Chapter 88: First fight in another world

The step of the monster overseer remained raised over the old man’s head, the sole hovering inches away from crushing his skull into the earth. The old man lay completely in the ground, his breathing ragged and weak as the iron collar pulled tightly against his neck.

Before the foot could drop down, a young slave girl near the back of the line violently threw her body forward, She dropped onto her knees directly over the old man’s shoulders, using her own frame to shield his broken body from the upcoming strike.

“Stop! Please!” she cried out, her voice trembling with a mixture of fear and absolute desperation. “He can still walk! If you give him just a few minutes to catch his breath, he will stand back up! Please don’t kill him!”

The lead beast overseer stopped his foot mid-air, his eyes narrowing as he looked down at the girl.

Even though her clothing was torn and completely covered in dust , her appearance was completely different from the other gaunt, hollow-eyed survivors in the chain. She was incredibly beautiful, with smooth pale skin, sharp facial features, and a remarkably attractive body that the loose sackcloth could not fully hide. Her long, messy dark hair fell over her shoulders, and her bright eyes were full of a fierce, desperate life.

The monster overseer lowered his foot slowly, placing his foot back onto the ground. A repulsive grin spread across his wolf-like jaws, revealing big teeth as his gaze slowly crawled across her figure.

“Well, well,” he said, his deep, guttural voice sounding incredibly harsh and full of a vulgar tone. “Look what we have here at the tail end of the line. I didn’t notice we had such a premium piece of cargo hidden in this fresh batch of field cattle.”

He stepped closer, his hand reaching out without a single flicker of hesitation. He forcefully grabbed her chin, tilting her beautiful face upward so he could inspect her features, before his large, rough palm moved down her neck, touching her chest and rubbing against her hips with absolute arrogance.

The young girl flinched violently, her face turning pale with pure disgust and horror as she tried to pull her body back, but the iron collar around her neck kept her anchored to the central chain.

“Please… don’t do this to me…” she whispered, her voice shaking as tears of humiliation began to form in the corners of her eyes.

“Shut your mouth, slave!” the overseer laughed loudly, his rough hand squeezing her hip tightly before his fingers moved lower to aggressively grope her rear frame. “In this territory, your entire body belongs strictly to the beast clans. A pretty little thing like you shouldn’t be wasting your energy pulling chains in the mud anyway. You are going to come to my private tent tonight and entertain me until the morning sun breaks through. If you perform well, maybe I will let this old fool live another week to haul rocks or can give you better food”

The other two monster overseers near the front of the line let out a series of crude, mocking laughs, their tails whipping against the track as they watched the display. “You’re a lucky bastard, captain! That one will definitely fetch a high price if you ever decide to sell her to the core markets!”

I stood completely still behind the shadow of the bone mound.

I looked at the three monsters, my fingers slowly uncoiling inside my pockets before clenching into two fists. The energy inside my chest began to move , ready to flood straight into my hands.

The things this world was completely clearing now. These beasts didn’t just treat humans as basic labor; they viewed them as cheap, defenseless playthings to be processed for their own crude entertainment.

So i finally decided to save these people and get more information about this world. then i come out from the shadow.

“Wait, leave her right now”I said.

All the slave humans and demons look at me and slave got schoked to see me.

“Who are you?” The leader of those monster said , looking at me in curiousity.

“It doesn’t matter who I am , if you don’t leave them i will crush you right now” i said looking straight into his eyes.

“Hahahha ” all the demons start laughing like they have heard a joke .

“Look at him , saying he can crush is, haha. But he don’t know that who is going to crushed, You have brought yourself to the doorstep of death stranger” the leader said .

He let go of that girl and the old man, left them behind and start coming towards me.

” Run away, you can’t win against him, please don’t risk your life because of us ” the girl who was getting humiliated earlier speak at me loudly telling me run away or i will also end up like them.

But they didn’t know about me yet. The old man also slowly sit up from ground and all the people start looking at me and the leader.

He come and stop in front of me looking in my eyes with a murder intent trying to scared me but i don’t even flinch i keep the eyes contact.

“Scared little demon? I bet , after you will get beaten by me you will go to your mother like a crybaby, ohh sorry i will not give you that chance” i said in mocking laugh.

“You— you lowly arrogant human, i will kill you right now ” the demon got angry after hearing my words and then he clinched his fist and drove it into my face .

The fist was just few about to hit my face but then i grab his wrist by my left hand .

“Is that all you got?” I said while tightening my grip on his wrist.

“He-he just stop his attack” the girl on the ground said and even the old man and other people got schoked by seeing me easily blocking his attack.

“W-What, this is… How can you…?” Even the demon himself got shocked.he didn’t expect me to do this.

“Now it’s my turn ” i grabbed his arm tightly and tightened my right fist and drove it into his chest.

As my attack hit him he goes flying backward coughing blood from his mouth and crashed into a tree nearby, even the tree couldn’t hold the impact it’s broke from the middle and fall on the ground.

All the people and demons looked at me in pure surprise, there mouth half open seeing the demon defeated in few seconds.

“Oops, it’s seems like i hit me a little too hard ” i said while brushing the dust from my shoulders.

“You- just who are you?” The girl sitting on the ground said , her eyes full of surprises and curiosity.
