Chapter 305 – One for Each

  • Next Chapter

As morning sunshine spread through the window, I lay on the bed, exhausted. I admired the form next to mine, fainted, but still twitching from time to time. Kuini was down, her whole body smeared with sexual fluids, a mix of mine and hers. Her tiny twat was opened wide to my size, spasming together with the rest of her body, trying its best to close itself, unsuccessfully for now.

I rested for a few moments before rising again. Unfortunately, I couldn’t stay idle with her. I lifted her, heading toward the bathroom. There, I cleaned both of us, Kuini having transitioned from unconsciousness straight to sleep. When I was done, I tucked her inside her bed and went out to take care of my usual business. Since Kuini was out of combat, I took the liberty of taking the food from the warehouse without her, certain that she wouldn’t mind. Speaking of which, maybe the task would go to one of her brothers since she wasn’t “officially” working for her family anymore. 𝘧𝓇ℯℴ𝓂

Much later in the day, I teleported back to the village. Kuini was up and welcomed me with a smile of affection, and maybe a bit of shame. The night had been wild, maybe even a bit more than her “normal” criteria, which said it all.

Not much later, the children arrived in the carriage I bought for them. Today was their last common knowledge lesson in Geola, and the first day they would be living with us.

“Hi, kids. How was the trip? Did you manage fine?”

Aren, who was driving the carriage, answered me.

“Yes. Nothing happened at all.”

“That’s good to hear. Come, let me show you your rooms.”

They didn’t have much luggage with them, making the event a quick one. I had prepared a room for each of them since I had so many available. They had already seen the house, but it was their first time witnessing the finished concept, fully furnished. I showed them the three rooms they could choose from, which startled them.

“Such a large room, for each of us? Are you sure?”

Even Erin was bewildered.

“Of course. You can decide who takes which.”

The two older siblings glanced at one another, unsure about what to do.

“What’s wrong?”

“We thought we would be together again. We’ve always been together, even when we were in Makji.”

“Oh, I see. I’m not forcing you to do anything. Erin, Aren, you two are getting to that age where you want more personal space, right?”

Erin looked at her youngest brother, who was checking each room to choose the best.

“Isn’t Run too small to have a room?”

“No! I want my own room!”

“But, my treasure…”

“It’s not fair if it’s only Rin and Ren!”

For once, Erin didn’t seem to know what to do. From my point of view, she was the one having trouble letting him go. Of course, I wouldn’t miss the opportunity to tease her about it.

“Aren’t you the one who wants to be together? Give poor Orun his freedom.”

She glared at me with annoyance when Aren intervened.

“I think it’s fine. You can take care of yourself, right, Run?”

“Yeah!”

“It’s not like we’re separated. We’re right next to him.”

“…Fine. Then, I’ll take the room next to his. Run, you can choose first.”

She was a bit reluctant even while agreeing. The small panther carefully checked each room before deciding on one, using criteria only he knew about. Erin chose the one next to his, and Aren was on the opposite side of the corridor. Either way, only a few meters separated them from one another, even if they were in different rooms.

Each one had everything they could wish for. From a nice quality bed to a desk for learning and writing, a closet for storage space, and even a fan for summer, taken directly from my store’s stocks.

The house itself was equipped with a selnic fridge and oven, and would soon get more as products were released. Everyone had been briefed on how they worked, avoiding any future confusion.

The three children couldn’t hide their joy of having such a nice room, and stayed inside for a while, long after finishing putting their meagre luggage in order. This was followed by having had a meal together, with Kuini getting to know them better.

“Kuini’s employed to take care of the house. She’s going to do most things like cleaning, cooking, and laundry. She’s also my friend, so you better be good to her.”

“Yes!”

“Okay.”

Orun was still giddy while Aren answered seriously. Erin only nodded, scrutinizing the bunny as if she were hiding a knife under her skirt.

“Let’s have a good time living together. Tell me if you need anything, and I’ll try my best to help.”

Kuini, having two much younger brothers, was good at taking care of the children. Right after the meal, she even proposed to play a game together, to break the ice.

“It’s fine to play, but don’t forget your magic training.”

Seeing them acquiescing, I left them to their fun and went out to continue my day. In the morning, they would go to the bunny who agreed to teach them, and from time to time, they would make their way to Geola for magical training with the martial center’s coaches. Any time they weren’t learning or training, they would be free to do anything they wanted. The village was safe, making it the perfect place to raise them in peace.

On my side, as days passed, I started feeling an increasing number of people paying attention to me in the shadows. Whenever I was in a public space, I would often sense these gazes on me. The number of spies progressively increased, and the intensity of their gaze escalated as well.

I was raised to be extremely sensitive to these sorts of things, and my instinct was telling me that whoever was watching me was getting either impatient or cornered.
