Not the displays.

Aarya stood beside him.
"How much information?"

The first two were available.

The system remained stable.

The site had simply followed its validated local operating envelope.
That was the point.

"That’s important."
Aarya nodded.
"We’ve reached the boundary."
"Which one?"
"The architecture can preserve options."
She pointed at the screen.
"But when resources become scarce, someone still has to choose."
Dhiraj looked at the operator.
"And that someone is human."
