The amount was deducted almost instantly after Kyle signed the deal, but surprisingly, he felt completely indifferent about it. Fifty System Points no longer felt like a significant amount to him, especially after his single video had earned him over fifteen hundred points.

’It’s basically pocket change now.’

He couldn’t help but find that thought amusing. Just a few days ago, he would’ve been fuming over losing fifty points because farming even that much had been incredibly difficult for him. Back then, every single System Point mattered, and spending fifty of them on something unnecessary would’ve felt like throwing away hours of hard work.

Now, however, he had enough points to casually spend fifty on a magical testing kit without even thinking twice.

Kyle nodded as he read the instructions. There wasn’t anything particularly complicated about using it. All he needed was a drop of blood and his hand on the crystal.

He continued reading.

Kyle looked at the two items.

One was for checking whether he possessed any magical elements and determining his affinity toward them, while the other was meant to determine whether Earth actually had enough mana in its atmosphere to recharge the Mana Storage Ring.

’So this is basically going to tell me whether magic is actually possible on Earth.’

The thought alone made him excited.

A month ago, the idea of magic existing in the real world would’ve sounded completely ridiculous to him. Now, however, he had an actual magical device sitting inside his inventory that could supposedly determine his elemental affinity.

It was difficult for him to wrap his head around.

Kyle pulled both items from his inventory and placed them inside his bedroom.

"Alright, let’s see how OP I am!"

The crystal looked exactly as its description had said. It was a fairly large, completely transparent crystal ball without any visible deformities or coloration. It looked almost too ordinary for something supposedly capable of examining a person’s magical affinity.

Kyle picked it up and examined it from different angles.

’This really looks like one of those crystal balls you see in some random fantasy shop.’

There were no buttons, wires, screens, or any visible mechanism inside it. Just a completely clear crystal ball.

As for the Mana-O-Meter, it was a small circular device roughly the size of a smoke detector. Kyle placed it on his table, making sure it was stable.

The device would need thirty minutes to provide an accurate reading, but Kyle wasn’t particularly interested in waiting for that right now.

His elemental affinity was much more exciting.

He looked back at the crystal.

"Let’s do it."

Kyle grabbed a safety pin from his desk and carefully poked his index finger.

"Ouch."

A small bead of blood appeared on his fingertip.

He positioned his finger over the crystal ball and let a single drop fall onto its surface before placing his palm against it.

For a moment, absolutely nothing happened.

Kyle blinked.

"Uh... did I do something wrong?"

Then, without warning—

Glowwwww!

The crystal ball suddenly erupted with an incredibly bright light.

Kyle’s eyes widened as a blinding, multicolored glow burst from inside the crystal.

"Fuck!"

He immediately covered his eyes with his other arm.

The light was so intense that it completely overwhelmed the lights in his bedroom, making them look almost nonexistent.

"Grhh! The seller should’ve told me beforehand it was going to blind me! I would’ve worn sunglasses before doing this!"

Kyle squinted through his fingers while keeping his palm against the crystal.

The light continued to shine intensely for several moments before gradually becoming less overwhelming.

Once the brightness had stabilized enough, Kyle slowly lowered his arm and looked at the crystal.

His expression changed immediately.

"Fuck..."

Inside the completely transparent crystal was a swirling mixture of countless colors. Red, blue, green, yellow, purple, white, and several other shades seemed to blend together, creating something that looked almost like a miniature galaxy.

The colors didn’t simply sit there.

They seemed to flow and intertwine with one another, forming beautiful patterns inside the crystal.

Kyle stared at it in fascination.

"It looks like I’m looking into the universe."

He couldn’t help but admire the sight for a few seconds. It was genuinely mesmerizing, almost like someone had trapped a rainbow-colored Milky Way inside the crystal.

But his curiosity quickly overtook his fascination.

’What the hell does this mean?’

According to the instructions, the brighter an element glowed inside the crystal, the higher his affinity toward that element would be.

But there wasn’t a single color inside the crystal.

There were countless colors.

Kyle’s eyes widened as a possibility came to his mind.

’Does this mean I have multiple elements?’

His excitement immediately increased.

Maybe he possessed several elemental affinities.

Perhaps even some rare elements.

The possibilities made his imagination run wild.

’Could I actually be some kind of super genius?’

He wasn’t sure, but the sight certainly looked promising to him.

Rather than continuing to guess, Kyle immediately grabbed his phone and opened the marketplace chat with BroomBroomLady.

He quickly typed a message.

He sent the message and looked back at the crystal, waiting for the seller’s response.

It didn’t take long.
