it’s as if they haven’t improved at all."

"So what’s more important right now is to take advantage of the fact that they’re resting and hurry to complete more tasks," Xu Chengwen declared from a high platform, his voice ringing with conviction.

The Modu University students had been genuinely anxious, but after hearing Xu Chengwen’s speech, their confidence instantly returned.

In essence, Xu Chengwen’s speech had a single message: whatever plan or method East Sea Academy implemented, they would simply copy it.

While the method wasn’t exactly honorable, it was extremely effective. More importantly, as long as they were stronger than their opponents, they could certainly do it better.

An instructor from Modu University, watching this scene from below, couldn’t help but nod in silent approval.

Word of Xu Chengwen’s speech quickly spread from the students of Modu University to those at Capital University and East Sea Academy.

Naturally, this news was a cause for celebration for some and a cause for concern for others.

However, none of this commotion disturbed Lin Xinghai. He slept soundly.

He woke up half an hour later.

"Too bad I can’t use my Time Acceleration Ability while I’m sleeping. Otherwise, I could have really gotten a good, long rest," Lin Xinghai remarked, rubbing his drowsy eyes.

Of course, with his current Physique and his incredibly powerful Perception Power, half an hour was more than enough to restore him to peak condition. He just wanted to sleep a little longer.

After rolling out of bed, Lin Xinghai immediately sent his Perception Power sweeping outward. He quickly discovered Guan An right outside the dormitory.

Of course, he wasn’t standing directly outside the door, but had found an inconspicuous place to sit not far away.

After all, quite a few people had gathered, whether intentionally or not, near Lin Xinghai’s dormitory, though they weren’t all clustered together in one spot.

Aside from these onlookers, the members of the Xinghai Squad were well-rested and waiting right outside his door.

Seeing this, Lin Xinghai didn’t wait any longer. He opened the door, let the Xinghai Squad in, and had Little Fatty call Guan An over as well.
