?{Current Active Chains: 1,000,000 / Unlimited.}
?{Note: Primordial Chains Deal both magical and physical attack damage.}
?{Note: These are wife Kelly’s current and only skills.}
?’You!! She is already this powerful with only one Physique’s skills, and one million tentacles!! If she unleashed that many, even my knights will be overwhelmed. Not only that! Every single awakened person should have at least one element, but she has six! I shouldn’t even mention her special class... Now I understand why she can absorb this fast.’ Asher thought, a quiet weight settling into his chest as the reality of her monstrous growth finally set in.
?He turned to his wives, who sat around him with their eyes closed, slowly stabilizing their strength and getting familiar with it. Kelly’s breathing was steady, her brow slightly furrowed as she wrestled with the sudden, overwhelming magnitude of her new power. Sara, on the other hand, was back to reading her book, completely ignoring them, her quiet composure anchoring the turbulent energy of the tower meadow.
?’Kelly needs more skills. Luckily, I still have some Divine-Tier skill books with me... System, what about Juliana? Just show me the important information.’
?{Name: Juliana Asher Aetheldawn.}
?{Rank: SSS-Rank.}
?{Class: Godly Time Mage.}
?{Element: Time, Wind, Earth, Fire, Water.}
?{Physique: Godly Time Body.}
?{Physique first Ability: Time Domain: Once caught, all energy, rank, and class become useless. Can hold up to SSS-RANK targets. 1 hour Cooldown.}
?{Second Ability: Freeze all targets 100 meters away for ten seconds. Note: Can freeze up to SSS-RANK targets. 1 minute cooldown.}
?{Third Ability: Reverse: Can reverse all enemy attacks back to their caster, up to SSS-RANK targets. 1 minute cooldown.}
?{Skill: [Divine-Tier]: [Infinite Creation]: Use spirit energy to create any creatures, bringing life into them. User can also attack and defend with spirit energy; damage dealt with spirit energy or creations increases by 200% of magical attack, and a 200% increase in defense. 2 second Cooldown.}
?{Skill: [Divine-Tier]: [Telepathic]: Can transmit, listen, and read thoughts and memories from any target up to Ex-Rank. No Cooldown.}
?{Skill: [Divine-Tier]: [Mental Attack]: Can mentally destroy the brain and soul of any target weaker than her in rank. 1 hour Cooldown.}
?{Skill: [Divine-Tier]: [Infinite Healing]: Can heal one target with 100% of her health. 5 minutes cooldown.}
?{Skill: [Divine-Tier]: [Damage Transfer]: Take damage from an enemy, and transfer it back with 200% more Force.}
?’Please stop showing... Only these Divine-Tier skills I gave her are already this powerful, what about her previous low rank skills? I shouldn’t even mention her gear and time physique... Juliana is a walking powerhouse.’ A mix of deep pride and mild humility washed over him. He turned his head to Sara, who was quietly turning a page:
?’These two are already so powerful with their one physique, how powerful is Sara with her four physiques? I don’t think I can even face her.’
?{Huh? Master, at Sara’s peak, even an Ex-Rank will have to get serious to defeat her.}
?Sensing eyes on her, Sara raised her head and caught Asher staring at her. She tilted her head to the side, her expression unreadable yet entirely calm.
?Asher could only offer her a faint smile and closed his eyes again, letting out a slow breath. ’A monster. How can someone with such a cute face be so powerful?’ He thought, only to feel a warm breath on his ear.
?"Huh?"
?Asher opened his eyes and turned to the side, his face meeting Juliana’s, their lips deadly close.
?The playful spark in Juliana’s eyes had softened into something deeply sincere, the lingering shadows of their past struggles finally melting away in the warmth of the tower.
?"Your thoughts are too loud, Husband. We are strong, and we understand that, but you shouldn’t worry about it; we are all one... There is no way we will ever fight you." she said softly.
?"....?!"
?Asher blinked, dumbfounded, the defensive pride in his chest giving way to her earnest reassurance.
?Wait...
Was she listening to his thoughts all along?
?"You! Didn’t you say you wouldn’t read my thoughts?!" He yelled at her, his face flushing slightly.
?"Well, I can’t help it," Juliana said with a small, innocent smile, and added:
?"I already stabilized my powers for a while now, and I got bored... I can’t read Sara’s thoughts, she will slap me right out of her head; Kelly is busy and doesn’t need any interruptions; you were the only one free," she explained smoothly.
?"....?!"
?Asher was speechless, simply staring at her with a blank expression, realizing once again that he could never keep a secret from his wives.
He couldn’t help but smile.
Asher felt a familiar, grounding warmth push past his momentary shock. He looked at Juliana—not just as a stat sheet or a walking powerhouse capable of manipulating time, but as the woman who had clawed her way through her own dark past, just as he had.
He let out a soft sigh, the defensive tension draining entirely from his shoulders. Instead of pulling away, he reached up and gently tapped her forehead with a light, playful flick.
"Boredom isn’t an excuse to go snooping through your husband’s head, you know." Asher said, a genuine, fond smile breaking through his earlier exasperation:
"Next time, try reading a book like Sara instead of picking through my inner monologues."
’Reading a book like Sara? Husband might collapse if he knew what was inside that book?’
Juliana blinked, her mischievous grin softening into something much warmer. The playful sparkle in her eyes gave way to a quiet, steady reassurance. She leaned her head slightly against his shoulder, letting her presence anchor him.
"Maybe I don’t need a book when my favorite story is sitting right next to me." she murmured softly, her voice carrying a deep sincerity that caught him off guard.
".....?!"
