He first used his consciousness to open the Item Exchange section. The main sections on the screen wavered, and two new options appeared.

Purchase Items and Submit Items.

’Submit Items’ seemed to be an option for turning in any Curiosities found in Chaotic Paradise. In return, the True Talisman would grant an appropriate amount of Value Points and Points, and perhaps even some special exchange privileges.

He currently had nothing to submit to the True Talisman, so he skipped that option for now and directly used his will to select ’Purchase Items’.

A series of categories then appeared before him.

Recovery Items, Enhancers, Materials, Devices, Curiosities, Data...

He clicked into each option one by one to browse.

The Recovery Items section mostly contained powerful Recovery Potions capable of rapidly healing injuries. In Chaotic Paradise, even with the protection of the Life True Talisman, one could still suffer grievous wounds that were difficult to heal on their own. Such injuries required these kinds of recovery items.

In this Enhancer category, Zhou Yuanjue’s authority was already stretched thin. His Points only gave him access to some of the weaker enhancement potions.

Even if he had sufficient Points authority, he had little interest in enhancement potions.

He was a Seeker who believed in self-breakthrough. To rely on external items for self-improvement would be the greatest humiliation to him.

He was, however, quite curious about how the True Talisman delivered purchased items.

He selected the cheapest recovery serum in the Recovery Items category and purchased it with his Value Points.

"Purchaser detected within safety zone. Transmission conditions met. Transmit?"

A message entered his mind. Without hesitation, he used his consciousness to select "Yes."

A beam of white light descended from the ceiling, transmitting an item through its pillar. When the light dissipated, a thumb-sized glass vial containing a pale green liquid lay on the floor.

’So it’s this delivery method again,’ he thought. ’All transmissions must be completed within a safety zone. Is this to prevent people from using an advantage in Value Points to endlessly purchase supplies out in the wild?’

Zhou Yuanjue mused, picking up the vial from the floor. He opened the cap and downed the liquid in one gulp.

He instantly felt as if his cells had been stimulated, their activity and regenerative abilities greatly enhanced.
