Investing in the Three Villainesses Gives Me Infinite Returns

Chapter 87 - 766X Returns And A Stubborn Wife

The possibility that the five deaths could somehow interfere with their plans continued to bother him as he entered the manor and returned directly to his room.

Fortunately, Natasha and Stella were still asleep, which meant he did not have to explain what had happened.

He quietly closed the door behind himself before walking toward the smaller bed in the corner of the room, climbing onto it, and sprawling across the mattress with his arms and legs spread wide.

An annoyed sigh escaped his lips as he stared at the ceiling and mumbled, "If there is a chance for something to go wrong, it will go wrong. Huh..."

He had finally been preparing to leave Kilmir and put Berlic’s endless theatrics behind him, but now another problem had appeared at the worst possible time.

Elias rubbed his face before closing his eyes and exhaling slowly.

"All we can do is move according to the storm," he mumbled.

The moment those words left his mouth, however, a familiar voice suddenly resounded inside his head.

[Ding!]

Elias’s eyes snapped open.

[Evaluating the host’s actions.]

[Goodwill and care demonstrated toward the targets have been calculated.]

[Punishing Trons and Part for disrespecting your wives.]

[Feeding Stella Crimson and Monica Ragnar on the same day.]

[Comforting Stella Crimson and Natasha Sephila with a bedtime story.]

[The host’s current Affection Rate has reached 7.66.]

[766X Returns have been applied.]

[Ding!]

[Rewards have been issued.]

[Reward 1: Weapon Mastery: Sword — Advanced VI]

[Reward 2: Skill acquired — I Can Do This All Day (SS).]

[Reward 3: Skill acquired — Storyteller’s Captivating Tongue (SS).]

[Reward 4: Item acquired — Robes Of Three Sisters (SS)]

Elias stared at the screen for several seconds, and his eyes widened when he saw the first reward.

’Advanced VI?!’

His sword mastery had jumped directly from Advanced III to Advanced VI, and although the increase seemed absurd, the implication was even more important.

He only needed to advance one more time.

Once his sword mastery reached Advanced VII, he could finally begin creating his aura core.

A wide smile spread across his face as excitement replaced the irritation he had felt only moments earlier.

’I am getting closer.’

His gaze then shifted toward the second reward, and his expression became somewhat uncertain.

’I Can Do This All Day?’

The name sounded almost disappointing.

He focused on the skill, and its description appeared before him.

[I Can Do This All Day]

[Grade: SS]

[As long as your body or mind isn’t wounded by one tenth of the whole, the concept of fatigue doesn’t exist for you.]

Elias’s jaw dropped.

’What in the name of sword...’

He stared at the description in disbelief before his thoughts began racing.

Swordsmen tried to end battles as quickly as possible because fatigue was one of the greatest dangers they faced. Every swing consumed physical strength, and as exhaustion accumulated, their movements became slower, their reactions dulled, and their ability to control their aura or weapons deteriorated.

Even a powerful swordsman could eventually lose to someone weaker if the battle lasted long enough.

But Elias no longer had to worry about that.

As long as he remained relatively unharmed, fatigue simply would not exist for him.

With his sword mastery already reaching Advanced VI, this skill made him even more dangerous than before, and Elias couldn’t help but think that only a handful of exceptionally talented Warriors would be capable of standing against him for long.

He shook his head with a faint chuckle before examining the next reward.

[Storyteller’s Captivating Tongue]

[Grade: SS]

[You can captivate anyone or anything’s attention with simple words. Once captivated, their attention stays on you unless something pulls it away.]

Elias frowned slightly.

The skill was undoubtedly useful, and the ability to hold someone’s attention with nothing more than words could have countless applications, but attention was precisely the thing he usually wanted to avoid.

’Would not something that makes me nearly invisible be more useful?’

He chuckled softly at his own thought before opening his Inventory and examining the final reward.

His gaze moved toward the seventh slot, where three exquisite robes had appeared.

When he focused on them, another description appeared.

[Robes of Three Sisters]

[Grade: SS]

[These are three exquisite robes created by a devotee of the Three Sisters.]

[The robes are far greater than most armor. They shield the wearer from the spiritual sense and spirit zone of spiritualists, the mana zone of mages, and the aura zone of swordsmen.]

[Once worn, the wearer can disguise their looks.]

Elias blinked several times.

He looked at the description again before a grin slowly appeared on his face.

"Is this not perfect for us leaving the city?" he mumbled.

"What is?"

A sleepy voice suddenly came from his left.

Elias turned his head and found Stella sitting upright on the larger bed while ruffling her crimson hair. Her eyes were still heavy with sleep, and one strap of her black nightgown had slipped down her shoulder enough to reveal most of her chest.

Elias immediately looked away.

His lips parted as he tried to answer, but before he could say anything, Stella stared at him with a suddenly serious expression and questioned somberly, "Why are you not sleeping with us?"

He thought of the answer, but she didn’t let him.

She rose from the bed and walked over to his bed with an expectant gaze.

She slid one leg on his bed and leaned forward.

Their eyes met, and he muttered, "What?"

"Nothing..." she spoke slowly before a wide smile appeared on her face, "Husband looks funny!"

’Huh?’

"What do you mean?" He asked while frowning.

Her hand moved to his head, and she answered after touching his hair, "You have a weird bedhead."

Elias’s froze as he remembered something.

Crimsons had strong hair that was barely affected by strong winds, dust, and so on, but... once they got a bedhead, they looked like they had fans on their heads.

Was this really how he was going to be approved as a Crimson?

Stella stepped away from the bed and skipped toward the door like a little girl and said, "Anyway, I am going to bathe with you today!"

"No, you are not."

She frowned and clenched her nightgown in her fists as she muttered, "You already bathed with the others!"

"Huh? Who told you that?"

She pointed at him like he was some criminal. "I saw you going in and coming out of the bath with Monica!"

"I bathe her because she cannot bathe on her own," he explained.

She relaxed her arms as though she could not move them; then she looked away from him and whispered, "I cannot bathe by myself now..."

He gave her a deadpan look and said, "I have not even bathed your big sister."

"Then do it!" She yelled with clenched fists.

Right then, both of them heard a rustling and turned their heads toward Natasha, who was rubbing her left eye with a dumbfounded expression.

"Let’s ask her!" Stella said as she quickly crawled onto the bed.
