Investing in the Three Villainesses Gives Me Infinite Returns
Chapter 65: Punishing The Ruffian Knights Of Outer Night Watch
"Did you not hear me, you old bastard?! Bring me those bitches!"
The words echoed through the area, and Benjamin’s already pale face became even more strained as he stood before the two members of the Outer Night Watch.
"Mind your words!" Benjamin hissed, although fear was clearly present in his voice. "You are standing before my lord’s manor!"
"A servant going to teach me, huh?" the knight said as he drew his sword, the metallic sound of the blade leaving its sheath immediately causing Benjamin to take a step backward.
Elias’s eyes turned cold.
The voice was familiar, and so was the man’s body.
’Did I let him go too easily?’ he wondered as his gaze settled on Trons.
The last time Trons had disrespected his wives, Elias had simply slapped him a few times before sending him away.
He had thought that humiliating the man would be enough to make him understand the difference between them, but because Elias had been forced to leave for the spatial rift, these ruffians had apparently returned to his manor.
Perhaps he had been too merciful.
His gaze dropped toward Lastbane, which remained securely sheathed at his waist.
Was he really going to let them go twice?
How long could he continue holding himself back because he was afraid of giving Berlic a justification to act against him?
Elias clenched his fist several times before slowly exhaling.
’Fuck all of this.’
He had spent too much time worrying about what Berlic might do, and in doing so, he had allowed people like this to repeatedly cross the line.
"It is common for bastards to go a bit wild, is it not?" Elias mumbled under his breath.
The words settled his mind.
If Berlic wanted to use his status as a bastard against him, then Elias would simply give him something worth complaining about.
He drew Lastbane from its sheath and began walking toward the manor.
Benjamin’s gaze immediately fell upon him, and the old butler’s lips parted in disbelief.
"Ma—"
Before he could finish, Trons reached forward and grabbed Benjamin by the neck, lifting him slightly from the ground.
"Fine, if you are not going to bring them, we will go inside!" Trons said with a devilish grin as he tightened his grip.
Benjamin struggled against his hand, but the knight’s strength was far beyond his own.
"You are going to do what?" Elias asked while standing directly behind him.
Trons trembled.
He hadn’t sensed anyone approaching at all; he immediately turned his head.
"Fuck! You scared me—Huh?"
His expression froze.
Elias stood behind him with Lastbane in his hand, and blood was dripping down the silver blade.
For a brief moment, Trons didn’t understand what had happened.
Then he noticed that his left side suddenly felt strangely light and warm.
His eyes slowly moved downward.
A thud and a clang resounded throughout the area as the severed limb and the sword in his grip fell onto the ground, and the next moment Trons’s face and armor became covered in red.
Pain exploded through his body.
"AHHHHHH!"
He let go of Benjamin and staggered backward while clutching the space where his arm had been, blood pouring from the wound like a broken faucet.
"M-My arm!" Trons screamed before staring at Elias with wide, horrified eyes. "W-What... is this...?"
Part froze in place.
He had been standing only a few steps away, yet he hadn’t even seen Elias swing his sword.
His gaze shifted between Trons and the silver blade in Elias’s hand, and fear immediately replaced the arrogance that had previously filled his expression.
Elias didn’t waste another moment.
He stepped toward Part and swung the pommel of Lastbane directly into the back of his head.
Thuk!
Part’s eyes rolled upward, and his body immediately collapsed onto the ground without another word.
Trons stared at his fallen companion.
Then his gaze returned to Elias.
He scurried backward, desperately trying to create distance between them as his remaining hand pressed against his bleeding shoulder.
"S-Stop!" Trons pleaded as his body trembled violently. "P-Please!"
Elias slowly walked toward him, his expression remaining cold.
"I gave you a chance, and you went ahead and threw my mercy away," Elias muttered as he stood over him. "I hope you are now ready to meet my wrath."
Trons’s face turned pale.
"N-No..."
Elias raised the hilt of Lastbane.
Trons tried to crawl away, but before he could move any farther, the pommel struck the side of his head.
Thuk!
His eyes rolled backward, and his body collapsed onto the ground beside Part.
Silence settled over the manor entrance.
Benjamin remained standing several steps away, staring at the two unconscious knights with an expression of absolute horror.
"M-My lord...?" he called out.
Elias looked toward him before lowering Lastbane.
He bent down, grabbed Trons by the armor, and lifted the unconscious knight onto one shoulder. He then picked up Part with his other arm, carrying both men as though their weight meant nothing.
"Clean all of this," Elias said calmly.
Benjamin stared at him for several seconds before mechanically nodding.
"Yes, my lord."
Elias walked past him and entered the manor.
His footsteps echoed through the corridors as he carried the two unconscious knights deeper into the building.
He eventually reached the basement.
The room was dark and cold, with only a small amount of light entering through the narrow windows near the ceiling. Elias walked inside before throwing both knights onto the stone floor.
THUD!
THUD!
Elias looked down at them for several seconds before turning toward the basement door.
"They would not stay unconscious for long," he mumbled.
He wasn’t particularly worried.
The two men were only Warriors, and even if they woke up, neither possessed enough strength to escape from the basement while Elias was nearby.
He left the basement and walked through the manor until he reached her room.
The corridor was quiet, and the evening light had almost completely disappeared from the windows. Elias stopped before Monica’s room and placed his hand against the lock.
He opened it and stepped inside.
The room was dimly lit, and the faint glow from the magical formations illuminated the bed.
Elias’s gaze immediately moved toward it.
Two blue eyes were staring directly at him.
For several seconds, neither of them spoke. Then Monica’s lips curved slightly.
"Why are you coming into my room at such a time, you pervert?"
