Infinite Snake Evolution: But My System is a Total Menace
Chapter 81: nobody leave alive today
My muscles were still incredibly weak, and my internal core pathways felt fractured, but my mind was completely clear as the system began its five-minute countdown timer.
I forced my legs to straighten, standing back up
right in the center of the bloody floor tiles.
Suzy looked up from her knees, her beautiful face completely covered in tears as her hands shook against her stained clothes.
“Barry… Don’t force yourself too much let me help you?” Suzy whispered, her voice cracking with pure panic. “Your chest… the wound is still there.”
“I am fine now , Wipe your tears, it doesn’t suit you” I said as I reached down to pull her up from the floor. “We are leaving this room right now. We can settle the emotional accounts after we clear the venue.”
Suzy looked into my eyes, seeing my calm expression. She nodded her head, wiping her cheeks with as her focus returned. She grabbed her sword, stepping right next to me as four assassins rushed across the tables to block our exit path.
“Kill them!” the lead assassin shouted, swinging his sword in a fast downward line.
I did not draw my weapon yet, saving my energy, I stepped forward, using my physical speed to dodge inside his reach. I balled up my fist, packing a direct surge of my peak strength into his jaw, the sheer physical impact shattering his mask and knocking him onto the floor. Suzy moved beside me, her sword spinning in a clean, ruthless circle to pierce the throats of the remaining three attackers before they could even adjust their stances.
Up on the high platform, the Grand Elder was still fighting with there leader, the shock wave of there violently come from their tier output.
“My goal is to destroy every single king inside this chamber and take over this entire capital!” that man roared arrogantly, his voice echoing across the burning hall as he unleashed a wave of dark spiritual energy.
“Today, nobody leaves this venue alive! Hahaha!”
“You lunatic, it’s seems like you are same as back” the elder said.
“We need to get out from here right now, Suzy,” I muttered, looking at the gates at the back of the room.
My body instantly dissolved into a massive flash of golden light. My human clothes vanished, and I transformed completely into my giant snake form, I lowered my head toward the floor sheets.
‘Get on my back, partner!’ I roared through our mind link, my giant jaw opening as I swiped three incoming assassins aside with my Big tail.
Suzy did not hesitate. She leaped onto my scales, her diamond heels anchoring against my neck as we started charging straight toward the open exit track, smashing through the lines of black-clothed soldiers who tried to throw spears at me.
But up on the high stage, that man noticed our rapid movement lines toward the gate. His red eyes narrowed with absolute malice. “I told you that nobody leaves this room today!”
He lifted his hands, gathering a swirling sphere of red magic between his palms. He unleashed his signature technique, projecting a giant beam of destructive energy straight down the center aisle. The Grand Elder saw the attack and tried to intercept the line, launching a massive golden barrier to block the trajectory, but the speed of his strike was too fast.
The attack bypassed the Elder’s shield, going down the track and hitting the exit gates directly in front of my nose.
A terrifying explosion shattered the entire front framework of the wall, throwing a shockwave of heat and broken masonry straight into our faces. The impact was completely overwhelming.
Realizing the pure destructive power of the blast would injured Suzy badly if it hit her , I uncoiled my giant body mid-air, twisting my body into a complete circle to act as a physical shield. I absorbed the entire force of the explosion directly against my dark back scales, the impact fracturing my defensive layers and throwing our combined body across the floor.
The golden light flashed, and the system forcefully snapped me back into my human form due to the physical trauma. I hit the ground hard, coughing up a line of blood as my vision slightly blurred.
Suzy scrambled out from the smoke, safe from the blast because my body had taken all of the damage. She ran toward me in a complete panic, her hands reaching down to lift my shoulders as she stood me up against a broken pillar. Her face was completely pale with fear as she looked at my fresh injuries. “Barry! Why You took the entire hit!”
I looked through the smoke at the exit gate. The entire pathway was completely blocked by tons of fallen stone blocks and burning timbers. There was no way out.
“The exit is closed now completely,” I muttered, my teeth clenching as I looked up at the high stage where that man was hovering in the air. His power level was way too high, and it was completely impossible to leave this venue without defeating or trecking him.
But before Menos could launch a follow-up strike to finish us off, a silent figure stepped out from the shadows near the corner. It was the man I had noticed earlier—the one with the red snake eyes. He walked slowly onto the main floor, his steps calm as he looked up at the dark-armored leader.
“Menos, you are going way too far with this” the man said, his deep voice carrying an incredibly pressure.
Menos turned his head, his arrogant smile freezing for a second as he looked at the newcomer. “Oh? So you are also inside the venue, Lucius? The High King of the Python Clan.”
The moment the name left Menos’s mouth, Lucius’s red snake eyes shifted down the track, locking straight onto my face. He had noticed my transformation from a second ago, realizing my core line belonged to the snake bloodline.
Suddenly, a mental transmission vibrated straight inside my brain, completely hidden from everyone.
‘Leave this venue the exact millisecond I give you the signal, young serpent,’ Lucius’s voice come in my mind.
I looked at his hooded figure in surprise. I didn’t know his true motives or why a supreme king was offering me a tracking line, but looking at the five-minute countdown timer on my screen, I didn’t have any options left. I had to trust him.
